Very unhappy, I feel like this is a scam. I asked the "coach" 3 times to cancel my account, and that was completely ignored until the day before my free trial ended where I was send instructions on how to cancel the subscription and was charged for a full month. I want a refund for the full amount.
So sorry that you did not have the best experience with Noom! We would love to know what went wrong here. Do you mind reaching out to us with your Noom account email at *** regarding this? Thanks!
I started a trial of Noom for which I paid and specifically chose not to enroll in auto billing etc. I was unable to log into my account and it wanted me to login through social media that I do not use. I sent a message to the company through their website explaining that I was unable to login, am not linking my social media nor my bank account to their business, and cancelling the trial. Today I noticed my bank charged me $107+ for a renewal I did not authorize. I do not have an account, never used the service, and am uninterested. I tried to contact Noom, but they make it so you have to contact through their site and any billing questions are not sent to the company. I contacted the company by choosing “other” as the complaint. I am contacting my bank and in forming them this is fraud and I want a full refund immediately.

Subscribed and paid for 16 week program back in June. Was charged and set for their auto renewal. Canceled subscription to prevent auto renewal in December. Was told I would have access to all program components until that time since I was already billed and paid for them however, when I login, I have no access.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
[Your Answer Here]
Noom Support partially refunded my money but I still do not have full access to app as I was told I would have through December of 2019 (my next subscription auto renewal date).
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
Sincerely
Hi ***
Sorry for the confusion. Your subscription started 6//19 and was for 6-months. You used the subscription up until it was canceled on 10/*/19 when you spoke to the support team. Your coach messaged you that you would have access until December on 10/*/19 before you spoke to the support team. The coach set your cancellation up and your account was going to expire in December, that's why she said you would still have access. You wouldn't have gotten a refund because you were going to use the full subscription. When you spoke to support you asked for a cancellation and that is why it was canceled that day and you were refunded the partial charge of $74.50. That was the refund for the unused portion 10/2019-12/2019.
If you want to resubscribe and finish the program you would need to sign back up.
Sorry again for the confusion here. When you get a chance, please mark your Revdex.com complaint as 'Resolved'. If there is anything else you need, please don't hesitate to let our Support Team know so we can help!

I feel scammed! They charged my card $129, then when I cancelled my subscription they offered it for $19 a month! No refund is their refund policy!
We’re so sorry for the confusion! Do you mind reaching out to us with your Noom account email at *** so we can look into this? You should have received a confirmation email with your subscription details. Looking forward to hearing from you! Thanks!
Just like others.....I really feel like predatory practices. I cancelled after the 14 day trial.....cause I didn’t know when the trial ended. To cancel was difficult, had to send messages to coach ,check boxes, open different pages, no phone number. Was charged 162 dollars for services that I haven’t even got yet!

I cancelled my subscription before the trial period ended and I was still charged. I’ve tried to contact someone on the app and I’ve had no response. There is no number to call to actually talk to anyone (how convenient). I’m super frustrated and we really needed the money that was taken. It’s poor business practice for it to be so easy to sign up, but you can’t get a hold of a real person to solve a problem or cancel if the program isn’t for you.

I contacted NOOM for information about their system. On the web site I was asked to donate anything from $5 to $18 to cover the cost of the information package. I charged $10 to my DISCOVER card and received nothing more than a blank chart with no instructions and a promise to be contacted by a coach. No where on the web site was I informed that requesting information was in essence signing up for a trial membership. I did not discover this until I received a computer generated receipt stating that I had 14 days to review and cancel a membership that I did not request. I immediately canceled via the web site - not possible to speak to a human being - yet my credit card was charged $140.00. It was not until I discovered this charge and immediately denied NOOM the opportunity to automatically charge for an extension of a membership I did not want and had cancelled. It was only after denying any additional charges from NOOM that I actually received a workable chart and contact from a coach. This business model is designed to lure you into membership by allowing you to request info on how the system works and then automatically signing you up for membership.

