Midway Nissan Reviews (383)

The sales team at Midway Nissan were excellent in providing assistance with our two new vehicles. This includes [redacted], and [redacted]. There are sure many others behind the scene that assisted ,however, these three were there for us at a drop of the hat. Thanks again Midway for your excellent job in helping us get what we needed.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. I was told from the beginning how long I was going to be there and worked very hard until we got it done. [redacted] was an awesome salesperson.

Totally awesome experience. No pressure sales the staff is awesome there. Very helpful and polite. Awesome car buying experience recommend to anyone.

Classic bait and switch company. I was quoted a price by the internet manager of $10,325 and when I finally got in touch with a sales associate the final pricing came to $16,905. How does that happen?! I thought it was a mistake so I even called back to be sure it was the same car. I was told it was some kind of "mix up" with the listing. Needless to say, this dealership will not have my business any time soon. STAY AWAY!

Midway Nissan advertised online (Auto Trader and their own website) a Nissan Altima for $4,949. I called on that car, and the person on the phone notified me that various expenses needed to be added to the selling price of the car for clean-up repairs and whatnot (if I wanted that done, they said). It could be anywhere between $700 and $1,400. I got off the phone and they said that they would call me back with more information. They did, but the price of the car was now determined to be $7,500. She said she could get me an itemized listing of what the $2,500+ was for. Felt like false advertising to me, and I'm disappointed in the experience. Felt like bait and switch. I certainly wouldn't want others to get "taken".

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Midway Nissan in Phoenix. They were kind, professional, and are now like family. Midway Nissan and [redacted] (my salesman) were informative, kind and made the process of buying a car less stressful. Every aspect of my journey of purchasing a new car, was PERFECTLY executed. Thank you MIDWAY NISSAN, I am a fan for life!

I recommend Midway Nissan to anyone looking to purchase a new car and would like a great experience. I worked with Scott Sullivan and he was truly awesome to deal with. Scott supported me as the buyer, definitely wanted to make sure I was getting what I needed and looked out for my best interest. He was honest and sincere, patient and easy to talk with and be around. He truly has great customer service. The rest of the Midway team, Adam, Manny and Patrick, helped to close the deal. At the end of the process I was extremely happy and became a new dedicated Midway customer.

I had a great experience buying my car here. The sale person [redacted] was great! He even bought us dinner since the process was taking longer than expected. I will be referring friends and family.

I purchased a 2013 Rogue SV from Midway Nissan and the whole process was done with friendly and knowledge employees. They went the extra mile for me as I am on a fixed income and went way out of way to find me the best financing for my income with lowest interest rate possible. I was treated with respect and consideration. I would recommend Midway to all my friends without a problem. Midway is an awesome place.

Midway Nissan gets 5 stars for the best car buying experience I've ever had. Matthew was very professional and helpful. No hidden fees or small print.

Revdex.com needs more businesses like Midway Nissan!

The best experience I have had in 30 years of buying cars. Professional, listened, and provided me with the options and means of buying on great terms and a great car.

Super friendly service from Javier H[redacted] during the entire process. The entire staff at Midway Nissan were helpful on pleasant. Best car buying experience ever!

Very pleased with the whole experiance everyone very nice and helpful would definately recomed to family and friends

Excellent customer service and a pleasure to deal with. Process was fast and efficient and would highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase a new Nissan!

Review: This is a classic case of bait and switch. Midway Nisson offered to sell me a 2014 silver [redacted] for $29,149 which included total dealer fees and accessories on the internet.I called them at 9pm on Jan9 and said that I would buy that car the next morning. They close at 9pm.When I arrived the next morning, they told me that that car had been sold (during the night) and asked if I would be willing to buy another [redacted] with the same options.I said I would at the same price and they asked me to come back tomorrow. The next day they kept me busy with 7 other dealer options, a test drive, the wrong VIN numbers and requests for data from my car insurance company. The only difference between the car I bought and the silver [redacted] was the exterior color and one accessory.I offered to pay cash but they said I would not get a $4000 rebate unless I financed the car. That way they could hide the cost over4 pages of calculations.I signed 2 pages but they did not show me the other two pages until the next day.It still took many many hours to figure out that I paid $5161 more than the first car!!It is noted that there was a third party ([redacted]) that kept stalling and delayed my attempts to resolve this matter. It is also noted that these are 2014 models and not the much improved 2015 models. The last time I looked at the internet they were still offering a 2014 silver [redacted] for $29,000.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE A REFUND Of $5161 DOLLARS

Response:

March 9, 2015We are in receipt of the complaint [redacted] filed with your office. [redacted] was working off of an estimated price from a vehicle he had put together himself online, Midway Nissan didn’t have that specific vehicle in stock. We had arranged a "dealer trade" with another dealership, that dealership sold the vehicle before we were able to obtain it. We then had to arrange another trade with a different dealer. When [redacted] built his vehicle on line, the "estimated" invoice price was $29,458.00. The vehicle [redacted] purchased had and MSRP of $35,260.00 and an invoice price of $33,209.00. [redacted] purchase the vehicle for $29,489.00. The price listed did not include taxes, tiltle, license and doc fees, as well as any dealer adds.[redacted] came in and all the numbers were broken down for him. At that point there was a $1,300 difference which was for a warranty he purchased. We offered to cancel the warranty but [redacted] declined. We would be happy to sit down with him again and review all of the numbers.Sincerely,[redacted]Compliance Director- Midway Nissan

