Nationwide Debt Management Solutions Reviews (218)

I have reviewed the call in question that took place on 05/24/11:am pacificThe representative asked for an email address to expedite delivery of the requested letter, the entirety of the conversation was a lot of round and roundWith previous conversations met with yelling and hangups
SIC: 05/16/11:07:SKC *** : *** ID ** SAID NO THANK YOU THEN STARTED YELLING AND HUNG UP, SIC: 05/20/16:01:SK*** * *** ID- *** SD DONT TALK TO ME AND TOLD ME NOT TO CALL HER, SAID HE DIDNT SPK WITH ANYONE IN OUR OFFICE, BEGAN YELLING - TERMINATED CALLThe letter was sent as requested on 05/24/As the representative said on 05/24/in her conversation with *** ***, The letter was already sent on 05/10/and again on 05/24/No threat or hint of lawsuit was made

There is no evidence contact was made with
*** *** or any other persons responsible for this account prior
to 10/02/08:44:36, the contact where ***'s spouse called our
officesShe called a second time: 10/02/08:49:asking for the
representative's information and hung upAll other contact attempts were met
with voicemail, answering machine, or *** 'working in the shop and cannot come
to the phone' hence the call back messagesBoth recordings for the only
two contacts have been reviewed personallyAt all times *** maintained a
professional tone and never raised his voice despite being shouted at and over
A variety of payment methods were offered as alternatives due to Mr and Ms ***
not having a checking account, all of which were met with escalating aggression
and abuseI currently have both recordings saved and believe at this time only
written correspondence should be used by either party

In this case yes the consumer is correct with regard to my employeesI should have gotten that correctI was addressing another matter and accidentally typed *** instead of ***Apologieswith that being said, the Revdex.com has all the recordings and I am sorry if it seems unprofessional when stating the facts; however if the debtor is alleging that we stated calling on behalf of spotloan when the recordings clearly say regarding her spotloan account, what would you call itFurther, My title is there "chief executive officer" yet once again the debtor wants to correct my grammar when she states "chief financial officer" when it clearly stats otherwise, maybe this is the problemObviously the phone records and recordings ( in the possession of the Revdex.com) do not lie nor does my titleit is clear the consumer is seeing and hearing what she wants to other than the factsand to think all we are asking her to do is pay what she legally owes and iif the call would have been handled professionally from her, maybe all of this could have been avoided, not to say we could not have handled it a bit more professionally as wellThis is my final response to this matter!

We have removed the numbers as requested and no further contact will be made to Mrs***All our calls are recorded for quality control and it is alleged that Mrs*** was screening her own callsBe that as it may, the number has been removed and we will no longer attempt to reach Mrs
*** Although the calls will stop we will continue to pursue the recovery of the furniture of which we believe to be in Mrs*** possessionMaybe she should speak to *** *** for further clarification

I am rejecting this response because though I am satisfied with the removal of the phone numbers, but I have not received anything from Nationwide DMS in regards to an account with them I doubler-checked all of my recent mail and bills again, and I do not have anything from them I would like to have another copy sent to me so I can address the matter appropriately Thank you!

I have reviewed related call recordings for calls concerning this complaint and attached the call in question for review***, *** and *** *** The 'employee' that *** was 'transferred to abruptly' was ***, a collections managerFor quality control collection managers at
Nationwide Debt Management Solutions routinely monitor collection calls and assist in covering details which may not have been stated clearly or pointed out during the callAs *** was skeptical of the identity of out company *** felt it prudent to add a second voice to assure ***Unfortunately she seems to become more skeptical and and less willing to discuss her optionsIn my opinion *** and *** handled the call professionally and at no time harassed or demeaned *** and by the conclusion of the call the documentation in writing she asked for had already been requested of the administration team

I am rejecting this response because: on the initial recorded call I was totally in shock and really confused about the situation, yet you harassed me about taking away my driver license and garnish my wages also indicated there will be hold on whatever DMV Veichle I had registered Still harassing me to settle even though I clearly stated in the recording I was confused and shocked, so that being said I contacted my sister and informed her what was going on and that I was confused, in which she called and identified herself as my sister to help me obtain a better understanding and detailed information

I am
rejecting this response because:
It does not satisfy why they called my daughter on the same day they already talked to me on the phoneI need an explanation why there was a need to call any other numbers when they had already established contact
this is a violation of my privacy for them to be calling around AFTER they had alredy contacted me

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

Mr ***, You account has been moved to a senior manager and we have put all efforts on hold for the duration of monthYou may of course reach out and speak directly to Mr *** *** any time you wish to discuss the matter furtherI am in the process of reviewing call recordings from the
agent previously assigned your account and will be taking any actions necessary based on my findingsWhile the CEO does not take calls personally we do have senior managers and executives that do address customer concerns directly when there is any dissatisfaction on any levelAs Mr *** is one such person and very courteous he will be your go to guy to ensure all future communication is handled with confidence and professionalism while providing the personal touch we strive to provide every consumer we speak with

I am rejecting this response because: I spoke with the *** *** at my place of employment between September and October before I asked my wife to call the companyI told *** *** that he's risking me losing my job by calling as I'm a welderApparently, this company isn't recording their communications as they state they are doingAs I requested before, I want no contact from Nationwide Debt Management to my place of employment nor my wife's phoneHave them to return my case back to the owner or to another agencyThey're continuously lying about their method of contact and response to me and by meThat's misrepresentation at its best

I am rejecting this response because: I still do not feel this is acceptableAgain, I would not like this business to call my place of business or family membersI have not received any mail from this companyAlthough, I understand that is not their fault, either is it mineI do not accept calls from people that do not give good information on my voicemail or that are rude when they speak to people

