I wanted to buy tickets to a particular event in my area I simply [redacted] the event and this company's website appeared first I figured they were affiliated with the event somehow and I didn't think to check other websites Anyway, I went through the process of purchasingI was given a total, and I paid it Never once, was the total given to me in Canadian dollars Instead it was given in US dollars Soon after, I received a notice from my credit card that I was charged much more than what I was expecting I emailed this company to complain about the price, and they told me that I clicked the "I accept terms" button so there is nothing they can do I first asked for a return, but they refused I then checked [redacted] and found out that these same tickets are listed at $less than what I paidI almost died How can a legitimate company feel good about overcharging like this? I talked to them again, this time asking to get credited the difference as I still want to go to the event They refused again I want to warn others to avoid buying from this company as they have no morals and do not feel at all bad about ridiculously over charging If they gave me my money back, I would have considered using them againI obviously won't now

Unfortunately, I feel into the trap of what I would consider a ticket scamBelieving I was going to site of the venue for a concert, I would up with Box Office ticketsTickets with a face value of $per ticket became $Realizing the difference I called to express my surprise, as you might expect they did not careIn addition, the time of concert on the Box Office ticket sight was 8:00pmThe actual time of the show is 7:00pmIt is hard to understand how this happens in a world full of regulationsRevdex.com needs to do more than they are doingBy the way, this ticket agent gets F from Revdex.comMy bad on not doing due diligence but c'mon this place should be shut down

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Your inspection was full of inadequacy and your written paperwork was pretty far off from what you said to me over the phoneThat is why we are requesting the recorded message that your company provides for customer satisfactionYou said driving my vehicle was unsafe to drive at that time until my rotors were replacedThis situation is not about the pads but about strongly suggesting an operation on both of my vehicles that was not neededLow break pads does NOT mean my rotors need to be replaced, they could be easily resurfaced for "light scaring" The internet website Yelp also has some reviews saying the same thing as I am here about your practiceBoth vehicles also did not show signs of rotors needing to be completely replaced, maybe tinkered with, but not replacedYour inspection was malpractice, and your message you said to me over the phone being very different from your written inspectionwhich I consider to be malpracticeLes Schwab carefully measured my break pads because of this situationAfter weeks of your inspection they let me know it was up at 4mm for my break padsI looked at my rotors in their shop and saw the measurement, they were far more accurate than yoursI have the paperwork from Les Schwab to show this informationA bid of almost 900$ is not child's play, I would have had to take out a loan for this unneeded workI am very upset with your company and how you strongly recommend slightly worn equipment to be replaced and call it unsafePlease provide me and the Revdex.com with the recordings that are in your companies possession between me and your shop My truck also only has 53,miles Sincerely, [redacted]

Ms [redacted] brought her car to our shop for an oil change, an air conditioning problem, and a tire sensor problem Also, she had an engine light on, and as a courtesy we always read engine light codes when any car is brought in to our shopHer vehicle was assigned to our Master Tech *** [redacted] , who has been with us for yearsShe asked for a full synthetic oil change which is $64.95, and was charged $39, being a first time customerIt is very possible we did not put a sticker on her window for the oil change If she comes back, we will be happy to do so Regarding her air conditioning problem, The first step is to check the hard parts such as the compressor to see if it is operational Then you check for leaks It is common that refrigerant leaks are very hard to detect with a UV detector, since they are typically very small leaks So, the AC system is hooked up to a refrigerant recovery machine The system is vacuumed down to see if it will hold a vacuum This still does not insure there are no leaks, so the system is filled with refrigerant according factory specs, and a dye package is added If subsequently refrigerant leaks out the dye will show where the leak is The dye package is $20, and Ms [redacted] was not charged for this service She was only charged for the vacuuming down of the system, and a refill There was also no charge for inspecting the hard parts If a vehicle comes back with a refrigerant leak, you can see where the dye is coming out, and a repair is recommended At that time there would be no charge for refrigerant recovery and refill, since it was paid for already.Regarding her tire pressure sensor problem, she had a sensor installed at another shop who didn't have the proper computer to reprogram here TPMS system Somewhere along the line also she had replaced the full size spare, which would also have had a sensor with a donut type spare tire with no sensor The Manager explained to her that her on board computer was programmed to read sensors, and until she replaced the donut spare with a full size tire with sensor, the system could not be reprogrammed We have a state of the art computer for reprogramming tire pressure sensors Ms [redacted] would not accept that explanation.Regarding the catalytic converter code her car had, we have done several of the Jeep Liberties, and the Manager knew without looking it up that it would be about $ No formal estimate was given She said the car was running fine, and was not interested.I'm forwarding her work order, and invoice which shows she was given a full synthetic oil change for a substantially discounted price She received a full diagnosis of here air conditioning system, and a recharge for $129.90, and was not charged for the $dye package which was done, but is not on here invoice Also, her tire pressure sensor issue cannot be addressed until she replaces the donut spare which has no sensor, with a full size tire with sensor, which is how the vehicle came from the factory.I'm sending this information to you by email, and will forward the work order and invoice by fax in the next couple of days

