Midway Nissan Reviews (383)

As soon as I pulled in I had someone there to help me! I was greeted by [redacted]. He was great! It was my first time purchasing a car and he helped me a lot. He explained the whole buying process to me which was good because I didn't have much knowledge when I went. He definitely was a big help and met my financial needs. I will definitely be going back in the future when I'm ready to get a new car!

I had the best experience at Midway Nissan this past weekend. [redacted] was my salesman and he did a great job looking for the right vehicle for me. Tony did a great job getting me the best deal and Van was amazing at completing my finances. It was a quick process and I am so happy with my new [redacted].

Review: While shopping for a new car today, I submitted my interest to Midway Nissan for a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder SL. I was immediately contacted by one of their sales representatives, Bryant, whom I ended up having a lengthy text message conversation with. During this conversation, Bryant advised me that he had spoken to this general manager and that they could guarantee me an out-the-door price of $29, 380 for that vehicle. I clarified with Bryant that a) this was the correct out the door price for the 2015 Nissan Pathfinder SL and b) that it included tax, title, and any and all fees. Throughout the course of the conversation, Bryant assured me that we were talking about the same vehicle (going so far as to send me the stock # for the vehicle he was referring to as well as the company's website so that I could view the vehicle) and that the price quoted was the correct out the door price (he repeated it several times). He encouraged me to come to the dealership to view the vehicle, test drive it, and take it home. After much consideration and back-and-forth conversation via text message, I left my young baby at home and drove 30 minutes to the dealership. Once there, I was advised that they had no idea why Bryant would have quoted me that price for a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. I then read to the 2 different sales persons who assisted me the conversation that I had via text message with Bryant. The sales people left to "speak to a manager" and upon returning several minutes later informed me that Bryant must have been mistakenly referring to a 2015 Nissan Rogue rather than a Pathfinder. The dealership refused to honor the price Bryant had quoted me, in spite of my dismay that I had driven all the way to their dealership based on what Bryant guaranteed ,me for the price for the Pathfinder multiple times.Desired Settlement: I would like Midway Nissan to investigate this issue and modify their policies to ensure that this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Response:

December 29, 2015 On behalf of Midway Nissan I would like to apologize to Ms. [redacted] for the problems she experienced when inquiring about a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. The sales staff quoted a price for a vehicle other than the 2015 Pathfinder she was interested in. We have taken steps with the sales staff to ensure that this does not happen with future customers. Our Customer Service Director, Aaron H[redacted] has been in touch with Ms. [redacted] in an effort to remedy the situation and come to an acceptable resolution. Ms. [redacted] respectfully declined all offers. We appreciate Ms. [redacted] bringing this issue to our attention. And as stated above we have addressed it with the Nissan Sales team.Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.Sincerely,Patti S[redacted] - Midway Nissan

On May 14th I made a phone call to Midway Nissan requesting an appointment to look at a 2014 Sentra that I found on the internet. I arrived and was warmly greeted by two sales people. [redacted] was my sales lady. She was patient, knowledgeable, and listened to all my needs throughout the car purchase process. I appreciate the opportunity to drive the car to my home for my husband to approve before the final purchase. My experience with Midway Nissan was very positive. on a scale of 1-10 I give Midway Nissan a 10 !

Midway Nissan was great to work with through the whole process. They were great when it came to we needed time to think and to shop around. At the end of the day we got the best deal from them. Everyone that worked there we encountered were great. I would recommend purchasing your next vehicle through them. You won't have to waste your time shopping around, and you will be treated great.

