Nationwide Debt Management Solutions Reviews (218)

Review: Harassing calls at work and requesting employment information from my employer. Requesting info. be sent to [redacted] On January 6, 2014 I received a call from my supervisor who advised me to call a [redacted] at ###-###-#### with Nationwide in reference to a personal matter. I called the number and was advise by "[redacted]" that they was not Nationwide but a debt collection agency. I told "[redacted]" not to contact my job to send me information in writing by mail verifying the debt and do not call my job. On January 8, 2014 "[redacted]" called again requesting my employer fax number. After receiving the fax number from my supervisor "[redacted]" or someone from NDMS (3609 Bradshaw Rd. Suite H-229 Sacramento Ca. 95827 however, the letter head logo reads Debt Management Nationwide Solutions)faxed over a document requesting that my employer fax a employment verification with a Urgent -Please Expedite message also requesting personal information about how much I earn and if I have any garnishments. I have NOT authorized NDMS nor Debit Management Nationwide Solutions to contact my employer to obtain any personal information in which they are requesting. Especially since I have not been provided with an itemized list that the debt exist nor information on who it is that

I'm suppose to owe. I'm asking again to cease any form of contacting my employer period. Any respectable business would have no problem with this request. If feel that NDMS or Debt Management Solution his attempting to strong arm me and my employer by demanding information without providing proof of the debt.Desired Settlement: No settlement requested because it is unknown if the debt is owed. Provide a itemized list that the debt is owed my mail or cease contacting by mail, email, fax,or phone period.

Response:

Thank you for the opportunity to address this unanswered case. Numerous attempts were made to contact Ms [redacted] through phone numbers she provided when opening her account. All attempts to reach her were met with heavy screening except one instance where as we were to reach her. This initial contact was met with “Send me something” and a abrupt hang up as a refusal to verify her current address or phone numbers. A verification of employment was faxed as we still could not even get her to verify she was who we were trying to reach. If Ms [redacted] can confirm her mailing address is still current I would be happy to ensure she is sent a validation of debt showing the balance of her account and the original creditor. She of course is welcome to reach out to [redacted], our VP in charge of collections operations, to address any further concerns with the balance or account details. In the absence of any phone calls from Ms [redacted] we will conduct all contact via mail.

Review: this company has been repeatedly calling me, my family and my work for a debt I owe, though they won't disclose what debt it is. Recently they called my mother-in-law about 4 times within 20 minutes. she picked up and was pretty much belittled and insulted by the person on the other end. I want this compnay to stop calling any phone number but the number in my information.I want them to erase any other number from their list and conduct themselves in a more professional manner the next time they call. thank you in advance.Desired Settlement: as stated above I want them to lose all numbers except for the one I included in my complaint and I want them to conduct themselves in a more professional manner the next time they call and that they be told if the harassment does not stop me, and my family, will take legal actions. thank you

Business

Response:

No information is divulged unless we can confirm the identity of the party reached. This has been impossible to date as every attempt at contact to date was flagged as heavy screening and hang ups without I.D. At not time do our call records show even 4 call attempts a day to any of the numbers let alone 4 times in a 20 minute period. Mr [redacted] has already been sent our initial demand which shows the original creditor and the date the account was opened along with charge off amount and other details. As a precaution his account was moved to the office manager's desk to ensure the appropriate level of attention.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I know what my mother-in-law's caller id says, and I do not recall being told what the debt was. I want nationwide to email me the info at [redacted] and I still want them to remove any numbers they have on file except mine, which is [redacted]. that is the only number they have the right to call. thank you

Business

Response:

I have attached the VOD and initial letters as they were sent to your mailing address. As said previously all numbers have been removed from our system. My findings on the calls placed by my representatives was based on reviews of call records and system notes which are generated every time the dial icon is clicked. I recognize that technology is foul able so if you can provide dates and times of the calls as well as the originating phone number I will consider it and take action based on that.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: the following attachments were sent to me. there is no[redacted] here. I am [redacted] and I live in [redacted] thank you

