since 2008. As a courtesy we will waive the $87.00 in collections. We are unable to process any refund since there is no record of the member requesting to cancel. If the member can provide documentation we can certainly review it for a refund. Such as cancel confirmation/receipt or a certified mail receipt.

one-year anniversary of the enrollment date. Therefore the member was billed on 7/*/16 for the $49.95 Annual fee. The member did place a request to cancel the membership on 7/*/16. The membership was cancelled according to the terms, effective 8/*/16 with a $29.95 cancellation fee. The cancellation terms state "Your cancellation will be effective on the first day of the next billing cycle, and you will continue to have the services provided under this agreement until the end of the billing cycle in which notice is given." Therefore although the member requested to cancel on 7/*/16, the membership remained active until 8/*/16. Since the membership was active on 7/*/16, the Annual fee was billed and is valid. There is no refund warranted.

When I have called WSC numerous times about these charges, why has no one been able to explain them before?1)    We are OK on the $3.85 on 8/**/2015 charge.2)     I absolutely did not make this charge: On 11/**/2015 the member was charged a $12.95 usage fee for using the [redacted] club.3)    When I put the cancelation request in, I asked if there would be any more fees and he said only the normal monthly fees would come out for the membership $19.95 and locker $9.95 for the last 2 months. Are you really going to charge me a yearly fee when I am canceling? I was told there would be no charges – i.e. cancel fee, too... looking at the contract it is up to your discretion to charge this fee because I fall in the category that I am moving home to Montana where there are no clubs.

from the members physician.  The note must state the member is unable to use our services, for a specific period of time. The amount of time the note must state is governed by state law, as well as any cancel fees that may apply. [redacted] had the option to cancel his membership by providing a medical note from his physician, stating he was unable to use the club for six months or more (per New Jersey law), or to pay the $39.95 end of month cancelation fee.

Unfortunately we have no record that the member requested to cancel the membership. The member also cannot provide documentation that the cancellation should have been processed. As stated in the membership contract, the member agreed that all fees will be charged to the credit card on file with the club and the authorization to charge the member remains in effect until a cancellation request is provided. We cancel all memberships that have a balance of three months dues. The member became past due for December, January and February therefore the membership was cancelled. We base the billing of the membership on the fact that the member has access to the club. We cannot base the billing from use of the club. We understand the situation that the member has presented which we have no record of. As a courtesy we can waive one months dues and all late fees from the balance with a total balance of $79.90 instead of $164.85.

On 5/**/17 [redacted] enrolled into a Neighborhood membership. She paid $10.00 to join then was charged on 6/*/17 for the montly dues. [redacted] enrolled into a membership not a trial. All members have 10 days after enrollment to request to cancel and receie a full refund. [redacted] has not requested to cancel...

and her membership will remain active until doing so. If she would like to cancel, she would have to go in person to the club or send a letter by mail. There is a 45 day notice and $10.00 cancel fee

We have spoken to [redacted] and have come to a resolution. We have processed an immediate cancellation for her membership. We will provide a refund for the June billing of $26.71 pending the dispute that [redacted] made with her billing institution.

On June [redacted], the manager of the gym sent me an email saying that the paperwork I had sent him regarding way knee was sufficient. I have attached a letter from Dr. Anil R[redacted] my knee doctor from the Hospital for Special Surgery recommending that I avoid the gym due to my knee injury. Had Mr. T[redacted] told me then that I needed to send a letter from my doctor I would have sent it to him that day.The point I am trying to make with Revdex.com is that this organization harasses people and has unfair business practice which is obvious with all the complaints that can be viewed online.I hope this clears up my complaint.Sincerely, [redacted]

We apologize for any miscommunication. We do not provide the cost to change/enroll to a new membership in your membership agreement. Changing your membership is the same as enrolling into a new membership. If you are a current member and you wish to change your membership, we would not charge a cancellation fee but we would charge a enrollment fee and annual fee. The cost to change your membership is determined by the current rates and promotions.Your Premier membership was cancelled on 9/**/15 and a full refund was processed.

  I was never given the option to send a request by to cancel by mail. I run a weight loss program at [redacted] hospital and have worked with thousands of clients. Never have I heard of a gym that makes it so incredibly difficult to cancel. This was a corporate membership and I am taking up a complaint with [redacted]. I can promise that we will deter every client from ever joining this gym and I will be online and on tv letting people know of this horrific company. They have my calls documented and know why I did not make it in there in person. If you are unable to help me I will be sure that every person is aware of their policies. Best of luck to them.

We apologize for any inconvenience. We have no documentation that shows the member requested to downgrade the membership. The member has a signed agreement for the Passport membership and this is the only agreement on file. If a downgrade was completed, the member would have paid a fee to downgrade,...

there would be a new signed agreement, there would be notations in the account and we have no information. The member called Member Services on 9/**/15 regarding his online account information so he could update his billing and never mentioned the change in membership. On 9/**/15 the member updated the billing information and paid the monthly dues of $74.99. The member contacted Member Services on 1/**/16 stating that in August 2015 there was a request to downgrade the membership. We advised the member that we had no record of this request. The member requested to cancel and we advised we would waive the 30 day notice and cancel effective 1/**/16 with no further billing, which we have. The member proceeding to contact the club the same day and spoke to the Fitness Manager William P[redacted] who advised the same information. Since there is no documentation of the member's request and there was no membership change attempted or completed, there is no refund warranted.
