This company has taken a full year of charges from me and did not notify me via email that the renewal was scheduled to take place. This is terrible business and completely unethical.

I agree that customer service is non -existent. On the day I joined I had problems with the phone app and needed to talk to someone to correct the matter.. When I realized that there was no way to communicate my problem to NOON, I decided to opt out of the program because I believed this was the beginning of issues with the organization. Unfortunately, one can only do so using the app. Sadly, I really wanted to learn about the NOON approach to weight loss. CUSTOMER SERVICE CAN MAKE OR BREAK A BUSINESS! If I cannot cancel using my computer, I will dispute any NOON charges to my credit card.

I signed up for the free 2 week trial. I was not overly impressed with the information those first 2 weeks but figured I would give it another$79 for 2 months and see how it goes. I Lost the 10lbs I made as my goal within the next month. I have always thought those last 10lbs would never come off. Like 10 years trying to get them off. The psychology behind why we eatthe way we do really kicked in around week 3. People saying they never signed up for the app but were charged are obviously lying...how did they get your credit card number? I know we are all busy that is why the app worked so well. Small articles and quizzes reinforce the information they reinforce over and over again. If you try a free trial planning to cancel be prepared to cancel it early,don't wait for the last minute or after the deadline to cancel and then cry to the Revdex.com that it is a scam. If you read these complaints you see everyone is getting a refund. It says more about you as a person not paying attention to what you have agreed to do and them not liking the consequences of your lack of presence. Your short emotional fuse leads you to Revdex.com and you reaffirm your feelings of being treated ill even though you are the one whip delayed ending a relationship you saw boo value in. You see other People have gotten their money back this way so you follow their lead. The program works. I stayed on it for 4 months and lost 20lbs. I left the program last month and still feeling great, not just about the weight loss but also about myself as well. Therapy and weight loss. Such a great app!

Noom isn't a scam. These negative reviews scared me so much I almost canceled my trial. Glad I didn't, because I've lost 15 lbs & have developed much healthier eating habits because of the app. I would say it's a work in progress. The goal specialists that their ads make much of aren't very personalized (many users say they're botlike) & the groups can be good or not depending on how much people participate. There is a great unofficial Noom *** group that makes up for that, though. The psychology works for many people, including me.

I signed up for a trial period and was told I would be billed monthly. They billed me for 6 months, I was not told that I would be billed for 6 months. They refuse to refund my money.

Scam no way anyone would pay 140.00 without being tricked. In addition there is no customer support to help if you are unhappy. Stay away!

Scam... REFUSE to refund your money after they charge you after a “free” trial WITHOUT any notification, email, nothing.
The “coaches” have very automated responses and don’t make a genuine connection at all. They literally take your answers to responses and craft it into a new sentence.
For example:
Q: what’s your goal?
A: to lose weight
Coaches response: Excellent! Your goal to lose weight is a great place to start.
They offer a two-week free trial, which I didn’t stick with as I was overall disappointed. Supposed to log your steps, says I walked 0 every day when I was walking an average of 12,000. Tried to pair with my *** Watch so it could read from there, failed. Disappointed with “fitness coach.”
So I deleted the app, and the next week I see I’m charged for the full subscription. I received NO emails asking my which (if any) subscription I’d like to choose from. And Once you’ve been charged at the end of your trial they will not give your money back.
That’s poor customer service and makes me as a consumer really dislike this company. If they’re so successful or care about the health and well being of their customers, they wouldn’t refuse to give their money back for a service they won’t even use. I didn’t like my trial. I do not want to continue, and here I am getting charged for it anyways.

I Started a free trial for the app noom. I checked it out, saw that this is just a calorietracker with motivational quotes.
So time went by I forgot that I had the app. Opened my PayPal and see a charge of 109€ and was so confused of such a high amount.
Immediately opend the app and contacted my "Assistant" and then realised she was an AI that was sold as a real Coach to help.
Subscription is Canceled which is onley possible through the app and now trying everything to get my money back.
These business practices are unethical and people should be aware of this company

I applied for the trail, but was not impressed with the application. I thought I had canceled, but today I noticed that I was charged $150 for Noom. There’s no way to contact Noom other than their support system through their website. I want my money back. Very unhappy and displeased with this service.

I used the app, didn’t lose weight and was accused by my coach of stealing food off of other’s plates and then was told to go to a medical doctor because I didn’t lose weight in the 6 week period.

I want to cancel since it’s a scam trial and they’re telling me my email is invalid, which means I can’t sign in on their app to request the cancel. I don’t want to pay $60/month; I wanted a free trial!

I purchased the 14 day free trial for 3 dollars with Noom. I went through the entire process of setting it up and everything. I wasn’t able to use it much because I was busier than normal and in between moving. Noom charged me for the full price on the last day of my “free trial” which I actually paid 3 dollars for. If I have 14 days to cancel then I should have 14 days to cancel. Not 13. There Is NO ONE to get a hold of. No contact number for customer service no love chat on their app. NOTHING!

Although it was a lot to read every day, it did help me change my mindset. Where I ran into trouble was when my Doctor wanted to review my food logs and there was no way for her to easily do that. So, I ended up logging my food with a different app and found that Noom was no longer valuable. I basically did it for 4 months. Didn't lose any weight.

Similar to the warning, I was also charged $18 and change for the “trial” of which I signed up and cancelled within an hour after reviewing the program and deciding it was not for me. I contacted Noom and they said I agreed it it, however I don’t recall any place where I saw it would charge me for the trial. They refused to refund so I contacted my credit card company who credited my account and would debit the amount from Noom. They had zero questions as the credit card company has received several complaints. This company is fraudulent and unethical in their business practices.

Mt coach 'Stephanie' wasn't responsive when I went off the rails. I asked to cancel the subscription and she never responded. I asked 3 days in a row, 5 times. I finally figured out how to do it through my iphone subscritpion settings.

This is true! Do not use this app. There is no real person to get in-touch with and it's not a self guided (not coached app). Save your $159.00. They will not refund you and make it impossible to cancel your subscription.

I subscribed to a 14 day free trial, was unable to download the app. I replied to an email from them about my issue. There was no way to contact the service other than through the app. I had to wait to file a complaint with my bank to report the fraudulent charge. There is no email, customer support phone number or any way to get into contact with this company except throu the app, which I could not download. They charged my card 157$ with no way for me to cancel the free trial. They were aware I had not downloaded the app as they sent me a email notice that I had not logged into it yet. They fraudulently charged me 157$. I still have no way to cancel this and it will go back to my paypal account again.

This is a great program for someone who is self directed (and self-motivated to a good degree). I've been on the program for 5 months and I've lost 30 lbs. There is a lot of flexibility with the program. You're able to roll back your lessons if life happens and you're not able to stay on track with the daily tasks. I enjoy all of the aspects of the program and I found it was perfect for me. I didn't feel pressure to participate in anything that didn't really bring me joy. I learned the importance of that during the program. All in all, I'm happy I clicked on the ad and I'm looking forward to the next few months where I'm sure I'll nail my goal of the next 15 lbs.

I also got charged erroneously for a year but I reached out to my goal specialist who gave me a link to their customer support. Once I got in touch with support, they fixed my problem very quickly. I see all the bad reviews here but I think you just need to get to the right person. As far as the program itself, I think it’s the best one out of all that’s out there. It provides solid, evidence based information (they do say when information isn’t evidence based) along with sound psychological tips (and tricks) that come in handy day after day. Thanks Noom!

They charged me $99 and I was not expecting that and I want to be refunded.
