Midway Nissan Reviews (383)

I was treated very well and had a nice sales rep she was very friendly and did not put any pressure on me. It took a couple days for me to finalize the deal with them but in the end I got what I wanted.

[redacted] was great to work with but the rest of the experience was horrible. I went in and [redacted] helped me find my car. After a bit, a deal was reattached and I put a down payment down. I had to do the financing in a few days due to my work hours. I came back in two days later with the internet posting showing the car for $2000 less than the deal I made and they said it was due to the inspection fee. I still went though with the deal but it took over 4 hours to make the deal. I was pre approved from my insurance company for a 2.24 rate and they wanted to offer me a better deal which they did but it took over 4 hours just to do the financing. The guy who did the financing made error such as having the price of the car in the paperwork over $500 more than the agreed price so the paperwork had to be redone more than once. I do not understand why in total I spent over 10 hours to test drive, make a deal, and buy a car when I already knew what I wanted. I love my new car, buy the process was to long and makes me never want to go back to make a deal there.

this is the email I'd like to share I had sent the GM of Midway Nissan:

Good morning- I just tried to speak with you on the phone as I was trying to make this a bit more personal. However this will do. What I wanted to express to you was the fact that my purchase and now service experience at your dealership was out standing! I had a hellish car buying experience a few years back with Sands and this time around with you all has renewed my faith that someone can get it right! I was in this morning to get my first oil change and everyone had their acts together!!!! Whatever you are doing it’s working! I love my car and now I have a place I know I will be taken care of. A friend and I are going to Vegas this weekend, she’s in the market for a vehicle…I am going to have her drive my Altima and then get her over to your place to purchase one!

Thank you very much!!

[redacted], the Customer Service Manager is the greatest thing to happen to the automobile industry since the invention of the internal combustion engine!

Seriously.. she does an incredible job. I bought my last car from Midway Nissan, have had all my service done with [redacted], and in a year or two when I buy my next car, my preference will be to buy it where [redacted] will be handling the service.

Thank you [redacted]. You have done a great job servicing my car for 60K miles!

I recently purchased a Nissan Rouge SV. The first time I went to the dealer, I was greeted by the sale manager Rita and she was very friendly and got me a sales representative right away. I told the sale representative Cindy, that I was only there to see what you had. I saw what I was looking for and told her I would be back the next day. I got a great price and felt very comfortable with the total experience. Just one thing, there was not enough financial people to accommodate all the people waiting to buy cars. Don't get me wrong, that is a good thing.

While opinions will always vary, mine is no different. I have been the guy who had a low credit score, who was a high risk, and who had to spend it all just to get into a pre-owned vehicle to fix my credit. My most recent experience was not that case. My experience differed when I went from looking for a [redacted] to owning a new [redacted].
I arrived at 3pm, as scheduled, and met the internet sales guy Jose for about 8 seconds before handing me to [redacted], my sales rep. [redacted] and I spent some time chatting about my current trade, the payoff, discussed the inspection, and then headed out to check the lot. I knew I wanted out of a car and into a truck. Who knew it would be an SUV?
Now, the first thing to know about going to a dealership is arrive when they first open, otherwise you are there as they are locking up. Buying a car is no longer a 90 minute process. It hasn't been for at least 10 years. If you are going to a dealership, plan for a 6 hour adventure, and finish your meal as you are pulling up. In & Out was my last meal in my old car.
As for Midway Nissan in particular, [redacted] was outstanding. He showed me all around the lot, TWICE at my request as we were looking for the perfect ride. Started in a [redacted] 4x4, and ended in an [redacted], test drove both. Once [redacted] and I had it all figured out, the dance began. I was at the low end, [redacted] at the other end. After about 15 minutes of honest and casual conversation in the leather chairs of the lounge area, we hit an agreed price and down payment.
That was all the quick stuff. Now comes the wait. After two episodes of [redacted] on the TV in their lounge area, [redacted] was ready for me. After reviewing all of the additional packages and pricing, and declining on all counts, [redacted] was still looking for a way to get the final payment lower to build in the gap insurance to keep me at the arranged price. My budget was extremely important to me, and he understood that. Never before has a service been willing to adjust their costs to afford me an extra service.
When it was all said and done, at 9:03pm. the last of my items were moved from the old car to the new, and [redacted] even stuck around, at this point 3 hours after his shift had already ended, and even climbed into the SUV with me to go over a few features, inspect for any possible issues that the Service dept might have to address, and connected my cell phone to the Blue-tooth connection in the car. Now, I can make and receive calls without ever taking my eyes off the road. Press a button on the steering wheel and speak like normal.
While most Dealership visits are seldom fun, and often keep us up way past our usual bed time, every once in awhile, you find a group of people who want to help you accomplish your goal in getting out of the old car, and into the new one. [redacted], and [redacted] did more than any other dealership team I have ever experienced. I was offered something to eat, provided with a cold bottled water before my current one was empty, allowed to relax in the lounge and watch TV while they did all the hard stuff.
I would absolutely recommend Midway Nissan (which is exactly 53 miles from my home in [redacted]) to ANYONE who has decent credit (above 625), a small down payment, and the time to spend with a group of people who are not just serious about sales, but serious about people too. Call today and ask for [redacted]. He works 6 days a week and was an absolute pleasure to do business with.