7/13/Catalytic converter, we have warrantied it one last timeWe talked to the manufacturer who agreed to warranty it againCatalytic converters don't really go bad, there are no moving partsThe issues are further upstream, issues with the motor that were put on his ticket, tuneup and timing chain, which were let him know about in

We never received the electronic access The email I received did NOT have the link that it referenced My return request for the link sent to each address provided was ignored

As I said before the Ball Joint was loose and by welding the control are it become solid and tight, the customer was aware to all thisand drov the car for a year and half without problemswe did a mistake and not change the invoice to reflect that we did not change the ball joint Thank you [redacted] ***

Customer was told to bring vehicle back to shop and still has not done so up to date she was trying to get in touch with me the owner I did call her back rite away and did not hear back from her the next day I had left for vacation the next day so I told my manager to have her bring the car back and call me so I could figure out a solution but she would not bring car back for us to look at what happened

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments below There are a few things that a most certainly not accurate First, I picked my car up @ 2:right before my wife and I had to get my children from school When I drove it up the hill and into my driveway, I told my wife the brakes felt very odd and hoped that it was due to the cold climate We then left in her car to get the kids before going to an ultrasound appointment By the time we got home, it was past 6:and I really didn't think about the brakes The next morning I woke up, warmed the car up, and took it for a drive around the block to see if the brakes were still an issue This is when I took it immediately to Meineke, just about 9:or so, certainly not 1:like Meineke previously stated I called and told him exactly what happened, he told me to bring the vehicle in While waiting, a woman came in with brake problems from the week prior (they were screeching and sticking she said) The gentleman that owns Meineke said my brake line was broken and asked if I wanted to see it I laughed and said "no I'm good, when I brought it in the brakes worked fine, when I drove off they were broken" His response was "Ya, things happen." He then asked if I wanted it fixed for $and I said that I would never let him touch my car again This is when I took it to [redacted] and they replaced it for $ In regards to ***, I can most certainly explain what happened on a site for feedback I do not have a clue what he is referring to about rent I never mentioned anything about rent, and quite frankly have no issues paying my rent This seems like a malicious try by the owner of Meineke to make me look like I am a guy looking for something free because I can't afford my bills? This whole thing is over a business doing a consumer wrong and not owning up to it On top of not being a compassion business owner that cares for his customers, he tries to make me look like a broke man that can't pay his rent I have spent over $4,in repairs to both my car and my wife's former van, it is a bad sense of business judgment to treat repeat customers this way Shameful God Bless- hopefully this just sheds a light and the next person doesn't have to pay out of pocket for Meinke in South Attleboro's mistakes that they won't own up to Regards, [redacted]

I visited the store at [redacted] I almost spent $4,to replace an engine that was NOT NEEDED!Engine was overheated and was told the engine had to be replaced along with the radiator, water pump, and basically the rest of the cooling systemI had the cooling system work done but they said that was not enough after that work was done...the engine was ruined and it continued to overheatBrought to another mechanic who discovered the engine was fineThere must have been an air pocket when Meineke filled the new radiatorSaved thousands because I walked away