I have subscribed to the noom 14 days free trials.
I was not informed of any auto renewal, also did not sign to subscribe to anything but the free trial however once the trial period is done noom charged me for $99 for another two months subscription.
I haven't been using the app for days. The app it self does not have any place to turn of auto renewal or to unsubscribe.
Once I googled it I finally understand I have to text the bot to unsubscribe and she will then turn of the auto renewal.
By state law of New York I should be informed at least 15 days before the auto renewal. I do not use the product and do not agree to subscribe for another two months. The way this application is set up is unethical.

I am so dissappointed...just found out that 159$ has been deducted from my account without my approval...please refund
You should at least ask for authorization.its so wrong . Maybe you should just deduct a months subscription.159$ without approval is a whole lot of money. Please just refund.

Beware! The terms and conditions you agree to are NOT JUST for AN APP. It includes an auto-renewal that is non-refundable. I lost $141 when I signed up for what I thought was a $10 2-week trial.

Noom advertised a 4 month program, which was perfect for me to lose weight before my wedding. The Noom system is fine and I did lose some weight but after 4 months, with no warning, they charged me again for an additional 4 months. It's incredibly predatory. Wasn't worth the money for the 4 months I intended to pay for. Certainly wasn't worth the 4 non consensual months of charges.

This company offered a free trial and after my free trial ended they automatically charged me 99 dollars for the next two months without sending me any alerts or notifications that would make me aware and give me choice to proceed with the program. In their fine print they state any charges made after the trial period are nonrefundable. This feels immoral and like I have been stolen from.

I paid for Noom in January 2019. I used it and it was somewhat helpful. I got several emails at the beginning. I just noticed on my bank account that I was charged $129 again. Then I did a search on my bank account and see this is the third time I’ve been billed $129 NUM sent me several emails back in January but they do not send a reminder that you will be billed again or a notice that you have been billed again so that I could have prevented at least the THIRD charge!! They don’t seem to give any refunds.
Sorry for Spelling . It's NOOM, the online weight management app. They don't send any emails to let you know they have charged you Again so you may not realize you are on recurring payments! Their website says they don't give refunds. They assign you a health coach who texts back and forth with you in the app . She was very nice and actually responds to you're unique issues. But she has not reached out for months either to say "hello... are you still wanting to use this app?" I think their recurring billing is puposefully sneaky!
I signed up for the 10 day trial for $10. It clearly stated it would only change my card for the$10. This morning I was charged $157 on my card. I have sent messages to my “coach” on the app and have not received a reply. I’m very frustrated. There isn’t a customer service number listed anywhere on the app.

This company is a rip off. They claim a Free 14 day trial. It is NOT free. They will charge you a $10 fee immediately. I canceled within five minutes of joining because I thought I was going to be able to control when they took money out of my account but they said they were automatically going to charge me at the end of my 14 day pre-trial. When I looked at my account they had already taken out $10. I had canceled five minutes after getting that email and they will not refund me the money. I do not recall reading at all where it says there will be a $10 fee on the 14 day free trial

Like everyone else, signed up for trial. Spent $10 for 10 days, then charged $105 without any notice. I forgot I even had app. And it looks like they an email when I finally found out how to cancel (you have to type "cancel" in coach text box) they can send an email notification, but not before they charge me $105. That is a completely shady business practice and nowhere on the app or website is it transparent on how they will try to rip off people who are just trying to get healthy. But they make clear about refund policy after you cancel. The CEO must have been raised by carnies to resort to such underhanded tactics. I will just go to my bank and refuse payment, Not even dealing with these criminals.

Like many others on here, I was charged $157.94 on the final day of the 14-day trial without transparency that my card would be charged. They charged me through April 2020 which is absurd. I, like most of you, only agreed to the 14-day trial.

YES I was scammed with NOOM
I signed up for the trail period and then boom they charged me 99 dollars for future months...they site is bogus!!!!!
Please Revdex.com do something about there practices!!!!!

I have been trying to get in touch with this company repeatedly to cancel. The service is simply not worth the money. I could do all of the things that they claimed to be able to help me do to lose weight without this extra cost. I cannot get in touch with anyone, or a real-life person at all. I do not want to have to change my bank information just so that this poor excuse for a company can continue to take my money. This is definitely a company where buyers should beware.
