The daily information is helpful. The constant “nerd” references get old. Weekly check in with the coach does not really allow for dialogue flow. Don’t really enjoy the group communication. I am continuing with the program because I have already paid for it.

It was great at first. Weekly conversations with my coach and group discussion weekly. Then after 30 days, nothing for 3 weeks. Like I disappeared. The education is sound. Can be found in most nutritional literature. The calorie restriction is the key to sucess, no matter how you wrap your head around it. If you have the support it helps to stay focused. With Moon you should... But I didn't. It may have been that I tried to get a refund (and failed) that contact was lost. But since I complained about the lack of support my coach started checking back in with me.

There is a lot of content to read everyday. Particularly when I already have a busy schedule.

I have lost a scant 10 lbs. faithfully following the Noom program, which, essentially, is calorie counting, for 5 months.. Agonizing! My goal was to lose 40 lbs. I will not re-up when my 6 months ends. The program features food logging, lots of articles on psychological aspects of eating, a social component that is group posting prompted by a facilitator, and a personal coach that checks in weekly. The coach essentially asked me what I'd like to work on (say increasing minutes of exercise) and checks back to see how things went. I found no insight, there. The coaching technique is to practice active listening, meaning she essentially reflected back to me whatever I was saying. NOT motivating or helpful. She was a good cheerleader if I reported any progress. Frankly, the awareness I gained by logging food and being more aware of calories was the best aspect. I can get that from any of a number of free apps. I did get a fitbit at the encouragement of my coach (and by encountering a great sale). It verifies my steps and calories burned, faithfully, so I know I've been eating far fewer calories than I burn. Cannot understand the stall. Noom no better/worse than other programs.

Noom is a life changer for me. There are so many things I'd like to say about Nooms positive attributes though I'll keep it short as I'm using my smartphone to do this.
Faves:
1-It is super easy to track food in comparison to every other calorie tracker I've given a whirl.
2-The daily readings, goal coach, and group coach are all good at giving positive and proactive guidance on focusing on improving general diet and active lifestyle behaviors.
3-The weight tracker is awesome.
4-and more. I talk about noom to anyone who shows vague interest in why I'm eating healthy or who wants to know what's making me happy.
Cons:
1-every so often there are minor glitches in the technical processing of new information inputted. For instance, I'll update 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup and although the calories are update the amount remains the same. If I close and reopen it sorts itself out.
2-the embedded step counter appears wildly off sometimes, either too high or too low.. could be that my phone isn't positioned the best throughout the day, and that's fine, but it seems it's just a finicky measuring system.
Wishful thinking-
1-for future improvements I would love it if the system can figure out how to sync with heart rate monitors to try and get a more accurate accounting system for calories out.
2-it would be great if in the "do more" section there could be a place to put non-weight body measurements, like waist and hip. Especially as Noom is careful to say the goal is to attain weight loss through making new long-term habits (not a get skinny quick scheme)

I LOVE Noom- I can’t even pin point exactly why but I do! I am a 55 year old woman who has gradually put on weight over the last 10 years. Nothing I tried worked. But, on Noom, I have already lost 10 pounds in a few months and I really feel this is sustainable. I feel energized and motivated and HEALTHY! I highly recommend the program.

I love the personal approach to weight loss. For
The first time in years I have lost 10 pounds! What is more important is that this program is changing my way of life!

Noom is teaching me about calories and my eating habits. I always thought I ate healthy, but I was not. Logging everything I ate really opened my eyes. I love the tips and tricks to help with better eating. I do think it is funny that they refer to themselves as noom nerds. I noticed several grammatical errors in the daily reading. This distracts me from the lesson. This is a great program. I have lost five pounds in four weeks. I can see my bad habits when I don’t drop pounds.

Noom helps you recall the psychology behind why we do the things we do related to food and its consumption. It's a psychology buffer, a pause if you will, so that you are able to think before you act. Noom breaks down the behaviors in a logical fashion, making it easier to apply to every day life. When you are feuled with knowledge, food isn't center stage anymore. Knowledge gives you the strength needed to talk yourself logically through the day guiding you to make the right choices until the choices become a healthy habit. It's that simple!!!!

I have tried *** numerous times but always gained the weight back. Noom teaches the psychology behind eating what we do and how to develop a healthy new lifestyle. My husband and I are doing this together and we take turns making certain we have cut up fruits and/or veges on hand to grab and go or munch on rather than crackers and cheese. Overall we are seeing good results. I’m on week 5, on vacation and haven’t been able to weigh myself, but I’ve lost at least 5 lbs.

I have been using Noom for 4 weeks and lost 10lbs pretty painlessly. So far it’s way more comprehensive than other weight loss programs I have tried. It includes much more than just food tracking and goes into psychology, emotions, exercise, balance of foods you should eat, personalized coaching/goal setting, etc.

I have never been happier with a weight-loss program before. Sure, I've had faster results - quick fixes and magic bullets - but it never lasted, because I never changed my whole attitude around food. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Noom. It's all about educating, re-training, and changing habits and mindsets --- and truly just 10 minutes a day. I hate dieting. I hate deprivation. With Noom, I'm changing my relationship with food. I'm not being told what I can and cannot eat -- I'm learning what I should eat, and what I should eat less of. I can still eat anything I want to, but if I follow the Noom plan, I will eat less of it, and stay within my own boundaries so that I can also achieve my goals of being healthier, and losing weight. I have group support, and I have a weekly coach check in, but ultimately it's all on me. It isn't about a "diet." It's about me learning to make better choices, even trade-offs, for the rest of my life so that I can enjoy it as I want to. Noom *ISdifferent, and it is wonderful.

I have found Noom to be very easy to use, and it provides a consistent stream of encouragement and information to help with the weight loss process. It is not a quick loss system, which should yield the best long-term results.

Noom is a fantastic tool for Type A’s to lose weight, but it also teaches us how to eat, exercise and THINK about our overall health.

Been using for 4 weeks. Coach and group leader are fantastic

noom is best ever. I have been on many many diets
and it has the greatest support.

I have been using Noom for just over 4 weeks, I have lost 13 lbs and gained knowledge around weight loss.
I love the daily 10 minutes I give to myself each day reading the Noom activities. They are inspiring, informational and funny.
The group and individual coaches are helpful.

I have learned so much each day and I know noom has my back??

Noom helps you form healthy, life-changing habits, and feel better about yourself in the process. The Psych Tips are applicable to good decision making in other areas besides just weight management. With Noom, I’ve not only lost weight like never before, but I’ve learned to stop judging myself by the number on the scale, and start measuring success in other ways such as leading a more active lifestyle.

just the easiest phone app with daily suggestions and encouragement. Easy to log meals and make better choices.
