We had our bathroom shower remodel done on December 6th of this year. The initial meeting to discuss the plans, the cost and such was great and we decided to proceed with the company, although the price was double what other companies had quoted us, solely because we loved the family nature of the business and the positive reviews online.
The installation went well with only a minimal hiccup when the plumber accidentally cut the tub faucet pipe too short, so he planned to come back at 8am the next morning since he lived so close by to us. When he didn’t show up by 10am, we called NewPro to inquire as to where he was as we canceled plans that morning to wait for him. We never received a call back and the plumber showed up unannounced at 4pm that afternoon.
It was a few days later, when we first used the shower, that we noticed some minor problems. All the fixtures were laying slightly crooked/askew and the showerheads leaked cold water when the tub faucet was turned on. We also noticed that water seemed to be leaking behind one of the plates that was inside the tub and noticed that it wasn’t laying flat against the tub face at all. We emailed the service department using the information that our installer had left with us and didn’t hear back. We then reached out to the gentleman who came to our house to plan the installation, Christian. We waited a few days with no response from him either. Then, I sent an email through the “contact us” section on the website and STILL did not hear back for another week. My husband emailed Christian again and finally we heard back from him that he was going to have someone reach out to us. Ashley called a day later and left a voicemail for us. I called the very next day and left a message on her voicemail and STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK and it’s been about 10 days since then.
To say my husband and I are frustrated is an understatement. We have done our due diligence and reached out with our concerns and we now feel like we were taken advantage of. They lured us in with the promise of treating their customers like family and then dropped us the minute they got their money. We aren’t asking much either…just come out to fix the fixtures so they don’t lay crooked and help ensure that water is not leaking below our tub, so we don’t get water damage.

I have written a review which explains all aspects of my tub installation
The company took 15000 plus dollars from me upfront - promised me a 1 day installation of my tub and new windows- they had to come back 2 times and finally put in the windows 3 months after the promise month.
My tub was installed with a jacuzzi valve which produced hammer water and the pipes were not secured to the wall - so it left me with banging so loud the and violent the whole house shook- then later after coming back a month after installation to adjust the Jacuzzi valve it the banging and hammer water returned after a little over a week. After letting the company know again that this was still happening they agreed to put in a new *** valve they told me it was ok to use the tub- however two weeks before Thanksgiving my daughter filled the tub for a bath and it leaked into the ceiling and came through my kitchen ceiling into my electrical and all over my counter top. The first plumber not only sweat the valve incorrectly - he never connected the overflow in the tub to the tub drain!!
They sent the 2nd plumber back after I complained to many supervisors, and executives including the Vice president.- He was sent fix this the week before Thanksgiving-- after-- I had prepared my kitchen and dining room - curtains, walls, woodwork,- polished furniture - for the holiday - I had 12 guests coming. The plumber came and I was working a 12 hour day that day -so my 80 year old father was just there to let them and lock up after they left.
The plumber asked if he could open up the kitchen ceiling and I agreed as I needed the working bathroom for my company. AND I JUST NEEDED WHAT I PAID FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE!

This bathroom was not going to be finished all the way for the holiday - it should have been in-- in 1 day as promised in June - they took the whole payment and I gave a large deposit and financed through their company -- they were paid immediately - my bathroom was supposed to be completed by August meaning -I would be able to finish the rest of it after the bath was installed and here it was Thanksgiving and It was a complete disaster with a third day of construction

The plumber or his carpenter helper never put up a plastic barrier to keep the debree-dirt, or drywall dust contained- he just tore open the ceiling over my sink in the kitchen - let all my blown in insulation go all over my kitchen counters the walls the top of my fridge - he never removed my appliances that were on the countertops my canisters - garlic, candles, coffee maker ,cereal boxes, breads, - phone - nothing - I had spent the week prior every night and the whole weekend cleaning polishing washing and ironing curtains- getting baking dishes out and I came home after a 12 hour day working outside in the cold and the rain to a huge mess debree everywhere- my dining room covered with plaster dust, furniture, table , dining room chairs with cloth seats, countertops a complete mess: dust on my coffee maker - garlic all cereals had to be thrown out breads- my little dog stepping in insulation and dust and it was a nightmare - I just sat and cried-- just so unprofessional and ridiculous -- 14000 dollars for a tub and 3 little acrylic walls to be installed and this is what was done!

