Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
Regards,
[redacted]

Good Morning,I have reached out to the sales rep as well as the sales manager that were involved in this transaction. We had an open approval and documents out on a loan for this customer. One of the funding requirements was that an inspector was to go out to her location and view her place of...

business. The customer was not willing to meet the inspector at her office so we gave the customer 2 options at that point. The first option was for her to complete the inspection and we move along with funding. This option is the one that we STRONGLY encouraged the customer to proceed with but she didn't. The second option was that we pull her internal approval and see if we could get another company to fund her without requiring the site. The customer chose to pull her internal approval and then send the transaction to an outside company. The outside company declined the deal and decided not to move forward so at that point we were unable to complete any funding for this customer. In the complaint there was mention about not having written approval. Every transaction that we complete requires a customer to sign a credit application that discloses the possibility of an affiliate company pulling the customers credit. In addition to this form, we explained to the customer when we gave her the options to proceed that the transaction would be going to an outside company to review. We apologize that we were unable to complete a transaction for this customer. We wanted to move forward internally which is why we encouraged the customer to do the site and get the funding done but when the customer refused we had no choice. Thank youNational Funding

Mr. [redacted] and [redacted] Construction have been
removed from our marketing lists and a letter has been sent out today (December
16, 2014). Total removal may take 60-90 days, and after this time Mr. [redacted]
will not receive any more mail. We would also like to assure Mr. [redacted] that no credit line has been opened in his name, as our mail piece is simply a membership card with no magnetic strip or signature strip on the back. To activate the account, additional information would have been required from [redacted] Construction. We obtain our business information from [redacted] and check additional sources, such as the Secretary of State.

justify;"> Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Mr. [redacted] received a membership card in the mail, not a credit card. While there are design similarities, the differences between what we mail and a credit card are significant:  The National Funding marketing piece contains no association logo ([redacted], [redacted], etc.), and there is neither a magnetic strip nor a signature strip on the back of this card.  [redacted]’s business was prequalified for our membership card based on the business information provided to us by [redacted].   To activate the account, additional information would have been required from [redacted].  We also check additional business sources, such as the Secretary of State, to prevent fraud. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not completely resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. While I am glad that the business has agreed to remove my name and that of my business from its records, I have already received a second mailing from the same company with the same misleading content, same extremely large “pre-approved credit line” and a longer answer-by date.  This has absolutely ZERO to do with [redacted] - this has to do with financial solicitation which, if not specifically illegal, is certainly skirting the law. Revdex.com needs to step up and investigate this business, or turn its investigation over to the proper authorities, and take the Revdex.com logo off this company’s solicitations.
Regards,
[redacted]

I have LM for the Revdex.com Monday  and have not heard back. I cannot respond anything further than to say that we are unable to complete a loan for this customer and we wish him the best of luck in the future.

Thank you

Thank you for bringing this matter to our

Mr. [redacted] received a membership card in the
mail, not a credit card.  As the complaint suggests, mailing of
unsolicited credit and debit cards is an illegal practice.  National
Funding has never sent such an offer.  While there are design similarities,
the differences between what we mail and a credit card are significant:
The National Funding marketing piece contains no association logo (Visa,
Mastercard, etc.), and there is neither a magnetic strip nor a signature strip
on the back of this card.  Furthermore, the card specifically states that
it is a ‘membership card, not a credit card.’  The package is designed to
gain interest in our financing services, and is a commonly used format in the
financial services industry.
[redacted]’s business was prequalified for our
membership card based on the business information provided to us by Dun and
Bradstreet.   To activate the account, additional information would
have been required from [redacted]k.  We also check additional
business sources, such as the Secretary of State.
We apologize for any concerns that our
marketing piece may have caused Mr. [redacted] and we appreciate the opportunity to
address them. We will ensure [redacted] is removed from our system.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.  I do however find it very disappointing that in this day and age of the amazing speed of digital technology, 60-90 days to remove a name from a simple database is not good policy on their part.

