Nationwide Debt Management Solutions Reviews (218)

Please be advised that the almost daily calls has stopped sometime after our complaint being filed....this is all my family and I...was trying to achieve. We will continue to hold onto the voicemail recordings maintain by our phone service provider that were made from the company...we are hopeful that no further action is required. We thank the Revdex.com for your help and assistance.[redacted]Plainfield NJ

Attached are the recordings of all three calls. Here are my findings. To me, it was the ladies getting into it. I do feel as if [redacted] could have handled it differently however I believe the consumer is mis-representing what had happened.Call 1 :is the initial demand to the debtor at her...

job: Debtor said she doesn’t have an account with Spotloan and to please make a note to not call her place of employment. From there they began over talking each other until the inevitable hang up. [redacted] could have handled it differently. [redacted] could have calmly offered to email the VOD (verification of debt) and media (loan Docs) , then closed the call by advising this is being seen as a refusal to pay and offered her to call back after work to address the matter to avoid further action.Call 2:  [redacted] getting VOE (verification of employment) info, then the receptionist blind transferred [redacted] to the debtor. Debtor answered her line… [redacted] “Oh, I wasn’t holding for you, I was holding for HR” and hung upIncoming call: Debtor upset about the 2nd call that got to her. Again, [redacted] reiterated that she only called for a VOE (verification of employment) and hung up…

The Employment and other numbers except home phone has been removed. A copy of the media and letter1 have been attached, these were already mailed to [redacted] on Feb 22 2016 and have not as of today been returned or responded to. I have put a 30 day hold...

on activity with this account to afford time for Casey to review the attached documents and decide how best to proceed.

This complaint holds no merit what so ever. I am submitting the calls so the consumers character can be identified. At no time was any disclosure made to a third party (call attached) further I do not feel as if there was any lack of professionalism. I believe [redacted] would have been a...

bit nicer to the consumer had he not lied about the number of calls made to him and called her a f---ing c--t. (call attached) The bottom line is the consumer is attempting to smear our name and fabricate the facts of the matter. We will no longer be making a call to resolve this matter. Based on the consumers lack of humanity on the phone to our female reps, we have no desire to collect this by making a phone call. we have other means available for folks like this.

Review: An individual named [redacted] from Nationwide Debt Management Solutions has called me & my family repeatedly trying to get money from a debt she says I owe. I am unfamiliar with what she's talking about. Today, when I returned her call to get more information and ask her to send me documents proving what she states that I owe, she said "This is the psychic hotline, have a good day."

I am an elderly woman. Back in December my checking account was compromised and I am naturally skeptical of anyone who is trying to get money over the phone.

This [redacted] person was extremely rude and talked over me and threatened me repeatedly.Desired Settlement: [redacted] or any representative of Nationwide Debt Management Solutions cease and desist immediately from contacting my place of employment and provide me with documentation, in writing, regarding the debt she states I owe.

Business

Response:

We have terminated all work efforts on this account. Claims from suspension to identity theft have been made by [redacted] despite not knowing what account this is and payments having been made to the original creditor. We have mailed the media to [redacted] previously which I have attached here as well for her review. I have reviewed the calls and found no instance where [redacted] behaved as described or made the alleged statements.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:I have not been provided with any "media" OR anything else from this company. [redacted] harassed me AND my coworkers in a very rude and abraisive manner, the last call ending with her saying, "his is the physic network, have a great day" and hanging up on me.I have documentation proving that she has called repeatedly, even questioning my coworkers and supervisors asking them very personal information AFTER she was told NOT to contact my place of employment. The calls came in on a recorded line. The response does not give the name of who responded to the complaint. I suspect that [redacted] herself responded. She failed to provide me with the name of her supervisor and the officers of the company. She is lying. I have documentation that she has harasses me and my coworkers.

