The Mavis Regional manager does not want to credit me for the unnecessary work done to my vehicle. I still have the ABS pulsating issue that I only had and originally went there to get fixed. I offered $towards the parts which they refused. The tires ordered for my truck were wrong rim sizeMavis decided to "do me a favor" and pick up the correct size, but I was not contactedWhen I arrived to pick up my truck from the 3-hour turnaround service, a bill I believed was going to be$(at the time of my reservation) was actually over
$When I questioned the difference, I was met with a very indifferent, dismissive toneWhile I handed my card to Operator ***, he threw it on the counter instead of handing it back, yet another insult in the litinany of insulting actions during this visitNot contacting me, in a sense married me to the brand orderedMy free will to decide on other options was taken away because Mavis decided this was the brand I ordered so this was the brand I was gettingA $price difference shouldn't matter, but I guess we will have to eat that cost...says rude Operator ***Well, it did matterI could have entertained several other options if just one person made a quick phone call...(1) it's a discount tire center, I could have started from the beginning and ordered the correct size tire with a less expensive brand (2) I could just accept the price difference and final total cost (3) I could have cancelled my service to take my truck to the manufacturer for service if I felt the price difference was almost what I would have paid had I chosen them in the first placeEither way, no phone call and insulting customer service ended up costing me well over $instead of the $717, where I started

This customer never notified our store location to inform them of any issues after the oil change was performed on 3/**/Our Regional manager reviewed the video footage and the oil change was done perfectly and completelyIt was also checked thoroughlyThere were no leaks detected when it left our facility and the oil level was fullMavis did not have the opportunity to see the carOur Regional Manager reached out to the customer and left multiple messages on 5/**/17, 5/**/17, 5/**/Our Regional Manager Patrick reviewed his documentation provided, Midas stated on 3/**/"vehicle was towed in, will crank but does not start (this means the engine was able to turn)...customer states the problem is intermittent" which means it does not happen all the timealso it says that "labor was declined" by the customer so they couldn't go into the engine to determine the cause of any potential issuesThere was another invoice from the dealer that states "tech verifies not firing on all cylinders, found cylinder & had an intake seat that went through the piston" that generally is NOT a lubrication issue due to lack of oilAgain, there is nothing on either invoice that states Mavis's oil change had anything to do with his concernsThere is nothing we can do for this customer unfortunately

Mavis installed front brakes and rotors to the customer's car back on 2/**/Customer returned to us on 6/**/2017, with a vibration/noise issueWe looked at the car and informed the customer they needed front calipersWe quoted the customer on how much the front calipers would beCustomer
felt that we mis-diagnosed the car, however, the reality was that the calipers were in fine condition when her brakes had been done months agoIf for any reason the calipers were frozen back then, we would not have been able to install new brakes and rotors on the carThe customer decided to go to the dealer and have them do all the workShe came back to us with a bill and asked we reimburse herMavis diagnosed her vehicle and let her know exactly what she neededWe would have been happy to do the work for her for far less than the dealerWe are not responsible for her dealer bill, however, in an effort to provide superior customer service the Regional Manager offered to the customer that he would refund her for the brakes we performed back in FebruaryCustomer will think it over and let us know if she would like us to send her the checkThank you

of $120 and I will continue to check with my credit card to make sure that goes through. I did find out something new today, something important that when you talk to Mavis headquarters that you let them know this. Today after speaking with you I went to my mechanic at Shell here in Connecticut to have a grease job done on my car and he called me inside to show me so I can see with my own eyes, the bolts in my front end were loose which could've potentially put me in dangerous situation, Mavis were the last people who worked on my car who balanced my tires and for the wheel alignment. When you talk to head quarters at Mavis please make them aware of this too, whoever that mechanic was who worked on my car was very unprofessional and someone should have a talking with him before something happens to someone else. I was very upset when I saw those bolts loose on my car, God only knows what could've happened had I not gone to my regular mechanic today for a grease job, I never would've known about this until something bad happened. This is very serious and shouldn't be ignored. I thank you at the Revdex.com for the quick action you got for me, thank you for doing such a good job. Upon investigation of this situation, it was determined that the noise that the customer is hearing is in fact coming from the rear brakes, not the front brakes which were installed at our Mavis/STS locationThe front brake work that was performed was authorized and necessaryUnfortunately, there
is no further action for Mavis/STS to takeThank you!
