We appreciate the customers concerns Our investigation indicates Delta Sonic changed the oil on the complainant's vehicle on 7/24/ On that date, quarts were added to the vehicle in accordance with BMW's specifications The complainant returned to file a claim on 9/28/ Since the oil change, the vehicle in question has been driven 3,miles Vehicles cannot run for extended periods without proper lubrication When Delta Sonic inspected the vehicle, the oil filter and drain plug were both found to be tight and dry Without any evidence of external leaks, the only possibility is an internal oil consumption issue which would not be related to our service

Our records indicate the complainant met with our District Manager on 6/6/ The complainant was shown video evidencing the damage was present prior to the Car Wash In the interest of customer goodwill, an authorization for a courtesy buff was also mailed to the customer Once the customer receives the authorization letter, the appointment can be made with the Detail Shop

We fully understand the customers concerns and have carefully considered this complaint Our preliminary investigation indicates it is highly unlikely the damage in question was a result of the services performed at Delta Sonic If you feel we have not assessed your claim fairly, please contact our office to schedule an appointment with our Site Supervisor to inspect the vehicle Be assured Delta Sonic will work hard to resolve all customer claims

The complainant can forward the written estimate We will process fair cost reimbursement to the complainant as determined by an independent insurance adjuster

We have completed our investigation and have determined that we did not contribute to the complainant's damages The complainant returned to our location approximately hours after passing through our Car Wash tunnel to report the alleged damage No claim was presented at the time of their visit, nor did any employees notice the damage upon the complainant's vehicle at our drying station Our digital video also shows the complainant's vehicle exiting the Car Wash with the rear brake light intact In addition to these findings, 1,vehicles passed through the Car Wash tunnel on the same day with no similar reported incidents A copy of the video has also been provided to the complainant's attorney Due to these facts, we must respectfully deny this claim

Our records indicate the complainant was contacted by our Detail Shop Manager and he will be returning to the location for a refund and any needed touch-ups

Our records indicate the complainant has an appointment with our District Manager on 6/6/15, to view our digital video showing the damage was present prior to the Car Wash

The Director of Loss Prevention & Security outlined to the customer the reasons the trespass notice was issued After discussion with the customer, the trespass notice has been revoked

The reimbursement check was mailed to the address provided on 3/15/ If the claimant would like, we will issue a stop payment on the check that was issued and he can return to the location for reimbursementIf this is acceptable, please advise so that we may issue a stop payment and advise location management that the customer will be returning for reimbursement

Our adjuster has reached out to Kristen, the service adviser at Peake BMW and left a message for her He is currently awaiting a call back from Kristen

The company states it was not at fault in these incidents I will wait to hear a reply from them They were most courteous Thank you [redacted] ***

At this time, our preliminary investigation indicates the affected area was previously coated with some sort of paint that is not original to the vehicle It appears that the foreign substance that was previously applied was incompatible with the surface, causing a lack of adhesion leading to the eventual flaking Our records indicate the complainant has an appointment with the District Manager on 7/15/to have the damage inspected and the claim re-evaluated

Please provide your claim number so that we may look into this matter If a claim has not been filed, please return to the location at your convenience to file a claim so that we may fully investigate this alleged incident Thank you

We apologize for any misunderstanding however; the service menu that was presented to the customer prior to the service clearly details exactly what is included with the Oil Change Although we cannot offer a refund for the filters, as they are currently installed in the customer's vehicle, in the interest of customer goodwill, we would be happy to send a Delta Sonic Gift Card for the disputed amount of $ Please notify us if this offer is acceptable and we will gladly send a Gift Card to the customer's address