Good Morning
We received the customer response. It generally takes 30 days for any mailings to be stopped due to any mailings that may already be at our mailing house. I have confirmed we have this customer marked as do not solicit.
Thank you

A copy of my personal credit report was provided to me. [redacted] did mention personal credit and it was stated that I was denied based on personal credit information. Please see attachments One in which is the credit report  I requested that was pulled and as you see was mine and my wifes Personal credit.
We were miss lead to believe that we were approved and now our credit has suffered.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our

Mr. [redacted] received a membership card in the
mail, not a credit card. He did not receive an application for credit or
for a loan in the mail. The National Funding marketing piece contains no
association logo ([redacted], etc.), and there is neither a magnetic
strip nor a signature strip on the back of the card mailed with our letter. There
is also no application attached to our mailing.

National Funding, Inc. is a financial company
which has offered alternative financial solutions to small business owners for
over 15 years, and is not a “phishing” scam.

The purpose of asking for Mr. [redacted]’s
account number was to locate his record in our system to ensure removal of the
proper record. This account number is a reference number, not a credit card
number. Upon offering this information, Mr. [redacted]’s account would not have
been activated, it would have been removed properly from our system.

Mr. [redacted]’s record has now been located and
removed. Total removal from our system can take 60-90 days. After this time Mr.
[redacted] will not receive any more mailings.

We apologize for any concerns our marketing
piece may have caused, and we encourage Mr. [redacted] to contact Dunn&Bradstreet
directly to resolve any incorrect business information, as this may be listed
with additional sources as well.

I am very pleased with national funding, with your help I could increase my business. [redacted] is very communicative and friendly and has been a very quick and easy process

I have reviewed the response...

made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[ National Funding's response is half right; they talked at me. There wasn’t what anyone I know would call a “conversation” with me at all. Getting this “resolved” as the response says, would have been covering the dealers’ holding fee that they incurred by holding it over 2 weeks for their false information that they would be funding and sending half up front, reimbursing my company for our time & mileage to look at the two vehicles which wouldn’t had been done if the loan wasn’t technically “approved”, and reimbursing everyone the notary fees they incurred in the process. The fact of the matter is they misrepresented themselves to me through the entire process. Telling me I’m “Approved” for around $35,000 and to “go find vehicles.” Also, asking me to fill out paperwork to facilitate title transfers and power of attorney’s to finalize said “approved” loan after finding specific vehicles. Then taking up the sellers time with filling out power of attorney’s for said vehicles including Electronic Funds Transfer information for at least one of the sellers. Keeping everyone involved in a holding pattern waiting for dispersal of funds from the “approved” loan, for multiple weeks for which never came even though, telling the sellers and myself, that things were moving forward with the “approved” loan and that money should be sent soon when anyone asked. Then later ask for some other papers to verify my business bank accounts which were provided including bank manager contact info. Only to then pull funding at the close of the end of the next of the business day which was the last day of the week. Asking my company to submit a new application to run credit once again, with a vice president of my company which was disclosed at time of the original application, but I was told more then once he wouldn’t need to be on the documents. It was at this time I chose to file a complaint with the Revdex.com because I felt as though my business, and the businesses / persons I was trying to do business with, was being jerked around with no end in sight. The following Monday came and I got no answer from our loan manager when I called. I called his supervisor as well. It was at this time I called from my business’ California business phone number and he picked up right away, telling me that he would call me back. That he had to respond and deal with my Revdex.com complaint while also contacting under writers about the new application. I never got to speak with that rep again. A different rep called me. This new rep said they weren’t going to fund and told me to look elsewhere. I thoroughly believe that if I had not filed this complaint that they would still be trying to get my business and jerking me around more in the process. There were times when I would go a few days without hearing anything. There were also times when my calls weren’t being answered or returned. When I would call from one of my out of state phone numbers, magically, my calls would be answered without delay. This whole dispute could have been avoided had the company been honest that the initial funding approval was not really an approval. I would not have wasted both myself and Vice President's time driving 4 hours each way to look at different vehicles multiple times, nor wasted anyone’s time with holding vehicles. I would have looked for funding elsewhere to whom would actually fund what they say they will before looking at any vehicles anywhere.]