I went online looking at the Nissan Armada. Received a call from Midway was advised to come down I did. Spoke with [redacted] when I got there looked around at Pathfinder informed [redacted] did not want a new vehicle. Finally was showed. 2011 Nissan Armada, talked over the price with [redacted]. Went through the finance dept. Talked to [redacted] Rock he was just concerned about me purchasing the extended wrap around insurance, the gap insurance, by the time he finished it was late. [redacted] insisted I signed a contract however jon did not go over the contract with me. He stated he would send off the contract to get the best deal to the banks. The dealership had closed it was like 10:30 when I finally left the dealership. [redacted] did not give me a copy of the contract. Its been 3 weeks I still have not received a contract. I have called Midway dealership everyday since March 17th I have went up there still was not given a contract. I received a congradulation letter from the [redacted]. Advising me they bought the loan. Midway never told me they had it financed. I have not received a contract yet from Midway or [redacted] which purchased the loan. After I inquired. Midway continue to lie to me. They refuse to give a copy of the contract after I have went to the dealership several times.. this has not been resolved. My first installment payment is coming up I have no contract.

I am in the process of looking for a SUV. I got on the Midway Nissan web site on Thursday, February 13, 2014 and saw a Chevrolet Tahoe with the equipment and drive train I wanted for sale at Midway Nissan. I e-mailed Midway Nissan with my trade in information what I owed and where I wanted to end up. I set up an appointment to look and the Tahoe on Tuesday February 18th, when I arrived I was informed the Tahoe had been sold, and informed the internet department was slow at getting vehicles off the web site. After driving twenty five miles out of my way to look at it, I left the dealership disappointed. I continued to look for a Tahoe and on Friday I found the same "sold" Tahoe still on their website for $300 less.I called. Explained my week of dealings and was told they would not be able to finance a deal with me because the price and age of the vehicle and the amount owed on my trade. All which could have been told to me in the beginning eliminating a lot of driving and extra time for both of us. Bad Show, Bad Show. Needless to say, I won't be doing business with Midway Nissan, and will be sharing this information with all my friends and family who are looking to buy a new or used vehicle.

The entire sales process was very smooth. [redacted] from the very beginning was very friendly, helpful, and was more than a friend than a salesperson. There was no negotation or haggling, I outlined my terms and [redacted] worked very hard to achieve it. I got a smoking deal on my 2014 Nissan Altima. As soon as I walked into the financing department, I received the same level of great customer experience. The representative took the time to explain to me all my options to cover the vehicle such as MPP, GAP, etc. All needs and questions were thoroughly covered without any hesitation. Would definitely recommend Midway Nissan to anyone.

From the moment we hit the lot, we were treated as VIP Customers and we are just ordinary people. We were met at our old vehicle by the salesman, [redacted], and led inside where it was cooler (being AZ) and seated w/him to discuss our needs and our financial considerations. He showed us a couple 2012 vehicles even though we were also interested in a Frontier truck. He then went to get some keys to test drive a vehicle and we waited a little bit wandering around lot on our own (was approached by other salesmen but we told them we working w/[redacted]). They left but another salesman approached carrying water for us and he knew we were working w/another but that thoughtfulness was great!). Then [redacted] appeared with a 2014 Versa for us to test drive and we enjoyed it and the price range was what we were looking for. [redacted] then took us inside where we negotiated a few times with him and he worked with us to make the deal happen to all our beneift. He then had the car processed (detailed), filled and cleaned up. We were at dealership approximately 3 hours but we never felt pushed aside, forgotten, or any way uncomfortable. It was a good experience and we will be recommending the dealership (which I have already done) and working w/them again when we ready to trade up. [redacted]'s friendliness and good humor was a definite plus. We haven't had a better salesman in our life that wasn't arrogant or pushy so this was exceptional service. Patrick & Lee Bomar

I am very impressed with the way Midway Nissan's sales team handled me in the purchase of my new car. Tony S and Emanuel were very courteous and made me feel at ease with my decisions. They walked me through each step very professionally and I never felt pressured as I have in the past. Van in financing took his time and explained all of my options. The staff members at Midway Nissan are very professional people and their customer service is over the top.

I recently bought a car from her after going to several other dealers with no luck. Everone I went to told me no, your going to have to put money down. So I decided to try one last time. With the excellent sales team Midway Nissan was able to get me approved for a car that I can afford and with a reasonable interest rate. Thank you Midway Nissan and Ellioth my sales men.