Review: Mr. [redacted] contacted my place of employment and left his name and company he represents, "Nationwide DMS" and contact information. When I spoke with Mr. [redacted] he implied a series of statements such as "checking in on assets," and "verification of employment." I have asked Mr. [redacted] to no longer contact my employer and he did not give me a straight answer. I have shared the contact information of my representative with Mr. [redacted] and he and others associated should continue to use that number. It is not within your best interest to contact my employer. You have already breached third party disclosure by referring to the name of your organization and have already referred to "employment verification" which you cannot do because I have not opened a line of credit with you.Desired Settlement: No further contact by Nationwide DMS to my employer. I also ask that you continue to work with my representative who has power of attorney on my behalf.

Business

Response:

As requested the employer contact information we have on file has been removed and the file has been marked as no employer contact. As far as the legality of leaving our company name in phone messages or conducting employment verification, we are required by law to leave or company name at every contact as to not deceive or confuse. Employment verification are conducted to ensure our information is current and to provide the best options personalized to each person's individual needs.

Review: My company got involved with Nationwide through an employee of Data Central, a company that was referred to us by our current outsourced billing company to do collections. [redacted] called us while he still worked for Data Central telling us that he was leaving Data Central to start or merge with Nationwide. Contracts were sent to begin working with Nationwide Debt and they were supposed to begin collections for us in January 2015. At least 10 months went by with no communication with Nationwide until a customer of ours told us that he had paid Nationwide money to rectify a debt. Since we had not received any money from this collection, we attempted to contact Nationwide to see why they hadn't paid us our portion of the collected funds. We communicated with a [redacted], who told us that the reason why is that they didn't have our contact info to forward payments. That didn't sound right since we had signed contracts to do business. [redacted] also advised that this [redacted] had stolen information from them and was scamming them out of hundreds of thousands of dollars and currently have charges against [redacted]. It was then escalated to an [redacted] who assured us payment of what had been collected but before he did he wanted to see the contract that was signed between us and Nationwide. That also didn't sound right as they should have all of this information on file. He also copied his attorney Russ Fields so that he is aware of the conversation. I later replied to all of them with a cease and desist letter.Desired Settlement: Our desired resolution is that they pay the entire amount that is owed to us and to cease and desist from contacting our customers.

Business

Response:

[redacted] was the contact for setting up the agreement with [redacted]. All remits and placements were handled through FTP (File transfer protocol) site [redacted] had setup and provided to all parties. The funds for remits to comprising [redacted]'s referral fee and [redacted]'s net share were wired to [redacted] for disbursement. All [redacted] account have been closed and unworked since [redacted] parted and it was first discovered the breach in agreement. The PDF provided in the complaint factually was provided by us through [redacted] in the interest of getting this matter resolved and persuing monies owed to us and [redacted]. The report was emailed to [redacted] at [redacted] using email address [redacted]. We had also requested any information on [redacted] as there were many account placed with [redacted]'s shop under the agreement he comissioned, none of which had been payed or reported.

Review: I received a call at my job from [redacted] from Nationwide Debt Management Solution in Sacramento California. He contacted my job looking for a co-worker. I also received notice from other co-workers that this individual is contacting them as well. I made it clear that "I can not permit such phones calls at work".

Due to this individual harassment, my blood pressure has elevated. He made a statement "what is wrong with you people". I am not really sure how to receive that. I am on 3 different blood pressure medicines and this young man was loud and disrespectful and I immediately had to calm down after speaking with him.Desired Settlement: Please do not contact me concerning anyone else!!!!!!!

Business

Response:

My staff and I have been able to locate any account based on the information provided. Please provide additional information so I may research this claim further. Date, time and phone number called as well as the party [redacted] attempted to reach.

