National Funding Inc Reviews (322)

Dear ** [redacted],We’re sorry that you are unsatisfied, and we understand the confusion around the Total Repayment Amount language, but we notified you verbally and in writing of the additional fees associated with the loan before you signed the contracts. In your case, there were 176 daily payments of $2,198.86 which totals $386,999.36. On page 5, article 12 of the contract, we clearly state that the Origination Fee is a one-time fee that is collected on the day that payments commence which brings the total to $389,999.36. Therefore, we will not be refunding you the origination fee. Sincerely, National Funding

Again, we have removed [redacted] from our system.
Thank you
National Funding

In the last 6 months I received many email from [redacted], (National Funding ),if I want to take business load to help improve our business, I was skeptical to find it being real, later on around December a friend of mine call me about getting business loan ,for my business, I said ok I give it try, later on he came back with high interest, so I didn't want it , and I thought about [redacted], so I gave him a try , david was able to get me the loan with lesser interest and quick , with better term, in a matter of a week the whole thing was done, no hidden costs, no situation very honest and business and I respect that , and I am hoping to continue business relation and keep my end of the bargain with them and I talk them all for helping me to get the business help I need .
Best Regards

Dear [redacted], Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. Because our business is built on the trust between our loan specialists and our customers, we strive to make sure each customer fully understands our terms before agreeing to the contract. When we reviewed your contract with you, we...

included a verbal explanation of the origination fee in addition to the daily payments.  Also, the contract that you signed clearly stated the origination fee on the first page, along with another section that explains that the origination fee is a one-time fee that is collected on the first day that payments begin. If you have any questions about the terms of your contract or need further clarification, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us Sincerely, National Funding

you need to fix your literature to accurately describe itself.  If you do not I will forward it to the authorities in government.  You are actively engaging in fraudulent information.
you can not tell prospective clients they have been pre qualified if they have not been pre qualified. the only thing you have right is that I am a business owner.
Correct this or you will be turned in to the authorities and I assume investigated by the feds. that won't look good on your resume. You are liars thus far.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would "Partially" resolve my complaint and concern!.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This is their response below and in BLUE.  From the reading what they say is partially true.  Unfortunately I destroyed the mailing piece after sending my complaint otherwise I would have included it in this response.  Next time I won't!
However, the mailing I did receive was a card with my company name, my name, and an account number assigned soliciting my business.  I do an not comfortable with their explanation of the difference.  Regardless... in the their mailing, and as stated... I am/was "Pre-Approved" for financing, call to activate!
My issue and concern is still not addressed.  Their marketing piece is "Unsolicited."  And yes I know it is their attempt to get business they do not have and this.  Most people would simply trash it and be done with it.  I did the 1st time.  Then a few months later I received another.  I called.  Then I received another.  I called again.  Now this piece.  The issue is that they fail to mention that they ignored my verbal requests.  Instead they try to explain the difference between the mails.  A simple response would have worked but no!
They, National Funding, did not and does not listen to my requests to be removed from their marketing lists.  And they didn't read my complaint very well for I complained but I wanted an apology from those at National Funding that I designated with "ASSURANCE" that I will be Permanently Removed/Deleted from ANY and ALL Marketing Solicitation Lists NOW and IN THE FUTURE.
Bottom-line... I don't see NATIONAL FUNDING's apology nor their acknowledgement to the above.  I see an explanation of what they sent and the difference with a very brief apology etc., etc., but no guarantee.  FYI... I got that when I called speaking with one of their reps.

In closing, expect a full and total apology with a "Guarantee that National Funding will NEVER SEND ME ANY UNSOLICITATED ANYTHING.  And I will assure National Funding that if I receive 1 more piece of unsolicited business mail from them I fill take legal action.
Sincerely,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The actuality of the contract still does not indicate that an interim payment would be required, the cover letter indicates to talk to my representative ([redacted]) to find out what additional items would be required, if any.  He indicated that nothing else would be required as evidenced by their recording of all conversations, therefore I should not have been liable for the interim payment nor the inspection of the truck which should be a cost of them doing business, not passed on to me without my approval.
Simple math speaks more to the issue of them going up on their renegotiated rate after I paid for the truck and [redacted] had a "ah, sorry" moment when he spoke out of turn about the funding of the taxes and registration that were to be paid back to me upon completion of the transaction.  He admitted that he told me that would be covered but someone in underwriting told him that they could not.  Again, this is information contained in documented recordings by National Funding.  The original amount of payback was 60 months at 563.93 per month or 33,235.80 paid back over the term of the loan.  This amount divided by the 18,678.75 that was to be funded comes to a payback of 1.77933748243.  After they adjusted the paperwork to not reflect the taxes and registration of the vehicle, the payback was 60 months at 521.59 per month or 31,295.40 paid back over the term of the loan.  This amount divided by the 17,580.00 that was funded comes to a payback of 1.78017064846, so I'm not certain where they get their calculations but again, they are incorrect.
The amazing thing to me is that they aren't willing to make things right on this transaction, but will make concessions if I will spend more money with their dishonest company.

the supposed day of closing I was asked to get updated articles of incorporation....worked all weekend with my c.p.a and attorney to correct issues.....once that wasn't enough I was told I needed amended 2012 tax returns which I provided......then I was told I needed 2013 amended tax returns which my c.p.a could not do until he had confirmation from the i.r.s that he was ok to redue the 2013 tax return but did send the extension letter sent..once that wasn't enough I set up a three way conference call between my accountant and lender and me....they never called.....they do whats called a run around...its a trick by a broker(which is what they are) not a lender...for anyone who doesn't know the difference they put the file together...present it to the lender(people who actually lend money) then are the middle man between you and that person....if I were dealing with a direct lender (can capital..ondeck.capital for merhcants and so many more)..they would tell you what you need upfront before signing a contract.what they need..not sign a contract with all terms and conditions promise a closing date...cause the truth is they have no idea...a broker for a merchant advance is good for nothing...they will charge u a 5% fee...or sometimes a flat 3000 and then get dividends from the lender.....you do not need these people...they are useless....get ahold of a direct lender...it ill save you thousands of dollars and you deal with them not the broker who just passes the word on...they are a waste of time and have no clue when your truly suppose to close....between willy [redacted] and mr. roberts they will bounce you around until you its too late...I worked with them  for 2 1/2 weeks....I could have gotten a bank loan in that time....I switched to another company and closed a deal and got funded in 7 business days.....say what you want but facts are facts...dont waste your time...they will only hurt u

Good Morning,
I have gone through the documents as well as spoken with the representative on this transaction. We offered to waive the documentation fee at the beginning of the transaction. Once we received the call about the interim and prefund fee we offered to waive the interim rent as well. The...

customer is currently responsible for the prefund fee of $100.00. We are unable to waive this. We have made every attempt to meet the customer in the middle for this transaction and get him the best deal possible on his transaction.
Thank you
