Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The product that Microsoft is selling has known defects It may have a day warranty, but there have been millions of controllers sold that suffer from the same problem It isn't right that Microsoft is allowed to sell a product with a known defect and force people to purchase replacements every 4-months Microsoft should extend their warranty on controllers similar to how they extended the warranty on the Xbox 360.Sincerely, [redacted]

Dear [redacted] , Thank you for contacting Microsoft Corporation via the Revdex.com regarding your Xbox One Elite controller issueAfter reviewing your service request number ( [redacted] ) it appears you were in contact with one of our Xbox customer service agents on 12/ Our agent correctly stated that your Elite controller is out of warranty and you have already been provided a one-time out of warranty replacement in May Our agent is also correct in stating your only option at this point would be to purchase a new Xbox One Elite controllerMicrosoft now considers this case closed and will no longer be respondingPlease refer to the snipped quotes below from the Microsoft Services Agreement, Section 9, part (g) and the Xbox One console and device warranty, Section 1, part (g): “We reserve the right to issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion.” “’Warranty Period’ for Xbox One means year from the date You purchased it; and for Accessories, means days from the date You purchased it.” (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/servicesagreement) (http://support.xbox.com/en-US/my-account/warranty-and-service/console-kinect-wa... Revdex.com:Sincerely, [redacted] I really don't but at this point it doesn't look like they are going to live up to there part of having a service that worksI am going to sell my xbox one its games and move to another system due to the lack of support I receivedSo if losing a customer that has spent over on there service and buys a game once every two weeks isn't worth them having some sort of resolution then I accept no longer having an Xbox service and then losing my business

Complaint: [redacted] NOTE: This response contains personal information that the Revdex.com has promised to edit out before posting online.I am rejecting this response because: My account with Skype was originally opened with this email address: [redacted] My current email address is ***-***@comcast.net When I sign in, I see two different account names: ***s and [redacted] , but they both show up I want any Skype credit from the [redacted] address or from my earlier use of the comcast address to be transferred so it's accessible when I sign in with the comcast address (Before, I could sign in using either address but now only the comcast address works) If Skype can't do this, it should at least refund the Skype credit to my credit card (Skype seems to have no trouble accessing my credit card, interestingly enough.) I've already contacted Skype Customer Service, but the rep never answered my questions about the credit issue and never told me why the original verification questionnaire was rejected I feel like I'm getting quite the runaround from Skype Please, just fix the problem! Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2014/07/21) */ Dear ***, My name is [redacted] and I work for Skype Customer Relations OfficeMy duties include responding to customer complaints I received your complaint from Revdex.com that you have experienced issues with SkypeI'm very sorry to read that and I will gladly assist you further Upon checking our records we can see that your Skype account was accessed by a third party who used your Skype credit for calls and SMS messages This indicates to a malware in the system of PC/ devices you have used Skype on or easy to guess Skype account password Choosing a secure password to access your Skype account is crucialHackers use lists of common passwords to access accounts (not only on Skype but across all websites)It is therefore critical that you use a strong, unique password Viruses can damage your computer and collect your private data, regardless of whether you are using Skype or notAvoid this by following these tips: Most viruses these days come in the form of email attachments so don't open attachments from people you don't know, or suspicious-looking attachments even from people you knowWhen in doubt, always contact the sender to confirm the email is legitimate, even if it looks harmless (such as an e-card or funny picture) at first sight The reason we blocked your Skype account in the first place, is to make sure that the fraudsters cannot continue to make calls, which could result in additional cost on your Skype accountOur usual policy is that will remove the restriction form a Skype account as soon as we have done a few security/identity checks, to make sure we open the account for the rightful owner and not for the fraudstersThe necessary checks after an incident like that include the verification of some of your payment details as well as the necessity to change your Skype account password First of all, I strongly suggest you to check the devices you use Skype onSome malware isn't easy to tracePlease make sure the systems are clean I'm happy to help you out with the manual verification in order to help you restore access on your Skype account For verification we require the following information: the total cost of the recent purchase order date of that purchase order (DD/MM/YY) the payment method used to pay for the recent purchase order (credit card, [redacted] other, never paid) two numbers they have recently called from Skype or Five Skype names from their contact list the email address they used when they first registered with Skype If you feel uncomfortable providing this information through Revdex.com, please feel free to contact me directly and providing the information to ***@skype.net As stated in the Skype Terms of Use Paragraph Your Obligations (http://www.skype.com/en/legal/tou/#6): Your Information: From time to time, Skype may request information from you for the purpose of supplying the Software or Products to youYou shall ensure that any such information is complete, up-to-date and accurate I hope this response has been helpful We apologise for any possible inconveniences caused by this I appreciate your patience and understanding Kind regards, [redacted] Customer Relations Office Skype Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2014/07/24) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