Review: Firstly, I received a numerous of calls from [redacted] at my place of employment (713-673-6383)please redact phone number. That is my biggest issue as I'm the breadwinner of my household. I do recall telling him that I was at work and not comfortable with the repeated calls day after day and how my job is a very dangerous job working as a welder. However, I asked my wife, [redacted] to call and find out exactly what these calls were pertaining to. She did just that and only to be met with a crass speaking [redacted] My wife explained to [redacted] that we do not own any checking accounts nor debit cards. That our way of paying bills are with cash or money orders to which he replies, "Don't tell me you don't have a checking account, debit card and you're not going to pay with a money order. But I can tell you go get a trust fund from Bank of America, a prepaid debit card or a checking account to pay this debt. All while talking over her and refusing to hear what she has to say!" [redacted]'s tone was aggressive, boisterous and demanding. He also refused at my wife's request to send documentation about the debt. [redacted] also hung up on my wife as she told him that she was going to record his nasty ways and refusal of her requests as a consumer. His belligerence in totally intolerable![redacted] also got upset that my wife over talked him and that's when his bully typed attitude became unnoticed before he hung up.MORE CALLS TO MY WORKPLACE EVER AGAIN AND ALL REQUESTS TO THIS DEBT NEED TO BE IN WRITING! NO EXCEPTIONS!Desired Settlement: Absolutely no calls to my place of employment and all further requests or information pertaining to this debt in writing. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Business

Response:

At no point in time was contact established by outgoing call from our offices. Calls to Place of employment as well as every other number only resulted in messages. On 02 October 2015 at 08:44 am pacific time an incoming call from [redacted] spouse was received by our offices. She was given every form of repayment option and declined every one and ultimately hung up yelling neither her nor Akil had any intention of resolving the obligation. At no point prior the October 2nd was any contact made either verbal or written let alone requesting no calls to any phone numbers. As I consider this complaint such a request, all phone numbers have been removed and our efforts will center around written correspondence.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I spoke with the [redacted] at my place of employment between September 22 and October 2 before I asked my wife to call the company. I told [redacted] that he's risking me losing my job by calling as I'm a welder. Apparently, this company isn't recording their communications as they state they are doing. As I requested before, I want no contact from Nationwide Debt Management to my place of employment nor my wife's phone. Have them to return my case back to the owner or to another agency. They're continuously lying about their method of contact and response to me and by me. That's misrepresentation at its best.

Business

Response:

There is no evidence contact was made with

[redacted] or any other persons responsible for this account prior

to 10/02/2015 08:44:36, the contact where [redacted]'s spouse called our

offices. She called a second time: 10/02/2015 08:49:17 asking for the

representative's information and hung up. All other contact attempts were met

with voicemail, answering machine, or [redacted] 'working in the shop and cannot come

to the phone' hence the call back messages. Both recordings for the only

two contacts have been reviewed personally. At all times [redacted] maintained a

professional tone and never raised his voice despite being shouted at and over.

A variety of payment methods were offered as alternatives due to Mr and Ms [redacted]

not having a checking account, all of which were met with escalating aggression

and abuse. I currently have both recordings saved and believe at this time only

written correspondence should be used by either party.

Review: I have been harassed by this company for a week now. After telling them not to call my work they still do.

They keep calling my cell phone and work phone. I've told them every time to stop calling me at work but they still do. They are calling about something that's been on my credit report since 2009. They want me to pay the full amount of $1,000 and I said I don't have that kind of money. They wanted to know my employers name and bank information. I was told that they are going to take me to court if I don't pay. It's a week that I've been getting all these calls. Desired Settlement: I just want them to stop calling me. I work pay check to pay check and live on my own. I dont have $1,000 sitting around.

Contact Name and Title: [redacted], C.O.O.

Contact Phone: (XXX) XXX-XXXX

Contact Email: [redacted]@nationwidedms.com

After reviewing the call records and documentation I have found no instance where Ms [redacted] has been in contact with any employee of our office. In the 4 months my office has had this account 5 voice-mails have been left and one attempt at her place of employment. I can sympathize with Ms [redacted]'s financial situation and if she is willing to discuss her obligations we can work out an arrangement suitable for both parties.