There was no text message sent to the *** *** by our company. Unfortunately Mr***’s understanding of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Washington State law is incorrect. As text messages are allowed by Washington State law in the attempts to collect a debt but Nationwide
Debt Management Solutions does not participate in this practice. The initiating a call to a cell phone is also allowed by the State of Washington. There has been no exoneration of this debt by us or provided to us by our client or *** ***. Currently Mr*** is in violation of Washington State Law RCW 46.63.030. If Mr*** has any information showing otherwise we need it provided to us or we will continue our collections efforts

What is reprehensible about this entire erroneous complaint is the fact that this debtor is so high and mighty with her colorful delusions of grandeur, it is quite sickeningIn addition to piggy-backing on the folks that file complaints when the default without a single payment, and she is admitting to hiding behind the statute of limitations, note, just because someone has no right to bring legal action, does not mean the debtor does not owe the money which is why the credit bureau is years and not 3-so creditors can get the true picture of which this person is attempting to hide behindThis is most certainly not the case hereIn this case this was opened in mid and the last payment was early and factually a letter was sent in may In closing I think it is morally reprehensible for this debtor to not pay something that improved her quality of lifeMaybe that will jog her memory as to what this is forLastly, she has never made an attempt to call and resolve the billshe could have easily requested anything through our website and even handled the bill on the website

Ms ***, I apologize for any feeling of discomfort you may have felt in getting your messagesI have reviewed the call logs and documentation associated with your account and am confused as to why you would receive multiple messages in a day from your coworkersThe phone number for your
place of employment had already been removed by the representative assigned to your accountThe records do no show multiple calls to your place of employment during any given day nor will you receive another at that number from anybody at our offices

The work phone has been removed from our records and they have been updated to not call in the futureAs to the allegation of frequency called, there is not evidence in either our phone records or software which our representatives use that substantiates the claim of multiple calls to the employer
per day much less four on any given day I do see that after several unsuccessful attempts to reach *** at residence and employer, the representative then attempted to reach ***'s boss for a verification of employmentNot at all uncommon given the inability to reach her at any number no matter when contact was attempted At no point in time did *** return any calls or answer unless pick up hang ups are to be countedAs the identity of the person doing this cannot be determined attempts to very employment and locate viable contact numbers were attempted also without successIf contacted by *** and so requested we will gladly furnish verification of the debt owed including to whom and how much the balance was when opened and the current disposition of the balanceThank you

Unfortunately per California state law the party has days to report to the Department of Motor Vehicles they have sold a vehicle with a release of liability. As admitted by *** this was not done and done after the vehicle was towed and the tow company notified them certified mail they
were in possession of the vehicle. We understand the frustration but we can only pursue who is the legal owner per the documents at that current time of the occurrence. We cannot pursue someone because they realize they did not follow the law after the fact. There are many occurrences of fraud in this type of situation. We offered to have them get the new party to call us and work it out. At no time was anyone told their license would be taken and suspend their registration, that accusation is false. It was explained if it was pursued that with the legislation being pursued it could affect their ability to register a vehicle in the future. We understand how this can be misconstrued and are taking measures to ensure this does not happen again. We do not report anything to the credit bureaus unless a judgment is pursued and obtained

Ms ***, Both of your accounts have been closed with out offices as paid prior and Richard has been sent through remedial trainingI am sincerely sorry for any confusion or frustration caused by his overlooking your sons ageThis has been documented and Richard has been made aware of what this
level of complacency can createWe have also spoken with our client and are working on stream lining the payment and dispute reporting process to combat calls made on accounts already paid to a different entityThank you for your patience and understanding

I have reviewed the accountas always there are two sides to the storyI have the consumer calling twice to discuss possible credit ramifications and then ended both calls by hanging upPrior to hanging up on us it was determined that this was for her daughters braces and that it had
been paid on for yearsConsumer stated that would not pay as she never got a billWe are a non credit reporting agency and we would be more than happy to help her resolve this small balance account prior to the account being recalled and placed with a credit reporting agency

I am rejecting this response because: I spoke with The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) on two separate occasions now regarding this matter and each time I was provided the same informationThe release of liability (ROL) was ACCEPTED with DMV and it is VALID as of the sale dateAfter I got off the phone with your representative, who was threatening me, I called DMV and explained the whole situation as explained to your representative (pull the recording)DMV stated that regardless of when a ROL is filed they use the sale date as my last having interest in the vehicleI explained that I was being contacted by a representative from your company and they told me to let you know that the ROL is VALID as of the sale dateI apologize for having to keep repeating myself that the ROL is effective as of the sale date but I don’t think that you understandI was then told by your representative that tow companies are allowed to go by the file date and not what DMV’s has set forth as a POLICY for ACCEPTING and processing a ROLIn my fear of all this mess I contacted the DMV Motor Carrier and they stated that your representative stating that tow companies can choose what date to use was incorrect and that they do not have the authority to choose which date they would like to use, if you do not know, tow companies are regulated by DMV Motor CarrierFurthermore, your representive stated to me that if we did not pay you my license would be suspended and so would any registrations in my nameHopefully you are not aware of these scare tactics your company uses but if you do not believe me you can pull the recording for that as wellAdditionally, your representative provided me the street name (Fair Oaks) of where the new owner lives, before I sent him a copy of the ROL, with the hopes that I would assist him with getting this bill paidHe was also going to give me the four phone numbers on file but stated he would after I emailed him the ROL so I could tell him which belonged to the owner I’m sure that was a violation of the owner of the vehicles privacy as wellI am in the process of obtaining a copy of the ROL that was filed and accepted with DMV and will provide you a copy as soon as I can do you can then go after the correct owner of the vehicleI will be contacting the Federal Communication Commission, as debt collectors are regulated by them, to ensure my experiences with your company are considered scare tactics
