Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Your Answer Here] Well, [redacted] ***'s response has left me flabbergasted He readily admits that the ball joint was not replaced...the ball joint that had initially caused the car to fail the state inspection, the ball joint that was supposed to be replaced, that I authorized his shop to replace The ball joint that was banged on so much that the bracket/clamp that holds it in place was cracked, leading to the cracked bracket/clamp being weldedThe ball joint that I paid his shop $to replace so that my car would pass the state inspectionReally I totally refute [redacted] ***'s charge that I knew his shop did not replace the ball joint I only found that out recently when I was hearing noise from the car and had it looked atAlso I reject [redacted] ***'s charge that I was OK with the weldWhen I was told that the bracket/clamp was cracked I asked that it be replacedI then left the car overnight (at that point with the cracked bracket, it was undriveable)When I returned the next day, I was told that the bracket/clamp had been welded...without my consentAt that point I protested that the part should have been replacedHaving no other transportation, I needed my carI paid the bill and left [redacted] ***, the proprietor of the establishment conceded that the ball joint was not replaced but said that the car was inspected and drove fine for over a year after the repair and implied that he had no liability in the caseI spent over $to replace the cracked part and the ball joint plus what I was charged initially for the repair from meineke...151.57, a total of In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

07/23/ Revdex.com of Arizona RE:complaint id # [redacted] from [redacted] I am responding to the above mentioned complaint from [redacted] about out of round tiresI have attached copies of the original sale and the two times [redacted] returned to the shopOn 06/30/ [redacted] returned for the first time stating that the tires caused a vibration above mph and that the tires were retreadsAt which time a road test drive at speeds up mph on Interstate where no unusual vibration was detectedThe total road test consisted of miles at varying speedsUpon return to the shop the tires were checked for out of round and balanceNo irregularities were found [redacted] returned again on 07/01/stating that she had taken the vehicle to [redacted] and was told that the tires were not properly balanced and that they were out of round [redacted] falls to mention [redacted] in her complaint letter as she was made aware of their out of round and balancing processIt is as followsThey use a Road Force Balancer which pre loads the correct amount of weight on the tire during the spin balance process If the tire is out of round [redacted] provides documentation stating so[redacted] has been repeatedly told if she can provide documentation form them which they would have provided at the time of service Meineke will replace the tires.This documentation is required by the supplier of the tires sold to [redacted] As [redacted] has chosen not to provide the above requested documentation and [redacted] cannot duplicate her claim of improper balance or that the tire is out of round it is with regret that we cannot reimburse her Regards, [redacted] General Manager

[redacted] The customer came in on 8/18/with a complaint of brake noise and a soft brake pedalWe performed a brake inspection and informed customer of the repairs that were neededCustomer clearly stated that he needed his vehicle back that dayAs it was earlier in the day that the inspection was performed we told him we would make sure his vehicle was back to him by thenOur computer system was having an issue pulling up the correct parts for the vehicle, but as they were not correct we did not put them onThere was a d**ay in receiving parts because of thisWe called the parts store and made sure to get the correct parts that fit the vehicleWe were able to make the repairs to the vehicle by the end of the day with the exception of the brake drumsThese were heat cracked and we would have the correct ones the next morningWe explained to the customer the situation and we agreed that we would put his old drums back on the vehicle and he would return inthe morning to have them replacedCustomer opted to pay for the entire bill and just return in the morning as discussed as he could not leave his vehicle overnight The next morning the customer did not show upWe tried to call and did not receive any answer or calls backOver the next two weeks we had tried on several occasions to contact the customer with no responseWe kept the drums on hand In case the customer showed up un-expectedly, so we would be able to replace them without any waltAfter we had received the letter from Revdex.com, we tried again to call the customerHe answered this time and stated that he has had phone troubles and he had been meaning to call usWe invited him in again at his convenience to have the drums replaced and he said he would be in the next morning to do so Customer arrived the next morning on 9/7/and we replaced his drums as discussed and explained to the customer that we did not and would never use incorrect parts as was his concernWe checked over our previous repairs and all was secure, safe and correctCustomer left understanding that his vehicle is safe and all repairs were made correctlyAnd this has resolved the customer's complaint Jason D [redacted] Store Manager #(206) [email protected]