Review: I have been dealing with a representative by the name of [redacted] in regards to an old debt with [redacted]. After Mr. [redacted] called an old number at my previous job site several times which prompted notification from a prior colleague as well as embarrassment, I agreed to a payment plan with him. Initially, he suggested that I apply for a payday loan which carries an interest rate of over 50%! I advised him that these types of loans are illegal in my state. In any event, I agreed to a payment arrangement at which time all of my personal banking information was provided to the company and the date of withdrawal was scheduled for 12/31/15. Beginning on 12/29/15, Mr. [redacted] continued to contact me on my cell phone ( a total of 3 calls were received between 12/29 and 12/30). When I finally contacted him back on 12 /30, as I did not understand as to why he continued to contact me, he informed me that he had contacted my bank and the funds were not there. The payment was scheduled for 12/31.. There are no liens on my account issued by this company.. Mr. [redacted] did not have any authorization to attempt to withdraw funds from my account prior to 12/31 and authorization was never provided to him to inquire about my account balance. My experience with Mr. [redacted] has been everything but pleasurable. He attempts to speak in a condescending manner and is not cognizant of what customer service entails. Despite being responsible for this debt, I am deserving of respect and feel that if Mr. [redacted] is not content with his place of employment and the duties that it entails, maybe he should return to an institution of higher education and increase his employment potential.Desired Settlement: I do not want any further contact with Mr. [redacted]. I am to be contacted via email or by the cell phone number which has been confirmed with him. I do not want any of the representatives contacting my bank inquiring about my balances. Submit the payments on the dates that have been agreed upon which was 12/31/15 followed by the last business day of each month. I do not need a reminder call! Send Mr. [redacted] to a training that will enhance his customer service skills.

Business

Response:

[redacted] did call the bank to verify funds, a practice that is common as electronic payments cost money to process regardless of being successful or not and does not require a lien to do. This does not mean we attempted or had any intention of running the payment prior to the scheduled pay date. The reminder calls are both standard practice and company policy as a courtesy which [redacted] waived on 12/30/2015. At that time the account was noted for no further reminder calls. I have assigned the account to a different agent and notified [redacted]'s direct line supervisor as to the content of this complaint and how to address it with [redacted].

Review: Mr. [redacted] called my place of work harassing me. When I told him to call me on my cell phone he began threatening me with raising the cost of my "debt" and with calling my HR and pay managers tomorrow if I don't call back after work. Again I said I can give my cell phone number, and he just stated that I needed to call by five or they were coming after me. He also then stated "not to ask for him because he could tell we wouldn't get along".Desired Settlement: Removed from this as I already have plans set up with the supposed place Mr. [redacted] was "collecting" from, and for him to leave my workplace out of the matter, and to stop threatening people.

Business

Response:

The calls have been reviewed and pain a completely different picture. Advising of the accruing interest when conveying the account balance is not insinuation or statement of penalty, it s full and truthful disclosure of the current status of the account. The call in question was the first and only attempt to the place of employment as the number was factually removed during the call at Mr [redacted]'s request. Since then there has been no evidence or notice of the direct payment he has stated to be making. We will keep an eye out for it and advise our client of this matter.

Review: This company, specifically a man calling himself "[redacted]" keeps repeatedly calling my place of employment, where I cannot take personal calls. When asked if this was a school matter (I'm a teacher), he told the secretary it was (which is obviously a lie). He started telling her something about me being investigated for fraud, (another lie, and a violation of my privacy rights). He also left a rambling message on my cell phone referring to "because of your employment and because of the property..." which made no sense. I have no documentation of any business or debt involving Nationwide Debt Management Solutions, and if there is some sort of business involving me, then I would like to have something delivered by U.S. Mail, but NOT to be contacted at my place of employment or by telephone to myself, relatives, or employer.Desired Settlement: I want this company to stop calling my place of employment, to stop calling my personal telephone lines, any numbers of relatives, and to notify me by U.S. Mail only of any business they have with me. At that time, IF it's a legitimate debt, I will contact them about it.

