I placed an order almost months ago and haven't gotten the correct itemsI'm paying for the wrong delivery and customer service is terrible

Poor quality and service
I purchased an entertainment stand from Morris and it had a damaged door After contacting them a new door was delivered over one year later However the door was the wrong sizeThey sent another door which was incorrectly sized as wellThe third party service technician and Morris's in-house technician both agree that the doors sent are wrong The Morris technician installed the door, took pictures and said that the company would be getting back with me Because the door is the wrong size it is out of square with the opening
Morris did call my home phone and left a message that they reviewed the pictures and determined, that even though the door was the wrong size and it met "industry standards"
In addition, when the first door was installed I was promised a $gift card which still has not arrived

I was told I would receive a refund within 7-business days from 3/6/18, and I still have not received my refund
On November 24, 2017, I went into Morris Furniture located at *** *** *** ***, *** XXXXX to purchase a couch and loveseat they had advertised in a black Friday add I purchased a Wilson pkg pc set At the time of purchase I was told the item was out of stock "until mid January" On January 19, 2018, I was set up for delivery By this time I had given away my old furniture and had no living room furniture When the delivery men came in, they only had my couch to be delivered I was never advised that the loveseat was not being delivered with the sofa After calling the store, I was advised that the loveseat would not be delivered until mid February because of a "warehouse fire" I had already given away my old furniture and needed the loveseat for extra seating in my living room They sent me a "loaner" loveseat to use until my loveseat came in Howe

Free Furniture Voter Turnout Promotion
Morris had a promotion stating free furniture if 69% of Ohio votes We understand this will be achieved However, Morris has already expressed that the promotion offer was not met because we did not reach 6M votes How did they get 6M, they used a clever word called eligible voters instead of registered voters How can an eligible voter not registered vote, they can't There are 7.8M registered voters in Ohio, there is no elegible math here Please look into their promotion It was a clever type scam if you ask me

Morris Furniture won't refund the amount spent on a couch that wasn't what we agreed to purchase at the store based on the display model
On March 25, we went to Morris Furniture CompanyWe found, after much looking, a living room set that had a couch and loveseat with firm cushionsWe need support because we both have bad backs
The salesperson said the store units were about years old and a new set would be even firmerWe had to special order to get the fabric we liked
On May the set was deliveredAfter sitting on the couch cushions we found them to be much softer than the ones we sat on in the store and it gave us back pain
We tried working with Morris for months to see what could be doneWe even agreed to keep the pieces we don't routinely sit on (a second couch and the loveseat, plus two ottomans) if they would take back the couch that we use 99% of the time

Morris ran these ads on Tv,radio,internet,and sales reps when visiting the storeI visited the store on 11/7/to look aroundHad multiple sales reps approach me while looking aroundEach one stressed it's a good time to buy with the 50% off plus if more than 69% Ohio voters vote your purchase is freeAnd they are positive it will happenThe company had to up the insurance on this sale to cover it and there's only been two election where there wasn't more than 69% reported by Ohio Secretary of stateI ended up making a purchase on 11/7/for $with Tim Carter using my Morris credit cardCustomer code/account Was told I would get a rebate in the amount of I would need to come into store between 12/7/and 01/31/to claim my rebate.On 11/9/Morris stated that the % was not metWhen the Ohio Secretary of Ohi

On about October18, a Morris crew from their Fairborn distribution center delivered a bedroom suite to the girl upstairs at our ***-** entrance minutes later, we found our small maple foyer table turned on it's top, leg broken off and our flowers setting on top of the remaining legs Somehow, the last years the four able residents at this entrance have managed not to stumble into the corner of the foyer and damage this table After a phone convrsation with the Fairborn delivery coordinator, an e-mailed photo and trip to our local store to complain, a report of the complaint to Fairborn "corporate" by the service manager, and follphone calls, we are advised that Morris corporate continues to believe one of their delivery crew who claim they didn't do it Also that it' would be different if they were delivering furniture to us Not agreeing to accept a $repair for another Morris customer in good standing is unbelievable The many dozens of complaints since Morris corporate agreed with the Dayton Revdex.com last May to make necessary changes to their customer service procedures and policies, indicates the same personnel at Morris are still following the same customer-unfriendly policies

I ordered a couch and ottoman and paid extra to have Morris deliver the items to my homeAfter the items were placed in my house, the Morris delivery people informed me that a part of the couch did not have any feet with itThey said they would order new ones, or that we could go to the warehouse in Fairborn to get the feet ourselves Went to the warehouse and had to wait for over an hour for several employees to try and find the correct feetWe asked the woman working customer service if there was anyone she could call to order another set of feet (in addition to the ones they were unable to locate when we went to the warehouse) and she had no idea what to do or how to go about seeing if the feet we needed were in stock or how to order another set of feetIt was ridiculousI asked to be refunded the delivery fee, which I think is more than reasonable seeing as they failed to deliver and I had to go pick up the remaining parts myself, but the customer service rep has not even responded to that requestIt has been over weeks now Very disappointed in both the service and the inability of their own customer service rep to provide any ACTUAL customer service