If this is the right place Coleen O[redacted] was very help full, polite and made this crappy situation much more tolerable. I wish all debt collectors were like her. I have nothing but positive things to say. Thank You [redacted]

Review: NDMS has been calling me at my place of work for a very long time now and has started to contact agencies at my job that have nothing to do with me such as main lines, and tech support centers. They leave VM messages at these random numbers for anyone to access. Just today I received two calls on a direct line and another call into the tech support center (three calls) they call, if not everyday, very nearly every day and most days for multiple times. My privacy has been exposed. These calls have now been advertised to the whole company due to their visibility and it is very apparent to anyone what these calls are especially with the format of the VMs and the ability for anyone to access and hear them at the main line and requesting strangers at other phones at work to ask for me. They have also requested my boss in the past. It has been a major embarrassment at a minimum and is going to get me fired. This does not seem proper at all. I do not recall receiving any notice in the mail from NDMS. I have researched the company, based on the reviews I have read and the red flags described of abuse and harassment in the reviews and the continued calls into my office I am not comfortable engaging. The excessive calls to my office and random numbers at my office need to stop. Do not contact my place of work again by any number or means.Desired Settlement: Do not contact my place of employment anymore at all via any of the several numbers that have been used. And send me a written confirmation of the debt via USPS to the address of the file NDMS has.

The Employment and other numbers except home phone has been removed. A copy of the media and letter1 have been attached, these were already mailed to [redacted] on Feb 22 2016 and have not as of today been returned or responded to. Review: I was Telephone by this company regarding some sort of collections but I am not familiar with because they would not give me any information. I told them I am Michael averitt they we're not satisfied with that information only. They threatened to harass and call my Father which is 70 years old and has nothing to do with my Affairs or matters. They have completely crossed the line and action needs to be taken immediately you do not harass a 70 year old man for something that his grandson may or may not have done if you have any questions feel free to contact me at [redacted] I called back and spoke to [redacted] that's what he told me his name was he claimed he was [redacted] he also acknowledged that the girl was going to call my father backDesired Settlement: They need to be put out of business but no contact would be preferable since you guys are aware of their Shady practices

Business

Response:

I have reviewed the calls. Each one I listen to contains an obscene amount of profanity injected into the conversation forcibly by Mr [redacted] to the point my representatives terminate the calls only to be called back. Any attempt to verify right party is met with abusive language and irate threats. I have removed the account and assigned it to the highest level floor manager. If Mr [redacted] can conduct himself professionally and identify himself properly we can discuss this matter further so he will not have this matter in his financial life any further.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: they say that I am rude because I am being taunted they threatened to telephone a 39 year old man's father who is 70 with a pacemaker this is the day and age of Fraud and I told them my name they want me to verify all kinds of personal information and I'm not even familiar with this company I am not satisfied with this response I want them to remove my name from your mailing list every time they call me they either hang up or if I actually do talk to someone they get rude when I do not verify [redacted] information I don't know anybody that would acknowledge their [redacted] information in the day and age of fraud there are two sides to every coin unless it's fake I am only rude when people hang up on me or when they are rude to me first I told them clearly that I am [redacted] if you wish to speak to me you have me on the phone that's not good enough for them and that's not my problem I will not verify my [redacted] number

Business

Response:

There are other personal information that may be used to verify identity. Indeed we do live in an age of identity theft and fraud which is why we verify the identity of whom we are speaking prior to discussing any details of any account. Date of birth, mailing address or demonstrating any knowledge of the account can also verify identity. This is done not only for our protections but also the protection of the consumer.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: that is an outright lie they tried to get me to verify [redacted] information I do not know anything about this company and then they threaten to harass a 7 year old man which has nothing to do with my financial affairs I have had some credit issues in the past my credit is fine now and I've never heard of these people I want them to leave me alone and not threaten to harass a 70 year old man I am not satisfied with what they wanted me to give them [redacted] information I told them my name and they did not wish to speak to me unless I gave them [redacted] information in the day and age of fraud I am not giving anybody that information I told the gentleman who I was and if he wanted to talk to me here I am they continue to be rude they call my house and hang up these people have crappy jobs half of them don't care and they're sitting on dialers half of these people are rude they call your house to say hello 10 times of course I called back and then when I try to speak to them like an adult they want me to verify [redacted] information anybody that threaten somebody's family rather it be harassment violence whatever the case is of course that's going to make the call go completely down hill talking about I used obscene language of course I used obscene language you don't threaten to call my father he is 70 years old you do not harass a 70 year old man for a 39 year old man's Affairs and as I stated I have never heard of this company and I will not to this very day verify any [redacted] information based on that fact they should just leave me alone then I am never going to verify any kind of [redacted] information over the telephone to anyone

Review: [redacted] with National Debt Management Solutions has been calling my place of business and leaving messages on my voicemail and I don't even know the debt owed to them or the creditor. Today she asked our operator what kind of business we are. I find that this is none of her business. I went on their website and indicated in writing that they are not to contact my place of business under the Fair Debt Collection Act. This is over the top and I think a violation of my rights. I want this company to be cited for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Act. If I do owe them a debt, I would like to see the debt in writing, but mail not email.Desired Settlement: I don't want this company to contact my job again ever and I want them to be forbidden from reaching out to my anyone at my job or anyone besides me.