Business

Response:

All phone numbers have been removed from your account and I have assigned it to the floor manager for monitoring during my investigation into your claims. Our initial demand letter was sent to [redacted] on November 11 2014 by our mailing service. Please refer to that letter for clarification of the original creditor, amount owed, and date the account was opened.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because though I am satisfied with the removal of the phone numbers, but I have not received anything from Nationwide DMS in regards to an account with them. I doubler-checked all of my recent mail and bills again, and I do not have anything from them. I would like to have another copy sent to me so I can address the matter appropriately. Thank you!

Business

Response:

Again, the phone numbers have been removed as requested. A Copy of the initial letter has been uploaded and can be mailed via usps if needed. If there is anything further I can do to assist in resolving any issues so that we may all move forward I would be happy to help. thank you.

Review: This company has continued to call me on my cell phone and at work. This company has even called and harrassed my family. I cannot continue to be harrassed at work as it could have me terminated.Desired Settlement: I would like for this company to cease and desist from contacting me about an alleged debt.

Business

Response:

I reviewed [redacted]'s account and have ordered no further calls to her place of employment. I see in the last three months she has never returned a single message left. We can provide verification of debt and would gladly forgo calling if Ms [redacted] would call our office and discuss the matter. Without phone contact our options for resolution of the account is limited

I am rejecting this response because: I have not received any written documentation to the alleged debt. Please send documentation to my place of residence.

Sincerely,

Review: A person from this company keeps calling my work. Today, he talked to one of my co-workers and was so ugly to her that she finally hung up on him. Then, he called the main number of the hospital that I work at and asked to speak to my supervisor. He was reportedly rude to everyone he talked to. Now this has all gotten back to one of the doctors that I work for and he is livid and threatening my job.Desired Settlement: I want them to send me a statement of what I owe by mail and I will take care of it. I cannot having them calling my place of employment or I will get fired. Thank you

Business

Response:

I am currently reviewing the calls and recording attached to this account. In the meantime I have assigned this account to another representative and requested an additional copy of the initial letter be sent. There will be no further calls to the employment number by anybody at our offices and my findings will be reviewed with the managers to ensure the highest level of professionalism at all times by all of my employees.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: I returned a phone call to Nationwide Debt Management Solutions on Nov 9th 2015 at 8:26pm EST. An employee, [redacted], from Nationwide Debt Management Solutions answered the phone. [redacted] was asking me questions regarding where I worked and my employers name, as well as, how much money I made. I disregarded answering these questions as they were too personal of information to be provided to some random company and person over the phone. The rise in identity theft is high and providing personal information over the phone is just not safe. When I declined to answer [redacted]'s questions another employee of Nationwide Debt Management Solutions abruptly jumped on the phone and started harassing me. When I asked his name he identified himself as [redacted] as the Collections Manager. He demanded I tell him my work information and personal financial details so they could "help me" with my financial situation. Furthermore, he harassed me by very aggressively telling me I "knew my financial situation and knew what I needed to tell them." [redacted] was demeaning, unprofessional and aggressively harassing me over the phone while [redacted] stayed on the phone acting un-phased and compliant to [redacted]'s aggressiveness.I refuse to be harassed by a stranger claiming to know my financial situation. Clearly, there are enough complaints with Revdex.com regarding this company and their lack of professionalism. Action needs to be taken to stop this once and for all.Desired Settlement: 1) Corrective Action and dismissal to be taken against [redacted], Collections Manager, of Nationwide Debt Management Solutions in Sacramento, California.2) No further contact to myself or employer or family or anything connected to me in anyway shape or form.

