Unfortunately, this customer's tires were serviced over a month agoCustomer never came back to our store location to let us know of this supposed damage and we have no way of knowing when or how he obtained this damageMavis/STS can not provide compensation to customer for rimsThank you

The regional manager to this location has made the customer an additional offer in regards to his complaint, he is waiting to hear back from the customer as to whether or not he is happy with that offerthank you

I did not get any phone call, I was not notified in any other way that somebody is going to be driving my carIf Mavis tire had the nerve to left one of their employees to drive my car they should be responsible for the damages he caused.I find it very professional that Mavis is still addressing the timing belt problem even though I stated in my initial complaint that it was NOT a timing beltThey lied to me that car was not driving therefore there was not supposed to be any damageI am just being fooled around by your employees and I never got a single phone call nor see any willingness to resolve the issueVery disappointing!!!!

Mavis/STS is more than happy to come to a resolution for this customer, however, the customer has been unable to provide us with any receipts or invoices regarding the work done by STSMavis/STS must acquire proper documentation of work performed before further action can be takenThank you!

Our Regional Manager has been in contact with this customer regarding this complaintUpon investigation of this complaint, the recommendation for struts on this customer's vehicle was not based on leaking of the struts, but on the mileage of the customer's vehicle at the time of visitThe customer
agreed to all work performed based on our mileage recommendation

This issue has since been resolved, a check was offered to this customer which he happily acceptedThank you

First and foremost the email states I spoke with a man named DaveI never spoke with a Dave, I spoke only with Nick who quoted me $for ALL engine services. Second of all I specifically dropped off my car asking for them to do the 30,mile maintenance, that was the purpose of me dropping off the vehicle to begin with, so them claiming that they recommended it to me and that I only wanted an oil change is false. When Nick called me back & quoted me $for all work on the engine, I was very specific in mentioning only what was necessary for the engine nothing extra, he agreed and the work was done. The price quoted "about $210" was never mentioned, and is again is falseIf the quoted price had been different than the originally mentioned $189- Nick should have called me back to inform me prior to working on my car and specifically mention that the price would now be $for the maintenance plus the oil change, not the originally quoted $(which I was under the impression included the oil change). When I get to the shop I was charged $for the workUpon looking at the invoice; windshield wipers were added to the car for $each, which I did not ask forAnd the man who took my payment (I dont recall his name but on the invoice it says operator ***) specifically said "Oh I'm sorry about that Nick should have told you that the Oil Change is not included in the 30,mile maintenance unlike some other places"I asked to speak directly to Nick about this issue, he never came out. While that gentlemen went to go look for Nick, the other gentlemen who was standing next to him came up to me and asked if Nick had also mentioned anything about my tires to me; apparently Nick should also have mentioned that I needed new tires ASAP and a 4th one sooner rather than later. That the tires are so bare that they are dangerous to drive and would not pass inspection. This is something else that Nick neglected to mention to meI appreciate the $voucher that they are offering me for future service, but the fact of the matter is that there are new windshield wipers on my car that alone cost $that I did not ask for, and a $oil that I was under the impression was part of the maintenanceI spent an extra $on services that I was not informed about or prepared forAfter this incidence I am never going back to Mavis- so a $voucher for future service is not sufficient. I am looking for a refund

The Regional manager is happy to issue this customer a refund check for the amount of his tiresIt was agreed upon by the customer that he would remove his negative reviews from both *** and *** and once this was done, we would send the checkWe've left the customer a message informing him of this as wellAs of today the *** review was removed however the *** review still appearsIf the customer can verify that he has taken down the *** review we can proceed creating the check and mailing it out to himThank you

All services were not renderedI followed up with complaints after complaints and my issues were not resolved by the businessI followed up in New Jersey with complaints till I moved out of state, and what I was told to do was leave my name number and the reason I called and someone will get back to me, which never happenedStaff/Manager Mohamed, was one of the guys I spoke with at the location in Union, NJI am requesting a refund since I'm no longer living in the state of NJ and cannot come to your locationMy relocation was expressed to everyone I spoke to on the phone concerning my vehicle not being worked on, yet it seems like nothing has been documented in the businesses data base

We got our regional manager to work out a resolution with customerScratches were on the inside of the customer's rim, they are repairable and we will be sending them out for repair at our costCustomer told regional he is satisfied with that resolutionthank you

The store clearly brought the customer out into the bays and showed him what was necessary for his vehicleIf the customer did not want the work done, then he could have simply refused itInstead he approved the work, paid for it and also signed the receiptMavis must always alert a customer when a part is considered to be unsafe, because if we do not, the customer could be in potential dangerThat is all the store didIt is up to the customer whether or not to authorize itOur offer of a $voucher still stands but that is all the compensation Mavis is willing to offer as it is pure courtesy

Customer came in for a rim repairCar was then test driven;
during the test drive the timing chain snappedCustomer was called and
informed of this, she then had it towed to her mechanic who told her that not
only was the timing chain snapped, but the teeth on the gear were damaged as
well
Car was only driven about a mile (if that) before the damage occurredThis
was an internal issue that was pre-existing in the vehicleThe car has about
136k miles on itCustomer’s mechanic told her a new engine would cost about
$3000; the store offered to help her locate an engine cheaper but never offered
to pay for itStore is not responsible for any damages

Customer received his rim back repaired just like he agreed to on Tuesdaythe scratch was on the inside of the rim and it has been repairedthis issue is closed

Unfortunately, the customer failed to contact our store location or our corporate office so that we can confirm that the balancing or the alignment were not done correctlyOur alignments are covered under a day warranty as are our balancing jobsWe would have been happy to any services
that were not done correctly free of charge but we were not given that opportunity and we cannot confirm the above allegationsThank you

This customer's credit card was credited 1/**/in the amount of $at the *** locationCredit card refunds can take up to ten days to appear on an account, sometimes more depending on the bankThe customer should try to contact their bank to see what their policy is on refunds