Response:

I have reviewed this account in detail. Factually we have been calling The consumer since the beginning of May with the information given by the [redacted] further, on May 10th our letter 1 was mailed to the consumer from our letter vendor and we have record of that should the Revdex.com like to review.. Once again, if the letter was sent and id did not come back, it was received by supreme court ruling. She provided [redacted] as her place of employment to the original creditor. Since we have been unsuccessful in generating a return call after numerous messages to the VERIFIED home phone and since we have no idea what the consumer does for a living there is no harm in asking where they have reached and what they do for work. We attempt to gather data in an attempt to evaluate the ability to pay back the loan. Since we have been trying to reach the consumer for months and the loan was in default within 90 days of the open date, I hardly give these claims much validity. We violated absolutely nothing as it applies to the FDCPA. Once we are asked not to call, we remove the number and that is how the law reads especially since the consumer provided the information in the 1st place. It is also considered an acceptable practice if the consumer is no longer at the listed job, it is implied that she has no issue with being contacted at her workplace should she be delinquent especially when she provided the information to the original creditor. Maybe if she had opened her mail and returned a phone call within 60 days, all of these unfortunate circumstances could have been avoided. Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I still do not feel this is acceptable. Again, I would not like this business to call my place of business or family members. I have not received any mail from this company. Although, I understand that is not their fault, either is it mine. I do not accept calls from people that do not give good information on my voicemail or that are rude when they speak to people.

Business

Response:

I have simply had enough. we will mail the letter and not make another call. Should this not be resolved we have other means of collecting the debt. We are a full service litigation shop and when consumers want to simply do everything possible to avoid resolving there obligations on a voluntary basis, we certainly have recourse. if it were a question of not knowing what this was or this was not their doing, we are happy to help resolve the situation. to me it is pretty simple, you return a call and resolve your obligations. if not lets have a rational conversation. I will not respond to this matter further.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Although I feel that this person responding to the emails is quit rude, I accept this. Again, as I stated before, I do not return calls when I do not know what it is about. Once I receive a LETTER in the mail, I will do what is needed. There are too many scams going on in this time and age to do other wise. Email and rude phone calls are not the way to go. You guys should think about that in the future with other clients. Thank you,

Response:

To the Revdex.com Since there is no identification as to the number being called, I am under the impression that this number was obtained from one of our licensed vendors and I am also under the impression that the phone is in the consumer’s name. Without a number it would be difficult to decipher. As for the 30 + messages, this couldn’t be further from the truth but based on the nature of this complaint, (child porn) this consumer obviously has issues. A letter was sent to the address we have on file and yes we call folks at work unless we are told not to do so. No one was harassed and as a matter of fact, the rude behavior was on the employer end. There is absolutely nothing to apologize for we are merely attempting to collect for a client whereas the debtor had an account open for just over 48 months and then decided to default the contract. Further, our new policy is to treat all slanderous complaints as exactly that and we will pursue legal action for any and all slanderous claims. In closing, all of our calls are logged and recorded so as far as the burden of proof we have everything. This is a complete and total fabrication of the facts.

Review: These people have my phone number but they still call my job every day harrasing my co worker who has the same first name as mines. They have no respect for others. It's a hospital and they are harrasing the wrong person. They are rude and act like a bunch of thugs they dont let you speak. They tried to lecture and insult. Worst tactics they got. I told them when they get people fired from their job how are they going to collect a dept. I spoke with them but they still calling my job. Will talk to an attorney.Desired Settlement: Give back goods

Response:

I have reviewed all calls logs and material associated with this account. During the short time this account has been of our company only May 3rd was where somebody was where [redacted] was reached. Every other attempt was met with heavy phone screening and voicemail answers. Messages were left unretrurned. on April 19th A coworker spoke with one of our representatives, she was also named [redacted]. The representative noted she was not [redacted] and did not press further beyond asking for [redacted]. The phone numbers were removed as requested and calls to those numbers ceased when requested by [redacted].