Business

Response:

I have reviewed related call recordings for calls concerning this complaint and attached the call in question for review. [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted]. The 'employee' that [redacted] was 'transferred to abruptly' was [redacted], a collections manager. For quality control collection managers at Nationwide Debt Management Solutions routinely monitor collection calls and assist in covering details which may not have been stated clearly or pointed out during the call. As [redacted] was skeptical of the identity of out company [redacted] felt it prudent to add a second voice to assure [redacted]. Unfortunately she seems to become more skeptical and and less willing to discuss her options. In my opinion [redacted] and [redacted] handled the call professionally and at no time harassed or demeaned [redacted] and by the conclusion of the call the documentation in writing she asked for had already been requested of the administration team.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:The actions taken by the employees of this company during our phone call broke the law as declared by the Fair Credit Debt Collections Practices Act. "No debt collector may shame or harass" a customer. I was harassed by [redacted] during our phone call. His comments and tactics were bullying, shaming and harassing.I do not agree with their response to my complaint.Regards,[redacted]

Business

Response:

I am truly sorry [redacted] feels this way. If she is willing to point out off the recording where she was belittled or harassed I will gladly take appropriate action with any involved employees. I have already reviewed the recording wit the other executives as well as Dominic and this case has been added to his personnel file for future reference. “In regards to no further contact to [redacted] we will place a Cease and Desist order on her file on any further communication to her and other parties related to her file”.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I would like a copy of my phone call recording of the event in question. I do not see a copy of it available to me in this complaint. Please advise.

Review: I contacted Nationwide Debt Management Solutions (NDMS) to get info on an alleged debt and spoke to [redacted]. I asked him to send me validation of the debt and told him I would contact him when I received it. Within a few days he again attempted to contact me via phone but due to illness I was unable to speak to him. A few days later someone from NDMS called a family member of mine, told my family member about the debt and asked that they relay a message to me that they were trying to reach me. The following day I contacted [redacted] at NDMS and explained that his company had violated the law by telling my family member about the debt. He became indignant and denied this ever happened. When I told him that said family member had taken a written message and also had the company's phone number was on his caller ID, [redacted] then agreed it had happened. I explained to him that I still had not received validation of the debt and directed him to send it to me certified mail (which never happened).Desired Settlement: I expect that NDMS will offer a reasonable settlement amount once they validate the alleged debt, if it IS a valid debt. I am sending a letter to them asking for validation of the debt and also instructing them to not contact me via phone anymore. They also need to know that they are being reported to the FTC and to the Ohio Attorney General's office for violating the law with regards to giving the debt info to my family member.

Business

Response:

I received a phone call from a Miss Sophie which went to voicemail. Soon after, I was contacted by a family member letting me know they had called them as well about my debt. I contacted the company to simply ask them to remove all other phone numbers from my account as I do not wish for them to contact anyone else.

The man who answered on the other line identified himself as "John Call". I was stern in my request and after he assured me no one else would be called on my behalf, he proceeded to ask me about my debt. I am currently paying my past debt as I am able and advised him of the matter. He began attempting to dig into my personal life and when I balked at telling him anything personal, he raised his voice and personally attacked me. He stated that I owed HIM money for the last two years and denied listening to anything I had to say.

I asked to speak with a supervisor or someone else in the office 3 times which he denied. I eventually hung up as there was no reasoning with this person. I waiting about 10 minutes and called back to try and speak with someone else. He answered the phone with a taunting "Have we calmed down yet?".

Whether or not I owe someone money does not make this behavior acceptable. I am contacting the company as well with more information, but this way of doing things is not right. If they harass me, I will report them.

Review: 2012 I had a car repossessed. Contacted by Nationwide DMS in June 2013 and told me they were going to sue me if I did not pay 1000.00.