Purchased a 2015 Nissan Juke yesterday. I was planning on waiting until 2016 to get a new car, but after seeing their pricing I thought maybe now was the time to buy. My husband and I both test drove it and immediately I knew this car was for me. Although they did not have the color and model I wanted in stock, they were able to find exactly what I wanted. They were able to get my car in three days. When I came in they offered the same pricing we had discussed previously and I went home that day with my new Juke. Everyone at Midway Nissan was extremely nice and helpful. Matthew made sure the car was clean and showed us everything on the car, even setting up my smartphone with the Bluetooth. The Finance Department was a pleasant experience also, everything was explained well.

As I said I was going to wait until 2016 and look at a few other comparable small SUV’s, but after driving the Juke and seeing the pricing, I bought the new 2015 now. I have never had a great experience buying a new car until coming to Midway Nissan. I will definitely look here again when I want a new car

We originally bought a [redacted] with the GAP Program coverage. Recently, it was totaled out and now we are trying to get the GAP Program to pay out on the claim, and it is not a pleasant experience, at all... If it were not for Patrick F[redacted] (finance Manager) helping us so much, we would be going crazy! Also, this is the third Nissan we have bought from Patrick F[redacted] at Midway Nissan. He is the best! Get him if you want getting a new car to be a smooth and stress-free experience. (Well, as much as possible!) :)

Review: After what I consider a less than ethical sales experience with midway Nissan in which I was manipulated into agreeing to extras such as an extended warranty, tire warranty, etc. I chose to cancel...which I was told I could do...but I have repeatedly for the past three months engaged [redacted] and Midway Nissan to refund the almost $5,000. The day following the experience, which is forever burnt into my mind and seemed akin to "date rape"...when someone says no they mean no period end of discussion, I returned and signed a document requesting these extras be removed and a refund check be sent to [redacted] reducing the note and monthly payments. This started in March and I have been repeatedly been told the "check is in the mail" but this is a lie...it has not happened...I've been deceived and defrauded my the finance person and the dealer and am beyond frustrated.

The sales process is such that it is designed to wear you down, deny you direct access to exit the closed door finance session, and ultimately agree to items you have no interest in purchasing. Furthermore, I believe based on comments made during the finance session that it is monitored remotely without your consent.Desired Settlement: that all undesired add ons be removed asap, past credits given, and a written public apology issued and a commitment that the dealership will respect it customers...in the end there is an obligation of the organization to the communities which sustain it...this has been totally forgotten and the financial rape leaves a completely dissatisfied customer.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I have verified the refund has been received by [redacted]. Thank you. However, I take exception to the inference that I was informed that I gave consent to or was informed that I was being video and audio recorded.

Regards,

MY EXPERIENCE AT MIDWAY WAS EXCEPTIONAL. MY SALESMAN [redacted] WAS UPFRONT AND HONEST WITH ME THROUGH THE WHOLE PROCESS.

I placed inquiry for a vehicle via the internet. I was called and advised to bring my vehicle into dealership for trade appraisal. Upon arrival I was approached by a manager to simply stated I should give my car back to my finance company and purchase a vehicle from their establishment. This seems not only unethical but certainly should break some kind of corporate rules with in the van tyle establishment

Inquired about a car showing online with a special ePrice. The representative wrote back saying though the ePrice was $200 less than the showing amount, this didn't include a "reconditioning fee" of $1769 which needed to be added on to the car price. Bad experience overall.

Great place to buy a car. Staff is knowledgeable and attentive. Great job [redacted] and [redacted]. Thank you very much.

Amazing Service! Thank you MidWay for giving me superior service! Everyone is Amazing!

Midway Nissan is a breath of fresh air when it comes to car buying. I couldn't ask for a better experience getting into a new car! I worked with directly with Anthony T[redacted] who listened to what I wanted and did his best to deliver exactly what I wanted. The whole team there was very nice and accommodating to mine and my families needs. This is my second purchase with them, and each time gets easier. They definitely go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home.