Review: This company called me at work stating I have a debt from [redacted] under my old name (I am divorced and have not gone by this name in 8 years). This debt was a fraudulent debt from over 8 years by an ex that has already been disputed with my credit agencies and removed from my credit reports. The woman and man were extremely condescending and rude. The man I spoke with asked me if I had ever lived at the address associated with the account and I informed him that I had not. He then began to keep repeating "Come on and just pay this" multiple times. Then began asking about charges made on the account and I had to tell him more than once that I don't know what the charges were because again this was a FRAUDULENT account that has already been resolved with all credit agencies. After I told the man numerous times that I would not be paying this old debt that I am not even responsible for, he hung up on me.Desired Settlement: I wish to receive no further contact from this company seeing as not only is this a fraudulent account opened in my name but this debt is way over the statute of limitations. I have all the proof of the debt being removed from my credit reports so I do not want this company to try and claim this as a "new debt" which I know collection companies do. I will not be answering any further communication from this company and if they continue to contact me, I will look into legal action against them.

Response:

We received a cease and desist from the consumer. we were advised that the account was opened by her ex. we closed the account on the spot.

Review: On 5-24-2016 I received a from nationwide debt management solutions. From the start of the phone the debt collector was hostile. I asked them to send me information that pertained to this debt. They said no because they had already send one out. She precedent to be rude and not helpful. She than said you have until the end of the month we will have to begin looking at legal avenues. So I said your threatening to see me all I'm asking for paperwork so I may get this issue resolved. She said no again and asked for my email. I said I don't give out my email. She aid sir your just stalling and I'm putting down your refusing to pay. I never said I was refusing I'm just asking for information sent to me through the mail she said no again and said I'm putting down your refusing to pay.Desired Settlement: I would like info about the debt so I can resolve the issue. But I want them accountable for threatening to sue and being completely rude and understanding.

Response:

I have reviewed the call in question that took place on 05/24/2016 11:53 am pacific. The representative asked for an email address to expedite delivery of the requested letter, the entirety of the conversation was a lot of round and round. With previous conversations met with yelling and hangups. SIC: 05/16/2016 11:07:47 SKC [redacted] : [redacted] ID ** SAID NO THANK YOU THEN STARTED YELLING AND HUNG UP, SIC: 05/20/2016 16:01:12 SK1 [redacted] ID- [redacted] SD DONT TALK TO ME AND TOLD ME NOT TO CALL HER, SAID HE DIDNT SPK WITH ANYONE IN OUR OFFICE, BEGAN YELLING - TERMINATED CALL. The letter was sent as requested on 05/24/2016. As the representative said on 05/24/2016 in her conversation with [redacted], The letter was already sent on 05/10/2016 and again on 05/24/2016. No threat or hint of lawsuit was made.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because. My wife told them to contact myself. I did no yelling, I do not give my personal email my reasons are my own. I wanted the to mail me info on the supposed debt, they said I had until the end of the month to settle the debt or they will look into legal action. On 5/27 I did recieve on the debit but I don't remember the debt.

First someone called my parents, then when I called back a person said that I was bouncing checks all over the place which is incorrect. He then told me that he sent an email which I didn't get. I told him that. Then he said he would contact my job and my spouse. I specifically asked him not to which I think is illegal. He then hung up on me.

The second time I called back and asked for a bill it was sent however the person proceeded to talk over me, was aggressive, and down right rude! I will not be spoken to in such a manner so I told him "at the sound of the tone you will be alone"

Review: This debt collection company continues to call and harass myself and my fellow co-workers repeatedly during the day after asking numerous time to stop calling. They will not stop calling and it is illegal for them to continue and they are risking my job and interrupting and harassing my fellow employees. I will pursue legal action against them for harassment if this continues.Desired Settlement: do not allow them to be in business. There are numerous online complaints against this agency for illegal communication that consumers are protected by.

Business

Response:

I have reviewed the account in great detail. We have factually never spoken to this consumer however we have left numerous messages over the last few months.. we have left both voice mail and live messages with the consumers executive assistant. at no time were we ever told not to call the the consumer at work nor were we advised by anyone at the place of employment not to call or the fact that the consumer cannot have personal calls at work. In no way shape of form was the consumer harassed in any way. Further We understand that there are numerous online complaints and we address them on an individual basis usually to find out the same facts as in this case. We call and attempt to resolve the accounts for both the client and the consumer. as in this case, we have had absolutely ZERO contact with this consumer even after several messages being made. Further there is a page on our website to submit a complaint and or grievance that obviously this consumer has attempted to circumvent and complain to the Revdex.com. Our collective opinion is that maybe the consumer should return the phone call after the 1st message (whether or not she wants to resolve her obligation or not) and if this very simple step was followed, we would not have a reason to call her again. All calls are available for request from the Revdex.com at any time.

