Delta Sonic has a higher rate for Commercial vehicles of which Uber and Lyft fit into that category If a plan is sold to one of these types of vehicles it is usually because the customer was not displaying the markings on the vehicle that denote it as an Uber or Lyft Once we do notice the markings, we inform the customer that they are going to have to sign into a commercial plan in order for them to continue being an unlimited customer If after a time, the customer refuses to convert their plan it is discontinued so that it will no longer be active after the current billed month We have been unable to further investigate this particular plan, because the customer did not supply their account information We would generally do a refund for a customer if they were not able to use a plan and did not receive a value for the plan at the time of cancellation However if the term of the plan ended at the end of a billing cycle, and the customer was able to use that plan until the end of their term then we would not do a refund Again we would be happy to look into this further if the customer account information was supplied for investigation If we did not meet certain conditions then the customer may be entitled to further compensation

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I am very upset that this has happenedWhile this is a Delta Sonic we've never been to because it's far from our home, I do expect the damage to be taken care of according to the estimate we providedTo say that there is absolutely no way that this could have happened at their business is an untrue statementNo place is and no one is above accidents happeningThat's why we have precautions and insurance for those unforeseen and unexpected occurrencesI wish we weren't in a hurry to get to our doctors office and that we were healthy enough to stay and deal with this stuffWe showed our Sonic here in our areaWe also have seen that there have been other very similar complaints onlineIt seems to me from looking into those complaints, that Sonic is getting away with not taking care of their customers and tell them they will see you in claims court and you'd better get a lawyer! I have never been treated so badly at any business! I know, that I know, that I know, that the scratches all over my vehicle are from the car washThe scratches are long, not able to be buffed out and my front passenger window needs to be replacedIt is very upsetting to me to feel like there is no one with any integrity anymore and to be spoken to in a rude mannerSomething happened to my car in the wash, I reported it and get treated as though I'm imagining itPlease, someone do the right and honest thing Regards, [redacted]

We have re-evaluated the customer's claim Our findings have reinforced our position that the damage in question is not consistent with any of the services provided at Delta Sonic This was confirmed by first hand inspection by our Site Supervisor We appreciate the customer's concerns and apologize for any inconvenience but must stand on our original judgment of denying responsibility for this claim

Delta Sonic was willing to replace the customer's wheel however; the customer advised us that he was retaining an attorney At this point, we are awaiting contact from said attorney

Our Director of Loss Prevention & Security reached out to the customer on 11/19/and discussed the situation in question

Sonic found a dishonest way to not pay the billThey claim that they will only pay what they wantAlso know as in Sonic's terms of fair market valueThat is false, Sonic determines what they feel they should pay and call it fair market! Sonic's determination of fair market value by claiming that the parts to repair damages should be used parts obtained from a junk yard to keep the price downThis is rediculas and all Sonic customers should know that if their vehicle gets damaged, that Sonic will not pay for a proper repairSonic's claim department claim guy was extremely rude and short temporeded It was a very frustrating experience and all Sonic customers should know what to expect if their vehicle gets damagedSonic customers should know that Sonic will not pay for your vehicle to be repaired properlyThat's the truth and that's the bottom lineThey would only correspond this information over the phone Sonic claims guy was smart enough to NOT put that information in a email but that is exactly what transpired and I have documented it in my claim to youSo Sonic will divert the real issue with making statements that they would payWhat they are not telling you is that they will only pay for used partsThey know that it would cost the consumer more to sue them than it would be for the customer to just pay the bill to have their vehicle repaired properly with new partsWho wants their car fixed with junk parts? All Sonic customers need to know this

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience you may have been caused We appreciate your concerns and have carefully considered this complaint.Although our investigation indicates the damage in question was not caused as a result of the service at Delta Sonic, a letter authorizing a courtesy buff-out/scratch repair service was sent to the complainant on 9/19/ An appointment can be scheduled with Delta Sonic's Detail Shop to have this issue remedied To avoid any misunderstanding, please remember, this service is being offered as a customer courtesy and does not constitute acceptance of liability for any portion of the original claim If this offer is not acceptable, please contact our office to arrange a meeting with our Corporate General Manager

Our records show that our repair coordinator left a message for the complainant at the phone number provided on 4/25/at 1:pm A letter was also mailed to the address provided on 4/25/ The complainant can forward an estimate for repair to our office and we will make repair arrangements with the chosen facility

Thank you for your patience while our office reviewed information concerning this complaint We value our customers and careful consideration is given to all customer problemsDelta Sonic's inspection program is in full compliance with New York State's inspection guidelines Please see the attached document from section G of the NYS inspectors manual A vehicle should not pass inspection if any mirror is not securely mounted The complainant's mirror was attached with duct tape, which is not considered a secure mount Although we cannot process a refund, we will mail complimentary coupons for any inconvenience that may have been caused

We appreciate the customer's concerns regarding the damage in question. After our investigation and a diagnosis by a third party automotive service center, it was determined that the vehicle's oil pan was rusted which caused the damage in question. We have attached a copy of the... diagnosis from [redacted] 's Automotive outlining the diagnosis results.

Approx years ago, out unlimited plan changed to Per our terms and conditions that have been printed in brochure form with all plans, we reserved the right to do so Delta Sonic did however try to extend discounts to certain customers A customer that would qualify for a discount would be someone who is considered to be a low user Discounts extended are at different levels but would be consistent with customers of similar low usage We give a customer between and days notice that their plan is increasing Notice would be shown on the screen of the Superlane (our automated system for tag holders) A customer has to press a button to acknowledge and move on It is also shown on their receipts during that time frame If a customer did not happen to use our services during that time and therefor did not receive notification, we would be happy to refund the additional payment amount received; at which time we would supply notification of the increased price for the following month Delta Sonic evaluates all plans on an individual basis and extends discounted prices on a per plan basis, which is why one plan may show an increase up to and including the full price of the plan while another plan price may not change

We appreciate and understand the complainant’s feelings on
this matter, but unfortunately must stand behind our assessment that this
damage did not occur at Delta Sonic
Our investigation and visual inspection by the Site
Supervisor indicates the damage in question is not consistent with the
service
performed at Delta Sonic. The
complainant also reported to the Site Supervisor that the pre-spray wand came
in contact with his vehicle causing the damage however; our digital video shows
that the wand does not make contact with the vehicle both times it passes
through. Furthermore; the Car Wash
equipment is so designed that there is no part of it that operates in such a
way as to cause the damage in question.
The equipment is cloth based and could not cause deep scratches to one
limited area.
Although we cannot accept liability on this claim, as a
gesture of customer goodwill, we can make arrangements for a complimentary Scratch
Repair and Paint TouService at our Detail Shop. This service should help remedy the damage in
question. Please advise our office if
this offer is satisfactory and we will make arrangements

The clerk inside delta Sonic refunded the car wash money that dayThe resolution I'm looking for is that DS updates/modifies/changes the software in the pumps so that this doesn't keep happeningAccording to the clerk this happens all the timeConsumer rip off!