I ( [redacted] - Manager) am just flabbergasted that this is still an ongoing issue concerning this [redacted] whom the complaining party does not ownWhen the owner of the vehicle decided to take it from where this originally happenedThe reason it was taken from Meineke Car Care Center is because the responsible party ( [redacted] ***) talked the customer into bringing the truck to them and they were going to take care of the repair [redacted] sat and watched the entire procedure happen and he was never told we could drill out the old plug and replace it with an over-sized plug - NEVER told that! He was told the pan may have to be taken out to get the seized plug out - At that time I had no idea it would require removing the entire engine to do this procedureLike I have told [redacted] our company would help with getting the part (oil pan) at a low cost and do a fair amount of labor at no charge - he declined and they removed the vehicle on their own beliefs that [redacted] would handle this issue since the vehicle was serviced at that facility prior to coming to Meineke for an oil changemonths without a vehicle, when these parties were told I would make it a priority to have this issue resolved one week after it happenedThis complaint - once again needs to be directed to [redacted] and not our Meineke shop! Going back and forth isn't helping get this issue resolved and now that it has been taken to the shop that did the oil change it should be fixed there immediately!

MEINKE CAR CARE SERVICED THE MOTOR HOME ON NOV TH WE PERFORMED AN OIL AND FILTER CHANGE AND AN AIR FILTER AT HER REQUEST WE DO NOT STOCK THE PARTS HERE SO WE PURCHASED THESE ITEMS FROM OUR LOCAL PARTS VENDERTHE OIL FILTER O RING WAS FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE AFTER WE INSTALLED ITAS THE MOTOR HOME LEFT AND WAS DRIVING DOWN THE STREET THE OIL HAD STARTED TO LEAK PASSED THE OIL FILTER O-RING .THE MOTOR HOME EXPIERIENCED A LOSS OF POWER DO TO A TORN AIR INTAKE SEAL TO THE TURBO , THAT WAS READY TO TEAR APART BEFORE WE SERVICED IT THE MOTOR HOME WAS TOWED BACK TO MEINEKE S TO TRY AND FIFURE OUT THE ISSUE THATS WHEN WE SEEN THE BAD SEAL WE CLEANED AND TOPPED OF THE OIL BUT STILL HAD NO POWER DO TO BAD SEAL ON THE TURBO WE FOUND AND ORDERED THE INTAKE TUBE SEAL (WICH TOOK A COUPLE WEEKS ) DURING THIS TIME AS THE MOTOR HOME SAT IT DEVELOPED SOME STRANGE ELECTRICAL ISSUE WITH BATTERY AND EVENTUALLY THE STARTER WITHOUT ANY SUCCESS WE UNABLE TO GET THE MOTOR HOME TO START ! WE REPLACED THE STARTER AND HAD THE SAME NO START ISSUE MAVIS WAS INFORMED OF THESE ISSUES AND THAT MEINEKE WAS NOT ABLE TO FURTHER DIAGNOSE OR EQUIPED TO FURTHER PERFORM ANY REPAIRS ON THIS MOTOR HOME THAT HAS A MERCEDES DEISAL ENGINE SHE WAS INFORMED THAT A CERTIED MECEDES MOTOR HOME SPECIALIST WOULD BE NEEDED TO REPAIR HER MOTOR HOME .AND THAT WERE TWO PLACES IN CINCINNATI THAT COULD HELP HER AND THAT ANY FURTHER ISSUES WITH THE MOTOR HOME WAS BETWEEN HER AND WHOEVER SHE DECIDED TO HAVE WORK ON IT