I believed that Nationwide DMS was a valid collection company and allowed them to debit my checking account on July 1st and July 16th and they had planned to take another draft on August 16th. When I called them to stop the drafts they threatened to sue me again and force me to pay. I told them that I will pay them nothing further because the car was repossessed and I can't afford to pay for a car I do not have. He told me that I have to pay because I am educated and if I did not pay he would take it from me. Below is a copy of the transactions from my account. I will also include my personal checking account where the money was taken from. I should have investigated them before now, but I thought they were legitimate. But paying them put me in a poor financial position and I simply can't afford to do this any more

I cannont afford to pay for a car that I do not have and allowing them to take this money from me has placed me in a significant fiancial hardship and I need my money back. Please assist me in ay way that you can. They have continued to harrass and threaten to take the money from me even without my authorization. I really need assitance to prevent any other drafts from my personal checking account. The phone number that I have called and spoken with [redacted] is XXX-XXX-XXXX. I certainly will appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund of the amount of money drafted from my account and an additional $5000.00 for fraudulent activity, threatening phone calls, and taking money from me that caused placed me in financial hardship to the point of not having money for food, gas, or my current expenses. It was a poor decision on my part, but when I decided to inquire and ask that the payments be stopped [redacted] the individual that I spoke with indicated that he would take the money from me if I did not pay the next payment and set up monthly payments for the balance. I have not had this car in over a year and I can't afford to pay for something I do not have. At the time it was taken from me I was unemployed and could no longer afford the car payments. I have not yet maintained financial stability and I am still paying on many bills that fell behind. This is money I simply do not have and cannot afford to give away to scammers. Please help me.

Ms [redacted] doubts about the legitimacy of our company is understandable and concerning to me. Her auto deficiency was referred to our attorney for review. According to my records a down payment was negotiated and split into three over three months to afford her smaller payments in light of Ms [redacted]'s other financial obligations. The agent [redacted] had indeed pushed a payment date back two weeks at Ms [redacted]'s request. I will be reviewing [redacted]'s calls for any violation and take appropriate action. If Ms [redacted] has any additional information or wish to contact me directly to resolve these matters my contact information is below.

Review: This company continues to harass me and my PLACE OF WORK and is always very rude-no matter who I speak with!! I have asked them to stop calling and they continue to call daily, often multiple times a day. I was making payments towards this debt until I was no longer able accommodate that amount. I told them I could pay at least $100.00 a month until I either could up that amount or it was paid off but that amount was not good enough for them. I have tried to resolve this issue voluntary however what I can afford to pay and what they want me to pay is not feasible to me. I still have to live and provide for my family. I had originally made at least $600.00 in payments towards a balance that was then around $6000.00 since this account has been in collections and now the balance is up to almost $10,000.00. I have tried numerous times contacting care credit to resolve this issue and they tell me it is out of their hands. I found out today that one they cant threaten me with judgment after somany years in collection and the amount they have is insane and doesnt even match what the credit bureau Equifax has. They have been charging interest and fees for 3 years since the account was originally charged off. I think this is illegal and harassing! YES! I accumulated this debt Im not denying this but what I have a problem with is dont force me to pay something I cant afford to pay and when I offer what I can you dont accept it. Im not trying to get out of paying only trying to pay what I CAN AFFORD!!!!!!!!!Desired Settlement: Stop calling me period on my cell phone and at my job-its rude and unprofessional. Knock of ALL the interest making my balance $6100.00 plus deleteing the $600.00 I have made towards this account since collections and either accept my $100.00 payment from here on out or pay it off yourself. I am a divorced mother on a fixed income trying to keep a roof over my head who pays child support btw. You can either contact me in writing if you want to continue to conduct business with me.

Response:

I just received a call from this company, on my cell phone, trying to get information on a family member who owed a debt. I told them that information would be between the two of them. I was then insulted and by being told that I was not a very good person and then he hung up on me. I called back to get information on who he was and the company he worked for and was told that I talked to a [redacted]. I was now talked to a [redacted]. They could confirm the call to me and said that the recording could be reviewed. I was unaware that I was being recorded on the call but it's amazing to me how shifty these people could be.