I am rejecting this response because: After the original Meineke's repair failed to work, I did bring my car back to Meineke, but they could not find anything wrong with their repair, so they cleared the fault codes and gave the car back to me with no additional workHowever, the same fault codes returned the next dayHaving brought my car to them twice and still having the same issue linger, proved to me that Meineke was not competent or capable of resolving the problemSo it was a no-brainer not to take the car back to them the 3rd timeI took it to a Jeep dealer, and they found that Meineke had demonstrated poor workmanship in their repair job, and Jeep dealership had to fix it at a cost to meThis is why I find it extremely unfair for Meineke to refund me for their repair.Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The facts are: I took my girlfriends vehicle to get a simple oil changeAt one point, [redacted] , told me they were having problems with the oil plugI asked if there was anything they could do and he said, "There's always a way"After to minutes of pounding I was asked to go down into the mechanic pit where I was shown that they had destroyed the oil plug and broken the oil pan in the processAs soon as the oil pan was broken it became [redacted] 's responsibility yet he has continued to deny that responsibilityAny cost to repair that damage should be the sole responsibility of the party who caused the damage not the person who last change the oil, the person who sold the vehicle, not the person who built the vehicle AND CERTAINLY NOT THE PERSON WHO TRUSTED THEM TO DO A PROFESSIONAL JOB.? ? At what point does [redacted] admit he had an error in judgement and reimburse the cost of the repairs? Would [redacted] be willing to pay for damages to his own vehicle, were the roles reversed? I am not the smartest guy in the room but it seems a simple matter to me ; if you break it, apologize and fix it.? This is [redacted] the owner of Meineke Car Care of [redacted] .I was here for the whole process of the inspection and work on Mr[redacted] ***.After we brought the vehicle into the shop and performed the [redacted] State Inspection [redacted] the Manager took Mr [redacted] into the shop and showed him all the work that was required for his vehicle to pass the [redacted] State Inspection.We explained and showed him that the mufflers had rot holes on the top of them which was allowing exhaust gases to escape,that the brake calpier was leaking and that the emergancy brake mechinisms on both rear brake calipers were frozen from rust and lack of use on both rear calipers and the emergancy brake cables were also frozen.This is very common because most people do not use their emergancy brake as instructed by the manufactuer and with the vehicles age of 14yrs and these are all Safety Failures by [redacted] Sate Law.Mr [redacted] was shown the Stainless PERFORMANCE mufflers that we would be using on his vehicle and was fully aware there would be a change in the tone and sound of his vehicle.Mr [redacted] was brought back into the office and was presented the estimate of what his vehicle needed and the cost of performing all the required work and gave us the ok to do the work and get a valid [redacted] State Inspection sticker on his vehicle.Where this was going to be a long process of repairing his vehicle we provided Mr [redacted] with a Free loaner car that he could use so he could get back home and get to work the next day.I feel that Mr [redacted] brought his vehicle in for a [redacted] State inspection,which his car would not pass,was made aware of all the repairs needed by taking him into the shop and showing him directly on his vehicle and was show the estimate to do all the repairs and left with all the repairs completed to the price agreed upon This is the business owner [redacted] again..what I am willing to do to help resolve the situation that Mr[redacted] is having with the performance mufflers..If he brings to his mechanic and the mechanic carefully removes the mufflers..undamaged..I am willing to give him a check for $to cover the muffler replacements with ones that he would rather have..although I cannot sell them as new mufflers..I have used car dealers I do work for so I can install them on cars they are selling at a discounted rate.I will refund the $to Mr [redacted] as soon as I received the undamaged mufflers back..I feel this is very fair on my part to resolve this issue Thank You [redacted] ***

Complete crooksI booked an appointment and arrived on time to see that the doors were not even openedI came in asking for an oil change already listing in my booked appointment that I wanted a basic oil changeI sat in the office the entire time when an employee named Dean told me that they went ahead and changed the air filter What air filter? I asked for an oil changeYet, he told me that since they are so considerate they're going to charge me an extra $Wow, how convienentThat it was absolutely necessary for my air filter to be changedWell, what if I couldn't afford it at the momentWere they going to keep my car until I paidYeah, these people really care I was not asked a single question along the process to get a confirmation So they used synthetic oil instead of basic oil without my express permission just to charge me moreThen Dean knowingly lied to me and said that I could use the $rebate except it would only be applicable for BASIC OIL CHANGES These people robbed me and the worst part is that I don't even know if they put synthetic oil in or a new air filterThey could have just lied to me and put the charges on without fixing my carWhich at this point I am highly suspicious is what occured Absolute crooksI paid the bill and am never going there againYou hear that Dean? You did this

This business is just horribleI would never ever recommend this business to anyoneThey are very unprofessional and they prey on uninformed customers especially womenThey installed a bunch of things I didnt ask for and charged me the most expensive rates for itThey have NO customer service skills what so everThey didnt inform me about anything they were going to do to my vehicleI was stuck leaving my vehicle there for over 3hours because I needed brake pads and they just took advantage of it

We showed the customer, with our tech Jack D***, the oil filter housing and she verbally agreed that she saw no signs of damage to the housing. We paid for the cost of the tow, and didn't charge her for the specialty oil filter that we ordered (we replaced with one of ours first and was... still leaking slightly). After replacing with a different brand, the leaking ceased and there remained a bit of bubbling around where the cap screws on. We suggested a manufacturer defect with the housing, which of course, the dealer denied. We showed her the threads and everything. Our technician can attest to everything that was said. She has never been to our location five times. We have also attached a copy of the signed work order. ***SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REDACTED BY BBB***