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I tried to send this e mail on Tue,Mar 10,2015 but I think it went to the wrong address. Evidently your sales staff did not tell you that I was buying the [redacted] using the Build and Buy program on 1/7/15. I'm pretty sure that they will say that they did not know that. I have all the paperwork for the car I was trying to buy (the bait car) and the switch car. They did not show me how they came up with the Amount Financed and the Finance Charge until I signed the paper work. [redacted] gave me two pages of back up data the next day but it took me many hours to find out that they added $4031 to the Amount Financed and the Finance Charge.[redacted] told me on 1/7/15 that I had to finance the car in order to get a $4000 rebate. [redacted] told me on 1/7/15 that I had to buy a Mechanical Protection Plan (Extended Warranty) in order to get 2.9% financing.I offered to settle for $650 on 1/8/15 but [redacted] only offered me a $100 [redacted] credit.I checked the Build and Buy web site on 3/9/15. I asked for the Midway Nissan dealer price for the same 2014 [redacted] SV that they switched me too. Same color, same options and same MSRP. The dealer price was $29,143 including total dealer fees and [redacted]. It is noted that [redacted] and [redacted] are offering 2014 [redacted] SV's for less than $30,000. Using Midway Nissan cost data, the sales tax, title, license and registration would be $2689 and the total cost to me would be $31,832. The next day (3/10/15) I got an e mail from [redacted] at Midway to sell me this [redacted] for the dealer price of $29,143.Sincerely,[redacted]

To whom it may concern:

I would like to share my shocking experience at Midway Nissan in Glendale Arizona.

I was interested in a ford mustang convertible( 1 red flag) and while talking to the sales person I thought it was very inconvenient that I kept getting different sales people who had not communicated with one another and took very long in getting back to my buying process.

From the beginning I had made it clear to all sales personnel that I have to communicate first to my wife before buying anything, and they were aware of my situation especially that my wife has a very busy schedule just like mine.

because we both work in the medical field and are frequently on call in case of any emergencies.

At one point a sales person had asked if I can leave some deposit to "hold" the vehicle in case everything works out with me and my wife agreeing with the buying terms, while doing this both sales personnel had told me do not worry about your money it is only to hold this car in case we come to an agreement on the purchase.

Finally at the end talking to the wife, while her being at work and us trying to communicate agreed that it was not in our best interest to buy this car at this time.

After my communication with multiple sales people about what me and my wife not being interested any longer it seems like the customer service that I had when I first came in was now gone!

and it was taking hours for anyone getting back to me after my communication with the last sales person, and come to find out the car that I was interested in was not on hold for me because a lot of other people were test driving the vehicle even before I had told them that I was not interested any longer.

Finally a different sales man came to and said the deposit you had put down to hold the car is no longer yours? it is ours for holding this car for you and you not committing to buying, which was the total shocker,

I had laughed and said I need to talk to the sales person name Francisco who I gave the money and signed a paper with my signature and his that I gave a $800 dollar deposit with condition that I will get back if I do not buy!

the sales person said its no longer up to him the GM ( general manager) is now in charge and is not going to give you money back!

then I responded I need to talk to him now please.

Finally while waiting for a long time the GM comes to me and says I don't even know it you gave us any money! and asked if I had some kind of proof or recite and when on saying that if he did have any money of mine that it was no longer mine and that they had wasted valuable time with me with paper work and looking up credit etc and that that $800 dollar's should stay with them for the in convince.

I replied saying this is ridicules I was promised that I would get my money back plus I never signed anything in writing saying you would keep my money if I don't buy,

(at this point I was thinking I will never come to any midway dealer again)

I also responded to the GM is this how you guys do business I had told him that I work in surgery at Glendale hospital were multiple doctors and nurses and friends our thinking of buying from Midway Nissan to buy or lease and have been asking me to share my experience with them and told him this is horrible business that you guys or doing, I also said please talk to your sales person Francisco and I also told him about the paper me and him had signed and agreed on, he them replied can I see that paper,

I replied yes and showed to him and then he took it some were and finally after 45 minutes he returned and returned my money.

This experience has been very shocking,

I feel like I was lied to, like this organization does fraud business especially with costumers who do not know how to defend them selves.

I expected much more from a Nissan dealer and know I think I will NEVER EVER do business with any Nissan dealer and will continue to tell a lot of friends and family about this shocking situation I had and I can not believe that the business of the Revdex.com rates this company a (A+)

SHOCKING

This was our 3rd time purchasing a vehicle from Midway Nissan. We didn't feel any pressure at all. They actually gave us options that we didn't think about. Our salesmen werevery nice and honest.

Midway Nissan has a cheerful & professional staff who help make the car-buying process more pleasant.

Service was amazing!!!! Highly recommended

We met Brandon H[redacted] and Anthony T[redacted] today when looking to purchase a new vehicle. Both gentlemen work diligently for over six hours to make the best deal possible using all incentives available to them in order to get us to an affordable price. On top of that, instead of just getting a standard entry Titan, we ended up leaving the dealership with a Pro-4X version which is the top of the line. Make sure to ask for Brandon or Anthony for the best car buying experience possible. Great guys that are NOT your typical salesman.