I'll just say the people are insensitive, disrespectful and rude. My debt was only $150-$200 around that ball park. These people called 2 of my relatives and my job looking for me for this debt. My manager was a little upset by this, because the person( Sophia) was rude. I had to call them. I called and spoke to someone name Cesica. I think that's how you spell it. She was suppose to be a manager and I repeated myself twice to her to tell her I will give them a call when I can arrange somethings and don't call my work. I was even being real human and told her about my medical problems I just found out that I have Thyroid cancer and I was going to contact them after I got myself together from the horrible news I found out. She goes on to say sorry, but the world doesn't stop because of an illness and will you be able to make this payment today. For 1, I told her I was going to call them when I looked over my books, calendar, etc to see when I can make a payment, told her about my news and she's worried about a little debt, while others have thousand dollar debts. I couldn't believe a manager was speaking to me like this. Then she goes on to say this is what happens when people go into debt. Now I know this conversation is recorded. So they should listen to the call, but I recorded the conversation myself and I just couldn't believe the disrespect from a company I received.

Review: I have received multiple calls from Nationwide Debt Management, and it has turned into harassment at my job, as they have now called around my organization and found out my boss's name and have called him twice! This is morally repugnant. First of all, I have received nothing in writing to even attempt to validate their claims that I owe anything. I lost my job when the economy turned, and I lost everything, including my house and car. I still get harassed by zombie debt collection outfits over things that I defaulted on in 2008/2009. The statute of limitations has long since expired, and I am still attempting to pick up all the pieces of my life, so I just block them and move forward. I believe this Nationwide outfit is either trying to collect something from nearly a decade ago, or they are just scammers who make up phony debts and bully people in hopes of extorting money. The only difference is that they somehow have gotten my work number, which is unacceptable. On 5/18/16, a person claiming to be [redacted] apparently spoke to several people in my organization and found out who my boss is. She was described as rude and obnoxious by two secretaries. She spoke to my boss's secretary and told her to give him a message, but she mentioned she was trying to get ahold of me. The secretary said I was in the same office, so she could give me a message. This [redacted] person said you are his assistant, you give HIM the message to give to her. That is unacceptable. She called again on 5/25 for my boss again. I have received four calls from that number on my work phone today, which I define as harassment. I am not going to speak to them on the phone, period, especially since I do not believe there is a current, valid debt involved. I have already filed reports with the FTC, and from the complaints I have seen online, this group is known for trying to collect on payday loans that never existed. (At no point in my life have I ever had a delinquent payday loan!)Desired Settlement: My work number is to be purged from all records they possess, including any they will be selling to any other such outfit. They are NEVER to contact ANYONE in my company again! They may only send mail, and they are not to attempt to call me or anyone affiliated with me on the telephone. If they do not have any evidence of a current, valid debt, they should stop harassing me altogether. These outfits should be fined and jailed for calling a person's boss. I will report any future violations.

Business

Response:

The work phone has been removed from our records and they have been updated to not call in the future. As to the allegation of frequency called, there is not evidence in either our phone records or software which our representatives use that substantiates the claim of multiple calls to the employer per day much less four on any given day. I do see that after several unsuccessful attempts to reach [redacted] at residence and employer, the representative then attempted to reach [redacted]'s boss for a verification of employment. Not at all uncommon given the inability to reach her at any number no matter when contact was attempted. At no point in time did [redacted] return any calls or answer unless pick up hang ups are to be counted. As the identity of the person doing this cannot be determined attempts to very employment and locate viable contact numbers were attempted also without success. If contacted by [redacted] and so requested we will gladly furnish verification of the debt owed including to whom and how much the balance was when opened and the current disposition of the balance. Thank you.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: First of all, the statement that the phone records indicate there were not multiple calls placed is either an error or a bold-faced lie. I have my opinion as to which it is. If I need to request a phone log from my company to prove it, I will do so. Second of all, calling someone at work and trying to reach their boss on a matter unrelated to work is reprehensible. This is nothing more than an attempt to shame or embarrass someone, and I'm sure some people will fork over money that is not owed just to make the harassment stop. I sifted through hundreds of complaints about this outfit's tactics on this site and several others, and there are multiple claims that a person has gotten in trouble and even suspended from work as a result of these calls. As far as verifying my employment goes, that is none of your business! I have also seen many complaints of multiple calls with the 'our records indicate' response claiming that quantity of calls was not made, so I know that personally to be an untrue statement. Finally, I do not know anything about this outfit, I have not done business with it, so I have no contract or obligation. I do not talk to debt collectors, and I am basically convinced they are all lying, scamming fraudsters who employ unethical and often illegal harassment techniques. If you want to send me mail at my home, have at it. I will not be calling you.