I had to hire 2 guys to patch and plaster the ceiling one week before Thanksgiving and I had to start from scratch cleaning everywhere - it was all over my hallway up my stairs - in my living roomiest all over my velvet couch my desk -
My tub is still not installed properly after all that - the pipes are not secured in the wall - the shower head is moving in and out of the wall and the pipe coming out also moves left and right
Also the tub spice is off of the wall about 1/4 inch as well as my corner shelf was never reinstalled.
After calls to the supervisor, executives - the check they promised me to pay the men I hired was never cut and issued after they agreed to send it out immediately - I had to pay the people I hired right away. - Also the executive told me he was going to call me and we could work a parent out for me for the work I still have to get done myself sanding the ceiling and repainting - as well as compensation for the cleaning and the loss of my perishables .
He never has called. Nobody has followed up with me t all. The Plumber they told me was coming and I spoke with him myself as well - the wednesday before the ho;lid to fiix the pipes - secure them and the spout fort the tub -- I told him I was working until 12:00 but I should be home before 1:00 depending on the traffic out of *** - I told him to text me at 1:15 I should definitely be home by then or just come right over at 2 -- He promised me he would be there-- I never heard anything from him, never showed, never called.
Nobody has called me or sent the money they promised to me for my workmen or to find out if any of the work has was finished!! I haver waited a month and none bothered
I want them to give me compensation for this ridiculous fiasco - And if they cannot install this tub - which I have no trust or faith that they can at this point - come and take the whole thing out and give me back my money for the tub - keep there 1800.00 for the window installation.

This company has called me dozens of times in the last two months, even though I asked to be taken off their call list in 2017. They called 12/19/2019 and I told them not to call ever again. They then called me 12/20/2019. I told them I would NEVER do business with them again, and that I would file a complaint with the Revdex.com and the Attorney Generals Office. Since this involves illegal conduct I can't file a complaint with the Revdex.com, but I want to assure Newpro that I will be contacting the AGs office.

Marci K VP Marketing reached out to learn more details about interactions and people involved in order to correct/resolve the issue. The database was recently converted and this customer had 2 records with multiple phone numbers associated with the records. The request to remove from a calling list was communicated to a manager who removed the record from our calling list, however the additional record that was in the system with a wrong zip code assigned to the record remained active. Both records have been noted as do not call and this was communicated to the customer who was grateful for the call and attempt to resolve. The customer has the direct line to reach Marci for any future needs or concerns.

I had Newpro in to give me a quote for a bathroom. I didn't like their product or appreciate their high pressure sales pitch and they ultimately left without my signature. I have since received no less than 15 calls, 3 emails and multiple texts. I have blocked multiple phone numbers to avoid harassment but new numbers keep calling me

NEWPRO appreciates the opportunity to present our product and apologies for the call attempts. We have removed the ability to contact you from our system and apologize for the inconvenience. If you have any further call attempts please call me direct at *** or email me at ***. That is not our standard practice and I will review with our call center how this could have happened. Thank you again for the opportunity.

Gama & Dan did a wonderful job by installing the bathroom window, I’m very happy so far.
Great work guys.