No resolution for almost months on a piece of furniture that is defective
Purchased furniture May 17, Furniture delivered July12, Purchased Lazyboy rockers, custom made, one print, one whiteWhite was delivered dirty and had to be returned for cleaningThe white one also has a loud knock in it when you rock itThe other chair does not do this, so I know it's not a design error but is a manufacturing errorI have made several attempts emailing with little then no response, 8/4,8/21,8/26, 8/29,8/so farI have also spoken with the manager at Morris no less than times by phone and my husband has visited the store times and talked on the phone with the manager and with someone name Katie at the storeWe have also contacted Lazyboy with no resolutionAll we get is the run around and all we want is for the chair to be replacedThe padding of the chair is also slight but I was willing to forgo that just to get the annoying knock fixed

My couch had issues and I have been having a heck of a time getting them to come fix itThey have already been out twice and its still broke
I purchaced the couch in and around the year mark I have had issues that were covered under warranty and its been a bad experience trying to get this fixed

We ordered a couch on 12/11/from MorrisIt was delivered on 1/26/It arrived brokenIt is 3/4/and our couch still hasn't been returned

Guardian protection plan was misrepresented at time of contract
Guardian "extended warranty" protection was misrepresented at time of contractDescribed as protection plan if there are "stains, tears, breaks...etc." Was not told it doesn't cover wear and teartears near seam, or that a complaint had to be filled within daysI have filled two complaintsOne denied because tear occurred at seamThe other complaint was never responded toUpon contacting Morris I was given tips to navigate the complaint process which I was told "doesn't pay very often." I was not give written policies on Guardian until after daysCompeting furniture stores and policies are significantly more comprehensiveI have bought a lot of furniture from Morris and hoped to buy moreI have spent over $on these warranty policies which I believe use the technical details of the policy to pay out at a very low rate

On 8-we purchased a complete Porter California King bedroom set from Morris Home furniture located in Springdale, OhWe were told that the bed rails will be orderedI ask *** *** are salesman if this will pose an issue receiving our furniture timelyHe responded "absolutely not." The furniture was originally scheduled to be delivered two weeks after purchase dateI refused partial delivery because they informed us the bed rails did not arrive as expectedThis pushed our delivery date back to 9-When they contcated me to arrange delivery, I asked if the bed rails were available, and they again said noConsidering we already donated our old furniture, I agreed to have the dresser, chest of drawers, and two night stands deliveredThey explained the bed rails will arrive on and be delivered on 9-They again arranged delivery for the foot board

We purchased furniture it was now working the day it was delivered Customer Service has done nothing to help me resolve
We purchased the furniture in Novwith a warranty, the day it was delivered the USB port was broke, they replaced the center console A short Tim later the gliders on the love seat were grinding, someone came out and said the bases needed to be replaced Bases were delivered and sat in the garage for several (6-8) weeks Finally the bases were replaced After they left we discovered that one of the recliners of the loveseat was not reclining So yet again we made arrangements for someone to come back out They came out and fixed the recliner so it would recline out Then after leaving we discovered it was almost impossible to push the recliner back in At that point I was very frustrated that this brand new furniture has been nothing but issues since the day we purchasee it I called the customer service line and the rep said let us come out again a

After multiple attempts to get service performed on a leather chair,that is still under warranty, I am still unable to get anyone at the customer service department to call me back I have asked to speak with managers or supervisors and I have been told that there are none that are availableAfter all the calls that have been placed and I have spoken to actual people they say that they have no record of me callingI feel that they are trying to get out of fixing a flawed chair that has been fixed once alreadyMy husband and I feel that we are getting the run around and we need help resolving this issue

Refused to take furniture that was promised to be taken Customer service refused to help
I bought set of twin mattresses and box springs I paid for a delivery so they would take the old ones away I am elderly and unable to move them When they delivered the mattresses they refused to take the old ones because there was dead rolly polly on the box spring that had probably been there yearsMy daughter picked it off and showed them what it was and that there were NO other bugs of any sort on the beds They still refused to take it I called the salesperson and he said that wasn't right and put me on hold He came back on the phone and said that it was a new policy that he didn't know about and refused to help in any way Their customer service is awful I am very upset over this There was no mention of any of these "policies" in any of the paperwork
