This program has been so different than any other I tried. It has many components that all work together to make it unique and more importantly effective in making weight loss a sustainable process that really can be life changing. Not just for a few weeks or months but forever!

I love noom!!.... keeps me accountable , gives me support , both with my coaches and group...Don’t feel deprived, eat whatever I want...

Great for accountability and calorie counting. So much of the psycho babble is info that is common knowledge but I guess some are unaware. Good long term weight loss plan.

I love the way Noom works changing my thought patterns than my behaviors. I've logged food with other apps before, and I find that Noom has a long way to go in updating its data base for scanning food. So, I'm not super happy with the food logging.
I also wish there was a way the food log could summarize over the course of a week or I could easily look back at my food log to track patterns... ? One day maybe that will be possible. I also wish there was any easy way to track goals or things that I put into the app- different commitment I put in- they all just get stuck in the articles and there's no way to go back to look at what I put in without reading the whole article again. So... yeah- I suppose if it could save some of those things into one place that I could review my commitments and things I've learned over time, that'd be great. You have 4 stars because I think the app is right on with changing habits and providing education instead of a quick fix. I'm not sure I'll loose the weight I wanted to though- I'm a bit worried- but I'm going to keep at it. :)
I think the articles and the information is fantastic. I love the humor and the interactive parts of Noom. I hope it doesnt charge me more if I don't make my goal date.

I like the way Noom puts major focus on the psychological aspects of weight control while offering applied solutions to those same aspects. Because Noom also addresses how and what to eat, it is offers a real holistic approach. Since it promotes a life-time change in behavior, the user has to put a little time into learning and applying the information, but when the outcome is good, the time is well spent.

I’ve been using NOOM for about 4 weeks and I like it. Although I haven’t lost much weight, I don’t think it has to do with the program. It does keep me motivated. I gave 4 stars because I think their food database needs more work such as the ability to create and save group meals so each item doesn’t have to be entered, the ability to make favorites, more serving size options, and a better/easier way to create your own recipes.

It is a interesting app that really help to lose weight and also to learn more about healthy life style

Noom is a good program with lots of good information presented in a fun way. Program participants need to learn to make healthy choices and sometimes this is hard but there is support along the way b

I’ve had an incredibly positive experience using the Noom app and the Noom program. There are a few minor things that I find to be slightly annoying, but they pale in comparison to the benefits of the program. They are very transparent and up front about the charges and payment schedule. They even reminded me when my free trial was about to end so I could cancel if I wanted to. It was not nearly as time consuming as I had expected it to be. I have recommended Noom to friends and family because I love it that much.

I am finding NOOM very helpful and supportive. My only criticism is that for the money, there should be a far bigger database of foods with which to enter, especially since the emphasis is on eating less highly prepared food.

Noom makes me accountable and aware and is a great tool for me for those reasons. Food logging is simple, the articles and education aren’t teaching me anything really new, but they are keeping my health journey fresh in my mind. It’s probably not the cheapest but it’s working for me.

Pretty good program. Nice information and motivation. Logging meals is motivational, although the process could be smoother. Peer groups in my age category are one-sided female, making that feature less attractive.

I have tried other calorie tracking apps before but I really appreciate that Noom categorizes different foods by color - sorting by gree indicating fruits and vegetables or foods that are great choices versus yellow for lean proteins and then red for foods that you might choice to limit due to higher fat contents. This really lets you see the impact of different food options. Plus they offer plenty of tips as to how to change food and eating habits. So far I have lost just over 15lbs in just over a month!

I love the daily psychology but it’s missing two things in my mind which prompts me to give 4 stars: accountability and a better system for tracking food. No one addresses why I haven’t really lost much weight since starting (I knew I wouldn’t for the first 6 weeks because of the many events I had; this is my November and December if you know what I mean). My coach hasn’t once asked me what might be the issue.
In regards to the food logging, many times the food isn’t listed or it is there but the options for the measurements I need to use aren’t. For example, in regards to cups, tablespoons, teaspoons, etc, I can only choose 1/4, 1/2, 3/4. What if I need to select 1/3 or 2/3’s? There have been times when I create a recipe in order to track a meal and the measurement I need just isn’t there.
The program itself is great if you want to truly understand why you make the choices you make when it comes to food.

All of the information is helpful. Logging meals has been made simple. My only suggestion is that there could be more information directed to older retired people as many things are geared to workplace and don’t apply to me.

I’ve been using Noom for 5 weeks now and I’m down 11 lbs! I had never tracked my food intake or thought about why I eat the way I do before trying Noom. Tracking my food intake is going well however there are some inconsistencies in the food database. It definitely needs the redundancies cleaned up. It’s also frustrating when something isn’t in the database but you enter all the nutritional values that it only applies the calorie count. It’s my understanding that Noom has a formula that is used to calculate if something falls in the red, yellow, or green categories. They should have that formula built into the app so that when you enter the nutritional values, the calculation runs and then categorizes the entry as red, yellow, or green based on that data. I also like that the app includes the psychology behind why we eat the way we do and helps you change your mindset and habits. The coach and group don’t really add much for me but that’s probably because I have a running group, running coach, and running buddy that provide the support and accountability that the coach and group provide. Overall, I like Noom however I don’t know if I will continue with it after my initial 4 month program.

Very educational. And Im losing weight

I love the daily reminders and tasks. This app is good for long term behavior changes. The only thing I would change is to allow for custom recipe building on the android app. I have not found a way to do this yet. Also, my step counts are imported from my Fitbit, but not my workouts, and it would be nice if the workouts imported as well.
Overall, very good app. No glitches that I have found and user friendly.

The principle and psychology behind Noom is very good. For those that need accountability and group support it is fantastic. There is a lot more to it than just logging your weight and meals and sometimes too much for me and everyday life. Overall I think it is a great program and has taught me a lot about the food choices I make and my commitment and sometimes lack thereof to lose weight.

So far I’ve been happy with the service. I like all the articles. I didn’t pay for the extra add on services at all.
