I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  My [redacted] card has been credited so I will consider this complaint resolved.
I still believe Midway Nissan engages in Unscrupulous sales practices otherwise I would not have had to file this complaint!

Regards,

I came in on the 7th of October to buy a car and was expecting an all day ordeal but what I thought would take all day ended up taking only 3 hours! Was impressed withe service I received and would definitely come back to buy another car and also recommend midway nissan to friends and family.

The Customer in question was referred to Midway Nissan by multiple sources. [redacted] who is not a salesperson or an employee of Midway Nissan, but a current customer was paid for the referral based on the information that we had from the deal.  It appears that...

Regards,

I do not accept the response of Midway Nissan as it did not address the original complaint. "Buyers remorse" does not address the issues of proper paperwork being filed to complete a contract, misrepresenting the motive when asking me to drive the 2 hours back to the dealership (or misrepresenting...

the true motives once they had me in the office), the extremely heavy handed sales tactics (of which I have witnesses), or the poor customer service skills of not addressing paperwork issues and refusing to give me complete copies of all official documentation regarding the "purchase" of  any kind. The company did lied to me about the details of the contract and paperwork regardless of how they phrase it and then treated me with absolutely no respect after having found out that I did not intend to keep the car.

March 9, 2015We are in receipt of the complaint [redacted] filed with your office. [redacted] was working off of an estimated price from a vehicle he had put together himself online,  Midway Nissan didn’t have that specific vehicle in stock. We had arranged a "dealer trade"...

with another dealership, that dealership sold the vehicle before we were able to obtain it.  We then had to arrange another trade with a different dealer. When [redacted] built his vehicle on line, the "estimated" invoice price was $29,458.00.   The vehicle [redacted] purchased had and MSRP of $35,260.00 and an invoice price of $33,209.00.  [redacted] purchase the vehicle for $29,489.00.  The price listed did not include taxes, tiltle, license and doc fees, as well as any dealer adds.[redacted] came in and all the numbers were broken down for him. At that point there was a $1,300 difference which was for a warranty he purchased. We offered to cancel the warranty but [redacted] declined. We would be happy to sit down with him again and review all of the numbers.Sincerely,[redacted]Compliance Director- Midway Nissan

Hello Revdex.com,

I am not satisfied because all Nissan offered me was a dinner for my family. Two days of my time was wasted at that dealership and I was discriminated against, not because of race or anything of that  nature but because I caught the sales manager in a lie. It is not an issue of customer service it is an issue of morality. I was purposely mislead into thinking that the car they were getting for me was the best financial choice I could make. I found a less expensive car on their own website. Once I brought that up to the Sales Manager, instead of trying to make that deal work, he tried to convince me that the car wasn’t available anymore and that I didn’t qualify for it. He gained my trust by pitching to me this vehicle that is out of my price range and blatantly lied to my face and didn’t have the decency to apologize. I appreciated the fact that they have apologized, but the issue is bigger than that. It makes me wonder about all of the other unfortunate people who have given their trust to Midaway Nissan and have been purposely mislead into debt for the sake of making the most profit. It’s a shame that I had to go to these lengths, but someone needed to shed light on how they are conducting business. Its not only irresponsible as a dealership but its immoral as a human. I thank Midway Nissan for the consideration of the individual that contacted me, but I have returned the call of the GM and have not gotten a response and to be honest I feel he did it for the sake of saying he reached out to me.

Best Regards,

I had a 10:30a.m. appointment and drove from Avondale (26 miles). I had a $19.95 oil change I intended to get, but I refused $800 in up-charge service recommendations. I asked to use the Zycon Paint Sealant which I paid for when I purchased the car - but Andy (service advisor) told me I couldn't get it since the car wasn't already clean. He did say they would clean the outside of the car - but I couldn't use the Zycon sealant then either. This felt to me like double-talk to get out of the dealership honoring the sealant option I paid for. Finally, upon resolving to "only" get my $20 oil change, Andy told me that despite my 10:30a.m. appointment, they wouldn't get to my car until 12:30p.m. This felt to me as spite/retribution for me not spending more during my appointment. I resolved to get my oil changed elsewhere as a result. The "uncharge" sales efforts and refusal to honor the Zycon sealant (whether the car was clean or not) indicates to me exceptionally shifty/shady/disreputable sales practices on Midway Nissan. Consequently, although I love Nissan, I will never purchase from Midway again. And based on my current experience with Midway service, I will specifically recommend anyone to purchase from an alternative Nissan dealership.
