I am submitting a second response to the complaint filed by

Mr. [redacted] regarding his experience with Midway Nissan.

On behalf of Midway Nissan, I apologize for any

inconvenience Mr. [redacted] experienced with our sales staff regarding internet

pricing.  While the advertisement includes all rebates that are available from the manufacturer, not all

customers will qualify for the rebate.

 

Examples of types of rebates include,

New College Graduate

Current Military

Current Nissan Owner

Qualifying for a particular rebate is not dependent upon a

credit score whether it be good or bad.

Our sales staff directed to always put the customer first

and we regret that Mr. [redacted] experience did not reflect the professional

courtesy that our staff has been trained to provide.  It is through feedback of customers like Mr.

[redacted] that we can detect problems in our sales process and correct them.

As a gesture of customer goodwill, Midway Nissan has sent a

check in the amount of $60.00 to reimburse the customer for mileage/gas.  Additionally the $25.00 gift card was also

mailed to the address listed on the complaint.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] I received the check on 1/25/16 after many false promises. I would consider this matter resolved. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone and warn them of their horrendous customer service. Worst car buying experience.

Tony went above and beyond to help me get into a new car.

Jessicka A[redacted] was my sales consultant and was an excellent person to work with! I bought a brand new car and couldn't be more excited about it!! Thank you so much!!! ;) Your service was phenomenal!!!

We recently purchased a 2016 NV Passenger van from Midway Nissan in Scottsdale Arizona. Scott Sullivan was extremely professional, and answered all the questions we had. He was even willing to come into the office on his day off if we needed him to. it was overall a great experience.

My Experienced at Midway Nissan was really satisfied, my salesperson was Alec, he was really helpful with all my questions, he provided great customer service. I'm really happy to be a customer with them?? The people are very friendly and they're always providing good Customer service with a happy face. I highly recommend Midway Nissan not just because of the cars or deals, also because of their personal.

Mr. [redacted] signed a "conditional delivery agreement" and a "retail buyers order" for the 2016 Nissan. The "conditional delivery agreement" states that the buyer understands that they are taking the vehicle prior to lender approval. The "buyers order" on the reverse...

side, states that if the contract is not finalized the customer is responsible for paying to the dealership $.30 a mile or $20.00 a day which ever is greater. The customer is also responsible for any damage to the vehicle while in their possession.With all that being said, Midway Nissan has refunded Mr. Stark his down payment in full as a gesture of customer goodwill.
We considered this matter to be closed.

Stock# [redacted].  This vehicle is listed on our website with the following pricing:MSRP:                                    $16,475.00Discount:                              �... incentive:                        500.00Current listed price:                 15,316.00       *Credit Score Offer:                    500.00Conditional Final Price:          $14,816.00We have listened to all the recorded calls with Mr. [redacted] and the focus was on the 10k out the door and putting 5k down, there was no breakdown of the numbers given to Mr. [redacted] over the phone. Our sales person thought after the rebates, money down and fees applied we were able to then get to the 10,500 on a vehicle which invoiced for 16,200. We were aware that Mr. [redacted] did not live in the area and arrived at the dealership late in the evening, the dealership paid for him to stay at a hotel for the night.  Our Customer Service Director has spoken personally to Mr. [redacted] and explained the misunderstanding/miscommunication and apologized to him.  We also have offered Mr. [redacted] a $100.00 to compensate for gas/travel to our dealership, he declined the offer. Again, we apologize to Mr. [redacted] for the miscommunication in pricing.  We regret that we are unable to sell Mr. [redacted] the vehicle for $10,500.  We can provide the manufacturer invoice which reflects the MSRP and Invoice pricing upon request.Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.Sincerely,[redacted]Compliance Officer – Midway Nissan

Hector G[redacted] was a great sales man I would highly recommend going to midway nissan happy with my purchase and experience

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and would like to further explain a few things.  First, the tank of gas was given with the loaner vehicle only because my husband went to the dealership to pick up the truck we purchased and it was not there.  Secondly, the floor mats were not offered to us, my husband had to ask for them.  After my husband asked for the floor mats, the sales person ([redacted]) said no but that he could sell them to us at "cost".  My husband explained our frustrations further and then [redacted] had to ask a supervisor who finally agreed to give us the floor mats.  Also, we were told we would get "double gift cards" and did not.  We have yet to receive a payment for our car loan, but will be looking for that.  Lastly, the most important issue I would like to express is the overall lack of concern for our missing vehicle.  [redacted] told my husband twice he would call him back and did not.  We spoke to several people including [redacted] and [redacted] who told us we could not cancel our contract which we learned to be false.  Each person we spoke with acted like they didn't care about getting us our care and did not show sympathy.   I will wait until for the business to provide us with our first month's payment.