I absolutely dread dealing with car dealerships!! But the staff of Midway Nissan, [redacted] and [redacted] were extremely friendly and accommodating. It was a pleasure doing business with them. They explained everything in detail and went above and beyond to better the deal as the evening progressed. By the time we left, I was extremely car we purchased and the terms and interest rate. Thank you Midway NIssan.

I went to midway nissan and found the car I wanted and the whole experience has been positive one I would recommend going there they were very knowledgable friendly and professional I drove away with the xterra I wanted and have sleeping very well ( no buyers regret)

I had the ultimate car buying experience with Midway Nissan.. Everyone there was very pleasant and went out of their way to make sure my son and I were comfortable and pleased with my vehicle of choice. [redacted] was an awesome sales representative. And [redacted] is awesome at financing!! Thank Midway Nissan, I will defiantly be recommending you to all my family and friends!

[redacted] was the best car salesman that I have ever had to deakl with. He was not only very courtous and polite. The deatails of our dealwhere done in very understanding

I just bought my first car from Midway Nissan and I plan on buying all my cars from them. Every employee I interacted with was very pleasant and warm.

Since I work in the medical field, which is customer service based I feel it's important to express postive when it is deserved. Midaway Nissan, definitly deserves cudos for their customer service. I was treated as if I was their only customer. More importantly, I was treated with respect and at no point did I feel pressured. As a female, it can be intimidating to have any interaction when it comes to vehicles. This certainly was not the case with [redacted], my sales rep and [redacted] the Finance Manager. I have already recommended 2 friends to Midway!

I thankfully stumbled on Scott S[redacted] at Midway Nissan after a poor experience at a Nissan dealer SE of Midway. Scott was absolutely fantastic to work with. He truly wanted to work with me to help me achieve what I wanted. There was no pressure, only his assistance. He was straightforward and had a very no-nonsense attitude. There was no wheeling and dealing, no shady, mind numbing dialog or any tricky tactics; similar to what I had experience at other locations. Overall, it was a great experience with Scott at Miday Nissan. I have already referred a few co-workers to Scott and would/will utilize Scott again in the future.

I also have to give props to Justin from their sales department. As Scott had an infant at home, we told him to go home while we waited (and waited) for the finance office to do our paperwork, Justin stayed with me till a little before 11 PM and made sure I was sorted out and on my way home. A+

Love this dealership and I would definitely recommend it to family and friends. I went in looking for a specific vehicle and they took me right to it. In and out in a matter of hours and I was on my way in my new Juke. [redacted] ~ you ROCK and keep up the good work. Lovin it:)

Very nice people to work with . They get the job done plus extra !

