I am very disappointed that Delta Sonic does not want to take care of thisI picked my truck up at the dealership on a Tuesday and brought it through their car wash on Friday I am very meticulous with my vehicles, especially that I have only had for days Before I went to Delta that Friday I installed the new floor mats in the truck at my residence and walked around the vehicle several times I know the damage was not there prior to washing it I then noticed it as soon as I got home after washing it when I walked by that side of the truck I immediately called the business and was told that all I had to do was return to meet with a wash manager to submit a claim I returned Saturday morning, which the person I spoke to said was okay to do The wash manager filled out the claim with me and took several photos of the truck I called customer service the following Friday and was advised that they would probably not cover the damage because it looked like shopping cart damage After that conversation I went to a local grocery store and took a photo of a cart next to the damaged spot on my truck I then returned to Delta Sonic and met with the site manager He agreed that a cart could not have done the damage that was on my vehicle We finished the meeting process which he said was the next step in the claim anyway We also both agreed that the damage was probably not from inside the car wash but from human that occurred as I was entering, by the employee with the spray wand, or of the employees that dried and detailed my truck Both of those employees were standing on boxes to reach the middle of the hood and the windshield and leaning over the damaged area of the fender They say they have several cameras at every location for just this reason If they can show me that the damage was on the veh before it got to the car wash then I would happily admit that I was wrong but they have offered no such evidence The rest of my vehicle is spotless and now I have a large scratch and chunk of paint missing in a very noticeable area thank you for your time and efforts

At this time, our preliminary investigation indicates it is very unlikely the damage in question was caused at Delta Sonic Our records indicate a courtesy Scratch Repair Service was completed at our Detail Shop on 10/12/ This service was offered as a customer courtesy and did not constitute acceptance of liability for any portion of the original claim.If the claimant feels we have not assessed the claim fairly, they may contact our office to schedule an appointment with our Area Manager Be assured, Delta Sonic will work hard to resolve all customer problems

It is the goal of Delta Sonic Carwash Systems to provide excellent customer service to each and every customerWe go to great lengths to ensure each customer is provided goods and / or services above and beyond our customers’ expectations In review of your prior visits to our Crestwood location, it has become quite evident that we are unable to meet your customer expectationsThere have been numerous reports of dissatisfaction and also reports of derogatory comments made to our employee's The Manager on Duty as well as the Detail Shop Supervisor inspected the vehicle after the service on the date in question The Manager and Supervisor each confirmed that the service was performed properly and up to Delta Sonic's standardsAs we have several reports of this complainant making claims to receive free services, we cannot offer a refund at this time

We appreciate the customers concerns regarding this incident however; our investigation and visual inspection by our Site Supervisor strongly indicates that the damage was the result of a pre-existing condition Normally the paint finish on a vehicle, if properly applied and in sound condition, will not be affected by the Car Wash or pre-spray process The only time a problem may occur is when the paint has lost adhesion creating a peeling, bubbled or flaking condition.Although the primary cause of damage may be one of these pre-existing conditions, in the interest of customer goodwill, we are willing to issue a check to the customer in the amount of $in the event the damage was further aggravated at Delta Sonic

Hello, I am not seeking a free oil change. I would like an explanation as to why the oil change was not done and, more importantly, why a Delta Sonic employee deceived me instead of simply admitting that the oil change had not been done. Although Delta Sonic is not an insurance company, they have a claims department that handles damages to customer properties when a loss occursBased on this, they should be abiding by state law rules when it comes to handling property insurance lossesThe state laws for insurance state that when someone causes damages to ones property, the owner of that property is able to seek reimbursement from the responsible party which would include repair cost or full replacement of that propertyReimbursement for the damages property goes to the propertt ownerThe property owner shall be made whole againReimbursement for repairs of the damaged property does not required to go the an actual repair facilityThe actual repair facility is not the owner of the property.In this case, I took my vehicle to a Delta Sonic car washAn employee caused damage to the front driver side doorPhotos of this damage was takenA preliminary estimate can be written off of those photosThe damage to the driver side door was minorA check to the property owner (in this case that would be me [redacted] ) should be issued directly to meI at the time of the incident was the owner of the Lexus NXIt is not required by state law for a check for the damages to go directly to a repair shop nor is it required for me to have my vehicle repaired & provide proof of a receiptLiability is not in question hereDelta Sonic has accepted liability & has agreed to pay for the damagesDelta Sonic is not following the rules for acting as an insurance claim department

