Couch was broken less than a month after purchase; Morris did not send someone out to fix it for months--same exact part keeps breaking
Original purchase date of the couch was October 10, Less than a month later (first week of November), a piece of the couch was broken and protruding from the back sideWe called Morris about it, who repeatedly made and broke appointment dates to do a repairThe initial repair was slated for mid-November but had to be canceled at the literal last hour because the technician had a "family emergency"After that, any attempts by my wife and I to set up an appointment fell through because Morris claimed there was a fire at their manufacturing center where the parts to repair furniture are madeThey strung us along with this story until February when a part finally arrived so the couch could be fixed--the wrong partThe technician arrived to tell us he couldn't work on the couch because Morris had sent the wrong part for the repair

On 8-we purchased a complete Porter California King bedroom set from Morris Home furniture located in Springdale, OhWe were told that the bed rails will be orderedI ask *** *** are salesman if this will pose an issue receiving our furniture timelyHe responded "absolutely not." The furniture was originally scheduled to be delivered two weeks after purchase dateI refused partial delivery because they informed us the bed rails did not arrive as expectedThis pushed our delivery date back to 9-When they contcated me to arrange delivery, I asked if the bed rails were available, and they again said noConsidering we already donated our old furniture, I agreed to have the dresser, chest of drawers, and two night stands deliveredThey explained the bed rails will arrive on and be delivered on 9-They again arranged delivery for the foot board

Purchased Elijah Reclining Loveseat W/Con on 11/25/ Approximately month(10/2017) ago the recliner handle broke offConsumer contacted Morris and was told that it was under warranty and requested any model numbers off of the loveseat Consumer gave all numbers to Morris who in turn scheduled for a repairman to come out on 11/15/Repairman arrived only to take pics of loveseat and obtain model numbers when in fact the part should have been ordered back in October when consumer initially called and gave all model numbers Repairman told consumer it will another 2-weeks before part comes in and then we would have to schedule another appointment thenThanksgiving is days away and the loveseat is still broken

I am rejecting this response because: The work was not satisfactorily completed The house is not near level by any reasonable standard Damage to the home caused by the company has not been rectified I have been harassed and threatened for online reviews, with threats of lawsuit Even if the work were completed, the final invoice is not due until February - so it is ridiculous for them to threaten a collections claim I have hired an attorney.

I paid for a replacement part for my couch a month and a half ago and have not received the part or an explanation, or money back
On April 4th, 2017, I ordered a replacement back for my reclining couch that I purchased from Morris Home Furnishings several years ago It is the second time I have had to replace this particular piece $was withdrawn from my checking account on April 5th That was weeks ago and I have not received the part I have called the company several times and have been given the run-around They keep saying "We'll let you know when its in" or they will promise to "look into it" and say they will call me back but they never do

Enclosed is a copy of a complaint letter I sent to Morris Home FurnishingsI purchased a lift chair in August of last year and since the first week in December I have not been able to get the manufacturer warantee honored by this companyIt has now been months and I am still at square one
I would appreciate your looking into the reasoning that this company cannot assist me in getting the appropriate repair done for the lift chairI live alone and I have a need for this equipment
Given the long time perhaps they could offer a refund since they do not seem to be able to get this chair functioning

We ordered our $3,sofa on 11/25/ Received it in late March We noticed a tear in the leather and a mechanical problem
When we noticed the defects with the sofa when it was delivered we left them know immediately
They came out on April 6,to look over the sofa and said they would order the parts As we waited patiently we got not response We continued to call and we were always told the parts have not come in yet After waiting even longer we made several trips to the store to talk to the manager He assured us the problem would be taken care of

I contacted customer support on August with a complaint on new furniture that was received damaged two large desks had issues with the drawers not latching and a bookshelf was not properly aligned customer support sent out a technician to determine best course of action for repairs on August Technician indicated that the desk drawers needed replaced and the entire bookshelf needed replaced When the technician left I signed a form that indicated only damage details and was told once again that my drawers and bookshelf would be replaced I suspect that at a later date the technician report was amended with additional information to specify replacement and parts needed, however as the company does not give copies of the signed form to customers at the time of signing I have no way to prove this I was later contacted by customer support around august

I purchased Lazy Boy furniture and have had multiple problems Some have been addressed However the recliner continues to have the same issue

Bought Table from AshleyHave had problems with the glue coming apart and bibles forming on the table
I purchase this table from Ashley Furniture in September of Within months I had a service complaint out for bubbling of the tableThey sent a tech out who states the tables glue failed, and could not be fixedI called Morris back to find out when they table would be replacedThey told me the issue was my fault, and would not be replacing the tableAfter much back and forth, they sent another tech out who confirmed the same thing, glue failed, cant be fixedThis time Morris refused to replace the table and wanted to be able to fix itI agreedThey took the table for over a week
When the table was returned, they used a different type of finishing color on the table (does not look the same- now looks like someone took permanent marker over the table in different areas.)
I called and complained then about the different coloring of the tableThey told me too bad

On 9/26/Morris agreed to refund protection plan as it was sold to us, still have not received the refundCalls and emails are not being returned