Very very unprofessional. Unorganized, lying and not trust worthy. Bought a used car from this dealer on a Saturday was told said the deal wasn't final and would call me either that Monday or Tuesday , did not receive a call until Thursday afternoon which was told BY THEIR FINANCE MANAER the loan was APPROVED and to come in to sign the final paperwork to secure your deal. Come in the Finance manager doesn't have any of the paper work together tells us the sales managaer has the final paperwork and then leaves his office has us wait almost a full hour before he comes back to let us know that the sales manager is on the phone talking with the bank. So we wait another 45 minutes then the used car sales manager comes in to tell us that the bank did approve our loan however we now have a 6,000 dollar down payment. Out of now where no one mentioned it to me on the phone before hand when they called me. An now all of sudden they need all This money down. Couldn't be upfront they had to make us wait to find out. Not to mention they tell you all about how the car goes through all of these inspections before it's sold. Yet somehow when I got this car it needed a oil change .... Gee guess that inspection wasn't so good after all

He took his time to get me the right payments, and he also went out his way and picked up a pizza for my sister and I. If you are looking for a car Midway Nissan is the place to go..

If you are looking for a honest deal and great customer service go to Midway Nissan and ask for Tony S[redacted]!! He worked with us step by step in taking out our 2016 versa and 2015 sentra. If we need anything he helps us out directly and follows through with his word.

My wife and I went to Midway Nissan on June 11th after I was in an accident that totalled my car. We were looking for something comparable to our 2010 Mazda 3 that was totalled. We loved that car. We would of stuck with a Mazda but, due to some unfortunate events like much of the country, we don't have the best credit score. We were looking for a dealership that "specializes" in helping people like us, like Midway advertises.

Once we arrived we were greeted at our car door by a salesman. May be a little over anxious but that's how dealerships roll. Once we told the salesman that we had already talked to someone on the website, he was happy to walk us inside to find the person we talked to.

We had explained our situation with needing a car and our credit history. We were looking at a pre-owned vehicle but they explained that it would be easier to get us into a brand new car due to term length, to get a payment we could afford. The Salesman was helpful in helping us get a car we wanted but was upfront with how our credit and price range would hinder us, not it a bad way, but it was nice they were up front.

One of the very few down falls was they were a little pushy with one particular car. We learned we would only qualify for a Versa, which was fine after I got over the fact we couldn't get a Sentra lol, but they wanted us to get one Versa in particular and I had to explain numerous times that I did not like the interior color. It took a few times of reiterating this until they offered to find one with a darker interior.

One of the other gripes I had was with the "detail" department. After we signed all the paperwork, they said we had to wait a few mins while the detail department got it cleaned and looking for us. They didn't do a very good job. They were probably slammed as well but I'm not sure.

The process was super long but I don't think it was the staffs fault. It was a Saturday and the place was packed so I'm pretty sure they were doing the best they could.

Besides being a little pushy and the detail department, they did a good job. They never once lied to us and they never promised anything they couldn't deliver on. They were upfront the whole time on how limited we would be because of our credit and never tried to force us into a monthly payment we couldn't afford.

The staff here was super nice and helpful. My car shopping experience was made easy and they never pushed me towards making a decision I was not ready to make. I looked at about 3 vehicles in total and the staff had patience when it came to all the questions and doubts I had. Everything was explained thoroughly and I walked out with my brand new car the same day. It was a great time!

My Car hunting started with ups and downs and when I reached Midway Nissan and Worked with Brandon the experiences became breezing. He worked along with us patiently and more than a week and helped us to sign the great deal and the entire staff at Midway Nissan simply wonderful.