To start off, I did not purchase anything from this company. I had a free consultation. This went mostly fine. The guy was nice, and explained what the product is, how it works, why it is better than alternatives, etc. He then gave price, which was ~11k for just a shower/bath combo. Other companies have given me ~7.5k for tile shower/bath combo, as well as tile floors, re-doing the walls, and removing popcorn ceilings. He said he could reduce it to ~10k if I purchased the same day (same day discount, which he said was so they didn't have to come back to sign the paperwork). I said I had another company coming in the next day for a consultation, so said no. It took ~20 minutes of convincing, but he finally left. At this point I was thinking okay, if the other place falls through I might fall back on them. A couple days later, I get a text from someone when I was at work asking if I had some free time for a call. I did not respond as this was at work and was busy, but he tried calling anyways. This happened for three days straight. Eventually I replied to his text saying I will call him back if I decide to go with them. He immediately called, and I replied and he said he talked to his manager or something and they could get a reduced price if they sent someone to my place again (so much for same day discount). I said no, as I was fairly POed at that point and they were above what I wanted to pay, and the other place I talked to was more reasonably priced and much less pushy. After that I texted him something along the lines of 'pro-tip: you should give your best price the first time'. Immediately after this he tried calling again, and then again every day for a couple days (again while I was at work). After a couple days of this I texted something along the lines of 'You are dangerously close to a negative review. Please stop calling me.' Immediately after this he tried calling me again. Hence, this review.
Expect many spam calls if you say no. Marked as 2 stars instead of 1 as their product does seem nice, although very expensive.

NEWPRO takes great pride in customer service and communication --- especially after the opportunity to meet with a homeowner. After receipt of this review, two of the NEWPRO Vice Presidents made call attempts to learn more about the experience as this is not representative of the NEWPRO communication process. The VP of Marketing spoke with the homeowner and received more detail and the phone number that was related to the text in order to learn who was communicating and to address the issue with related internal staff. We assured the homeowner they would be removed from any future communication – along with leaving her direct line for any future concerns or needs. NEWPRO follows strict communication processes and learns from every interaction how this process can be improved. We value homeowners’ feedback. The opportunity to provide homeowners with information for an investment today or in the future is a privilege. This experience is not representative of the exceptional NEWPRO experience that has earned us 75 years serving New England homeowners. The homeowner was appreciative of the follow-up.

PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH NEWPRO , they have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
We recently bought a house in Providence RI and they came with Newpro Windows with original receipts. We called Newpro in September because they have a “ Lifetime warranty that is transferable once” . The windows /house had only the original owner and then us . We called the Wrentham service department and Selena told us that only the Frame is covered for the lifetime . Which is fine because we have a bunch of broken handles, felt and some window’ tracks system are off. She sets a date for a service technician to come out and take an assessment . I think his name was Bob or Chris . He comes on time and does what’s he suppose to do . Then we call to set another date for them to come in and actually fix things in November. The service tech comes and he has no idea that he was suppose to come and fix the windows . He thought he was there for an assessment! We tried to a hold of Selena but she is out sick so we get a hold of Ashley in the Woburn Service department. She clarifies things and apologized for the mix up . She sets a second date on December 3rd. We then get a phone call from Ashley stating that we have to pay for the service tech for hours worked . Because it’s not covered by the warranty. She tried to make things right by compensating for our time and frustration with a lower price. $175 . But we now just got a call ( the day befe our appointment) from the service manager Tom, that nothing is covered by the warranty and that it’s $175 per hour to fix the windows! This is ridiculous . It’s December and freezing out and we have drafty windows . We could have gone to someone else at this point to save time and frustration .