Midway Nissan gave me an excellent experience they have exceptional customer service, and also gave me a great deal on my new car!!

Review: Purchased Nissan Versa from Midway Nissan in 2013, got loan through First credit Union, received invoice from First Credit stating car had options that were not included on vehicle including premium sound system, power windows and doors multi disc CD player, none of these options are present on car. Had to contact credit union and dealership and have price of car changed and loan rewritten to reflect lack of premium options. went to see about trading in car to find out loan buy out is 11,600 and value of vehicle is below 4,000 dollars. I was told dealer possibly set loan amount based on car with all premium equipment, car does not have power windows or doors, no tilt steering, no power seats, no premium sound, no power mirrors. I would like car re-evaluated for worth when purchased and new loan written reflecting actual value of vehicle. Company who sold me the car also claims I added on additional coverage such as paint and tires warranties, the only extra coverage I agreed to was the extended warranty and gap insurance.Desired Settlement: Re-write loan for actual value of car,

Review: I, [redacted], and my daughter [redacted] went to Midway Nissan located at [redacted] on July 1st, 2015 .We explained how we would come back another day that we just wanted to see what Nissan Altima were the ones being advertised over the radio. They didn't show us any with the $11,995 price that was being advertised. Before walking away [redacted] the sales representative showed us a 2012 Altima that had 90,000 miles. It was listed at $13,000, so we decided to ask what was the lowest they would sell that vehicle. They explained the lowest would be $11,200. We ended up in the financial services area signing some papers that [redacted], the financial manager, was explaining as we were signing. He explained how the total cost as going to be $13,550 with the taxes and the plates. We ended up leaving the dealership at 11:30PM! We just wanted to get home! We did not receive a car that night because the car needed a new windshield. The next day my mom calls asking if the car was ready as they promised. They explained that it is was not because there is more auto parts that need to be ordered. At this point I was confused because we were told the only thing the car needed repaired was the windshield and some air in the tires. July 3rd I noticed the papers had $15,217.33 instead of the $13,550, that we had agreed on. I end up going to the dealership with my daughter in law [redacted]. I explained how I did not want the car because they did not respect what we had agreed on. Let alone the car was not in the conditions they had explained to us. Midway Nissan manager explains how there is NOTHING we can do. So we walk out and try to seek advice from others to see what we can do. On July 5th, 2015 [redacted], the financial manager left my daughter a voicemail explaining how we were approved for the bank loan that we needed to come in to sign the finalized loan documents. He stressed that the documents were time sensitive. That it could cause us to lose our approval. We did not end up going back to the dealership because I was going on vacation. On July 11th, 2015 my daughter and I receive a message while I am out of town stating that the car was sitting outside my house. My daughter calls to ask what is going on and they did not explain anything they just say they would call back. Then I tried calling and the individual who answered the phone was transferring me to the manager then hung up. So today, July 14th, 2015 we have a car sitting outside my house that we have no idea who brought or why it is sitting there. It has no plates and no one was home when it was dropped off. We do not understand how it is possible for them to leave a car sitting outside my house without finishing the loan documents that [redacted], the financial manager, stated. We are so disappointed with Midway Nissan.Desired Settlement: I want no further contact by Midway Nissan and I want them to destroy the incomplete contract between us.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

Worst experience of my life. I spent hours at this place and was sent back and forth for more and more paperwork. After I was told that I was approved at the last minute I was told that I'd need an additional 3000 for my down payment. A huge waste of time. They just took advantage of me and had terrible customer service. I will never buy a car from this place. Ever.

When I entered Midway Nissan, I was a little nervous because of a previous experience with a dealership. [redacted] desk was closest to the door and as I approached he gave me a big smile and said, "How can I help you?" And that is just what [redacted] did. I told him exactly what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay, out the door. He met my high expectations and did it in a very timely manner. The experience of buying a new car changed into an extremely positive adventure. Juan helped me select the program best for me and I was on my way in a beautiful new JUKE.