Business

Response:

What is reprehensible about this entire erroneous complaint is the fact that this debtor is so high and mighty with her colorful delusions of grandeur, it is quite sickening. In addition to piggy-backing on the folks that file complaints when the default without a single payment, and she is admitting to hiding behind the statute of limitations, note, just because someone has no right to bring legal action, does not mean the debtor does not owe the money which is why the credit bureau is 7 years and not 3-4 so creditors can get the true picture of which this person is attempting to hide behind. This is most certainly not the case here. In this case this was opened in mid 2014 and the last payment was early 2015 and factually a letter was sent in may 2016. In closing I think it is morally reprehensible for this debtor to not pay something that improved her quality of life. Maybe that will jog her memory as to what this is for. Lastly, she has never made an attempt to call and resolve the bill. she could have easily requested anything through our website and even handled the bill on the website.

Review: A person named [redacted] has been calling my cell phone, my work phone and now has begun calling my place of work and leaving messages with other people here including the accounting manager and my boss the C.O.O! They have called my landlord several times as well. I have sent in messages on their website asking them to only contact me via USPS. I am about to loose my job because of the harassing phone calls. My boss said one more and I will be terminated. Is there anything that can be done to stop the harassing phone calls?Desired Settlement: I would ask that the company send me a registered letter to verify that I received the document and I will reply. Harassing phone calls to my place of work and my landlord MUST stop.

Response:

To the Revdex.com Once again, we have a consumer that is fabricating the truth in a big way. This is a case of the consumer having a loan open for a mere 5 months prior to defaulting and we are attempting to collect. On 7/1 the debtor asked us not to call two specific numbers of which we never did further. There are ABSOLUTELY no harassing phone calls. On 7/20 we were instructed not to call him at work period of which we have not done further. Later that same afternoon, we called the only other number we had and the consumer said send something in writing(of which we have already done by law) and Hung up. I am attaching the collector notes for the Revdex.com review so they can see how little has actually been done on this file. The moral of this story is the Debtor is mis-representing the truth (I know can you believe that) and is attempting to avoid paying the bill and is slandering us along the way. Maybe the simple result is to Litigate the account to secure the balance. Response:

I am rejecting this response because: the business called way more times then they logged. I have not received ANYTHING from them in writing - show me the return receipt? Or signed registered letter? They have cost me my full time status at my job, I am now part time on written warning status due to the harassing phone calls. They say I am slandering them? Then why so many complaints against this company? Until they prove the validity of the debt - which I doubt, I have never heard of them, and they contact me only in writing, which is my legal right, they can contact my attorney next, and stop the harassment.

I received a phone c[redacted] from a Miss Sophie which went to voicemail. Soon after, I was contacted by a family member letting me know they had c[redacted]ed them as well about my debt. I contacted the company to simply ask them to remove [redacted] other phone numbers from my account as I do not wish for them to contact anyone else.
The man who answered on the other line identified himself as "John C[redacted]". I was stern in my request and after he assured me no one else would be c[redacted]ed on my behalf, he proceeded to ask me about my debt. I am currently paying my past debt as I am able and advised him of the matter. He began attempting to dig into my personal life and when I balked at telling him anything personal, he raised his voice and person[redacted]y attacked me. He stated that I owed HIM money for the last two years and denied listening to anything I had to say.
I asked to speak with a supervisor or someone else in the office 3 times which he denied. I eventu[redacted]y hung up as there was no reasoning with this person. I waiting about 10 minutes and c[redacted]ed back to try and speak with someone else. He answered the phone with a taunting "Have we calmed down yet?".
Whether or not I owe someone money does not make this behavior acceptable. I am contacting the company as well with more information, but this way of doing things is not right. If they harass me, I will report them.
