National Funding, Inc. goes through a detailed
process when approving loans for applicants. While Mr. [redacted] did receive a
pre-qualified offer, it is untrue that anyone could provide information and
receive a small business loan in his name. We obtain our business information
from [redacted] and the information required from an applicant must
be correct and verifiable. If someone were to steal Mr. [redacted]’s mail and apply
for a loan, we would recognize this as fraud based on further review and other
required information. We have the safety of our customers in mind, and our
mailing is not meant to threaten the well-being of recipients – it is simply a
marketing piece that entails public information.
 
If Mr. [redacted] has any further questions, we
encourage him to contact us by phone at (888) 733-2383 to speak with one of our
customer service representatives. We also suggest that he contact [redacted] customer service department at (800) 234-3867 in order to correct or remove any
information he does not want as public record.
 
We have removed Mr. [redacted] and [redacted] from our mailing list. Total removal may take 60-90
days, and after this time Mr. [redacted] will no longer receive solicitations.
 
We apologize for any concerns that our
marketing piece may have caused Mr. [redacted] and we appreciate the opportunity to
