Neville called prior to arrival He outlined what he was going to do and explained service charges He was extremely polite and explained all documents that I had to sign He cleaned the outside of generator prior to departure

Greg Tcame out for the electrical portion of our home care inspection We had a few requests for estimates (replacement of smoke detectors, some general electrical repairs, exterior motion sensor lights, attic fans) and some general questions Greg was very thorough and knowledgeable; he talked us through alternatives, with pros and cons We will be asking for Greg specifically when we do the work

I had a clogged kitchen sink and do to a ruptured disk, could not clear itI called Michael and Son to clear itPlumber Mike J responded and cleared the clogHe also checked the rest of my plumbing and found my main shut-off valve was leaking and my house water pressure was too high which caused my pipes to make a knocking sound whenever I turned off any valve in the houseMike installed two new shut-off valves and a pressure reducing valveHe also recommended I use Bio-Clean to help keep my pipes openI no longer hear that awful knocking sound and all of my drains are clearThanks Michael and Son for a professional and friendly serviceMy service agreement was really worth itDavid

Had our duct cleaning done in our single family home by Kevin C*** and Timothy R*** Both were kind, courteous, professional, knowledgeable and got the job done as scheduled They were careful and considerate of all of our possessionsI would definitely highly recommend them for duct cleaning!

I am rejecting this response because:
As I stated in the text of my 1/12/email to Vance S*** of Michael & Son (below), the objective of my complaint is NOT to have the issue resolved on my behalf. After being refused emergency service during a major emergency in my home, I have no intention of doing business with Michael & Son again. The purpose of my complaint is to alert the Revdex.com that hour emergency services that are being advertised are not being provided. This is purely an advertising matter. The company must have staff on call to provide the services that are being advertised. The objective of my complaint is to request that the Revdex.com work with Michael & Son to ensure that the company is staffed to provide the advertised 24 hour emergency services for future consumers. I am asking the Revdex.com to act in the protection of OTHER consumers. I seek no personal gain from this matter. I expressed this objective in my original complaint. Therefore, the company needs to advise the Revdex.com (not me) of the actions taken since my complaint to ensure that the company is sufficiently staffed to provided the hour emergency services that it advertises. Hello MrS***, I provided a detailed account of my 1/11/experience on your company web site yesterday (copy attached for your reference). I also spent time explaining the situation to Malcolm yesterday when he called me. As I explained to Malcolm, the failure of your company to provide me with emergency services as advertised during an emergency that could have caused major damage to my home has destroyed my trust in your company. I will no longer do business with your company. My objective in notifying your company (and the Revdex.com) of the situation is to bring attention to a problem that needs to be corrected if you plan to continue to advertise that you provide hour emergency services. You must have staff on call to provide the hour emergency services that you are advertising. During my emergency, I was told by two different Michael & Son employees that the company did not have anyone on call who could handle my emergency situation until Tuesday, 1/13. This is unacceptable. I appreciate the attempts that your company is making now to understand my compliant, etc. However, the bottom line is that I had an emergency that could have caused major damage to my home and Michael & Son failed to provide emergency services to me as advertised. Thankfully, I was able to obtain emergency services from another plumbing service to quickly resolve the situation and prevent major damage to my home. However, being left in limbo by Michael & Son during an emergency is not something that I will overlook in order to continue to do business with your company. I encourage your team to take the necessary steps to correct the operational flaws in the delivery of emergency services to prevent any other consumers from experiencing such rejection during an emergency. The technicians that have come to our house on a number of occasions have all been very professional and knowledgeable They have either repaired what was requested or done complete inspections of our equipment to assure that everything is in working order We are very pleased with their work

In response to ID# ***Thank you for allowing us to respond to our customer's concernMichael and Son arrived to *** ***'s residence and did a visual inspection of the conditions of her homeWe provided an estimate of work that would need to performed in which she declined our servicesOn our Michael and Son Service invoice there is an approved line which she paid the $d/f which is our standard trip charge plumbing servicesIn addition, when the initial call is setup the customer is aware of the $d/f before we set up the appointment There is a declined line where she declined the work of the installation of her supplied faucet the repair of the CPVC Water Line, the angle stop valve with the supply line and the stems for faucetThe last line is the Future Recommendation of our Home Care Agreement which is optional membership and mainly refers to our Heat and Air Conditioning Services, which is not included in the price of the repairMichael and Son Services apologizes that we were not able to further assist in the repairs of our customer's home, but we were fair in providing our recommendations and the steps needed to take to provide the service she requestedTherefore, we believe the $d/f was in good faith fair since we did come to her home and provide the necessary recommendationsWe offered her the corrections and she turned us down