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below This company is totally unprofessional, sending me a letter explaining that I have been already issued a refund back to my credit card from the location of serviceThat was a lieI had to call in atleast more times and explained to the customer service as they wont even listen to me, explaining to me that I have to wait for the refund to be processed back to the credit cardSo the location that served me didn't process it and the letter mentioned that I already have been reimbursedFinally before responding here they issued a check, which is again totally different to the letter that they sent meI am tired of this whole situation and I would like to bring to attention that because of a complete unprofessional job and unprofessional behaviour I am left with a hefty fee of about $to get my windshield replacedFor a chip that was not bigger than an inch, hardly visible, it has grown folds now Regards, [redacted] ***

The service refund check was mailed 2/23/ As per the waiver signed by the customer, Delta Sonic will only refund for the windshield chip repair

The customer can contact our Unlimited Department at 1-800-THE-KISS and speak with a representative to determine if the plan can be reinstated at a discounted rate

We have thoroughly investigated the circumstances concerning the incident reported Our conveyor is specifically designed to make it practically impossible to damage a tire as described on the customer's claim The only way a tire might become damaged is if a section of the metal conveyor rail is broken, causing a protruding sharp edge Our manager has assured us his inspection of the rail did not reveal this condition to be present Certainly if it were, other vehicles on the line would have had similar damage In the past, our investigations have revealed that damage such as that described in the claim, was the result of curb or pothole contact In the interest of customer goodwill, we will make arrangements to have the tire replaced through our Oil Change & Maintenance Department, at our Main Stlocation Please expect a phone call from our Supervisor to make arrangements for the replacement

We have fully reviewed the details of this complaint In order for damage to occur, we feel strongly that a pre-existing condition was the initial cause of the problem Our equipment is designed so that the support arm of any vehicle will clear easily In order for for a support arm to become damaged, the vehicle's support arm must be unusually low to the ground or have prior damage This is usually due to worn shocks, a rust weakened condition, vehicle modifications or inadequate repairs We wash thousands of vehicles every month without incidentIn the event a pre-existing condition was further aggravated as a result of the service at Delta Sonic, we would be willing to issue partial payment towards the repair Please forward a repair estimate for review purposes

We appreciate the customer's concerns however; after video review, it was determined that the drain plug was properly torqued and secured in the oil pan at the time of the service We have had a copy of the digital video mailed to The Warranty Group and this should be covered for the customer under warranty

Our records indicate repairs were completed at Midway Dodge, and paid for in full by Delta Sonic Although we cannot offer any type of monetary compensation, we would be happy to have complimentary Delta Sonic Gift Cards mailed to the complainant for any inconvenience caused

The repair remains approved for the damage caused at Delta Sonic The only damage that will not be covered, is the damage that is not related to the customer's claimWe have attached a copy of the repair approval Once the work is complete, we will pay the repair facility directly

We have thoroughly investigated the circumstances concerning the incident that was reported We fully appreciate the customers concerns A vehicle, even slightly coated with road dirt or film, will usually obscure most pre-existing damage on the finish We realize the first time a person may notice, what they feel is new damage, is while inspecting a vehicle that has just been cleaned It is understandable for any customer to feel that this newly discovered damage may have been caused by some part of the Car Wash procedure or drying of the finish Since our toweling material and wiping method have been proven safe and reliable, we feel the vehicle's damage was incurred by some other means and went unnoticed prior to the services Certainly, if the towels caused the damage in question, there would be an excellent chance the damage would have been repeated in other areas of the vehicleIf the claimant feels the claim was not assessed fairly, please contact our office to schedule an appointment with an Area Manager to inspect the vehicle at the location where the claim was filed
