Mercari develops a better way to screen their sellers for counterfeit products and find a way to ban them from selling.

We attempt to moderate all listings and remove any Prohibited Items. However, we're unable to review every single listing posted on Mercari. Because of this, we rely heavily on members of the Mercari community to report inappropriate or Prohibited Items. In this instance the prohibited item was found and removed as soon as it came to the attention of our moderation team.

According to Mercari’s Terms of Service Article 2. User Registration; Account Information: Users “are only able to register for one account.” It also states that “Mercari may choose in its sole discretion not to approve your account registration if:… (iii) you have had a previous Mercari account terminated or suspended; or (iv) Mercari otherwise determines that your account registration would be inappropriate.”
They are ineligible for reinstatement.

If you are a Seller and have transactions in process that have been shipped, we will allow you to complete your transactions so your buyers can receive their items and you can receive your funds. Your account will stay on suspension until your buyers have verified that they have received their items and rated you. At that time, you will be able to request a Direct Deposit to have the funds sent to your bank account. When all your transactions and Direct Deposits are completed, we will delete your account. Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
Although I can now list items for sale, they do not show up in any search.  Mercari has found a loophole with my request of reinstatement.  The only way my items can be viewed is after a great deal of digging.  My items do not show up in chronological order like other listings when the search is set to "newest" or even "best match" when the exact title is put in.  After listing 19 items for sale, none had any views until I had a few friends search and search for my items, only then did anything get seen.  If my items cannot be seen they cannot be sold. 
After asking on Mercari support why this was the case, I received information that had no bearing or even actually answered my question, it was just a copy and paste manuscript they use repeatedly.  After which they closed my questions as "resolved" without giving me a chance to get real answers or even speak to a real person.  Sincerely,[redacted]