September 12th, 2019- signed contract with the NewPro sales rep for new installation of slider door. He said, it would be a half days’ worth of work, the area would be all cleaned up and it would be about 6-8 weeks before installation. Contract said estimated completion date of November 3rd.
Wed. November 6th- I called *** to follow up- and he was unsure why no one had contacted us yet to install the door. Later that day I received another call from *** stating that they weren’t sure what happened but the door was sitting there ready for install, and they could come out Wed 13th, in the afternoon.
Wed. November 13th- contractors show up to install door at 12:30 pm. They leave a few hours later, stating someone would be back to finish up the door. The frame was left open and the door didn’t lock. At 5:30, still no one had returned, we were forced to stuff plastic bags around the frame of the door to keep the cold air out. At 6 pm I contact ***, and he assures me it would be resolved. At 6:40 pm 2 more contractors show up and put in some blown in insulation around the door, but do not address the locking issue.
The work area was left a mess. We found 2 razor blades, a bag of screws and many shards of sharp plastic from the old door demo throughout the kitchen and one piece in the living room.
All of this was relayed to ***, who assured me it would all be taken care of and rectified as soon as possible.
Thurs. November 14th- *** assures me someone would be out as soon as possible to finish the door installation. I had another conversation that morning with *** (the head of installation) as well, about the razor blades, lock and plastic bags. At 4:30 pm the contractor finally shows up. He finishes the work around 7:15, but the door still doesn’t lock.
Fri. November 15th- 7:15 am I notify the company that the door still doesn’t lock and I would like it fixed right away. 8:15 I receive a response that the message was received and they would look right into it. By 4:00 pm, still no response. I reached out again to see if anyone was coming by to fix the lock. At 4:30, *** finally calls me back and says she can’t do anything about it until Tuesday. She assured me she would pass along the information to the head in installation, *** who would be working on Saturday and get right back to me. She said he was the only one who could make decisions to send service technicians out on the weekends.
Sat. November 16th- no call or response from ***. I sent another email to *** explaining that no one had called or shown up to fix the lock and included additional pictures of the damaged trim that needed to be replaced.
Mon. November 18th- 10 am- I called again re: the lock needing to be fixed and the trim, and left an message for ***. Texted *** to see if he had heard anything and have received no response.
Additionally, they have already charged us for the full price of the door, and the installation is not complete. It was told to us it would be 50% deposit and then 50% upon completion.

Newpro Home Improvements Solutions Response • Nov 20, 2019

VP of Operations spoke with the homeowner and is visiting the home on Thursday, 11/21 at 10am to address all the concerns. An installation team will be on site on Friday to install the interior casings. Customer is satisfied with our plan in response to the complaint.

I ordered a new bathroom from Newpro on 8/22/2019 for which I paid the required one-third deposit totaling $6580.00. I was told that Newpro would have the complete installation done in a 1-2 day time frame but I was first need to have the window replaced and toilet and vanity ordered. Once I had secured the funds to pay the balance I owed (October 30), had the toilet and vanity delivered (November 2), and the window put in (November 3), I called Newpro and they told me that the shower unit was in warehouse waiting to be picked up. I called the sales rep back on November 11. He told me that the shower unit they ordered would not fit and that they would have to order a new one. He gave me the option of having a cheaper unit put in and I refused because it was their error that they hadn’t measured properly. I insisted that I should not have to pay full price due to this lack of professionalism. I have called the sales rep every day since then to inquire about the status of my order and he has not returned any of my calls.

Newpro Home Improvements Solutions Response • Nov 20, 2019

Customer has been contacted. The shower pan had to be reordered after NEWPRO installation team arrrived to perform the install and discovered there were pipes inside the wall that would prevent us from installing the pan that was initially ordered. This was an unforeseen circumstance that was identified once the valve cover was removed and we had visibility behind the wall. This was something that could not be discovered during the initial design process. The customer was made aware on 11/6, the day of install about the reorder - he was advised the reorder would be rushed but would take a few weeks to arrive. The VP of operations updated the homeowner on 11/20 to advise him that the new shower pan will be arriving within the next couple of days. Once received we will contact him immediately and expedite the install. Tell us why here...

Eric C was amazing throughout our whole experience. Very polite and super helpful with all our questions. I would def recommend Newpro and I would def recommend having the work done by eric

Excellent job on time. Efficient and courteous . Dan and Gama did a wonderful job. Im very pleased with work and completed job.

We felt that the the offer made to us was not clearly represented and that we would not be receiving as complete a project as was offered. We were not comfortable continuing under those circumstances and also felt that we were not offered appropriate or adequate service for any questions we had about what the project would entail. Furthermore we were rushed to make any decision or changes over the phone, despite the fact that I said I was not feeling well, because the employ wanted to save himself the trouble of making a second visit to clarify maters. Subsequently despite multiple requests of company executives I was told that they would see me in court..
