I mistakenly started a 14 day trial for a diet program. I realized the same day that it was a scam. They give you no way of contacting anyone to cancel. According to NOOM there is only one way to cancel but they have not given me the information I need to do so. They obviously want to delay the process so they can charge you and they have no refund policy.
Dear ***,
Thank you for taking the time to submit your complaint to the Revdex.com. We apologize for the trouble!
We took a look here and your Noom subscription/trial is in a 'canceled' state, and no charges have been made to your account so you should be all set.
Wishing you the best on your health and wellness journey!

This business is a trap. The free trial isn't free since they charge you $1.00 so they can get your credit card number. Two days after my free(not) trial ended, I quickly went on my phone to cancel and they had already charged my credit card $149.00. They refuse to refund. Wish I had read the reviews posted below so I wasn't the next victim of the trap! This needs to be stopped. There was no reminder or notice that your 2 weeks was about to end and give you the options and costs!!
This is scam!!! You cannot contact anyone at the company at all. You can only communicate through their app with some supposed weight loss coach. I've asked to cancel my supposed "free 14 day trial" which expires on 8/6 when they automatically charge me $150 for the year. I have tried to cancel this through the app under their instructions 5 times in the past 3 hours. I have now resorted to disputing the charge and blocking them from charging my account any further.
I wanted to lose weight. I saw Noom and thought how cute. I paid the initial $1.00 and thought okay, I'll cancel before the trial so I'm not charged. Basically, I was shopping before buying. The articles were okay and I was trying to keep my meals on an even keel but it was nothing great. Then, without warning $159 was taking from my PayPal account. Naturally people are busy so I thought they would let me know they were about to take money from me. I would have paid it were I warned. I would have paid it had I the money! I've read other reviews where Noom has answer and said look around our website for the fine details. No, as a business you have an obligation to inform your customers you are about to suck all the money from an account they've been trying to pay down for months. I canceled (I hope) but I also want a refund because I will not use it until the next billing cycle. Just when you think its safe to trust someone to help, they take all you have. At least some were charged $129...I was charged $159!!
I downloaded a trial for this app after viewing a *** ad. The company charges $1 for the trial (this is how they set you up to steal from you). When I signed up, I received a confirmation e-mail about how to use the app, but at no point was I ever given information on how long my $1 trial will last or how much the app will cost once the trial was over.
Fourteen days later, without notice, my card was charged $129 - an outrageous amount for this app... but see, since you already gave them your credit card number for that $1, they don't have to ask your permission or give you notice to charge you that huge amount. When I contacted the company and told them to cancel the service and refund the money immediately, nobody responded.
I had to go to their website to find out that once the trial is over, their policy is NO REFUNDS. That's right folks, whether you plan on using their service or not, THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. And I would like to add that the service offered is not worth what they're charging. The coaching is practically non-existent, the articles are hokey and the food/weight tracking tools aren't that amazing. There are free and cheaper services out there that are a lot more user friendly... and there are probably diet centers in your home town that are cheaper and produce real results and REAL coaching. (Look into Ideal Protein - it works! I lost 120 lbs and was a coach for years - so I know what it takes to be a diet coach and I know a good diet program when I see one. Noom isn't it.)
Guess what I also had to do on the advice of my bank! I had to cancel my debit card so they couldn't charge me again. That's right, I am going several days without my debit card because of the ratings on this site and others, stating that Noom will keep charging you, even though you cancel the service. So looks like I won't be buying anything for a few days.
Learn from my fail and don't trust this business with your health or your bank account.
It was virtually impossible to figure out how to cancel this "subscription."
I finally canceled, in writing and got a response that my "billing cycle" ended several months later.
When I asked for details I received ZERO response. I got repeated emails claiming that billing cycle ends in August. They refused to cancel my subscription or state where this "billing" cycle originated from. Weeks have good by with no response. Consumers should be able to unsubscribe from apps like these with ZERO hassle and deceptive practice.

Had a realized you needed to download the app to your phone I never would have signed up for the 14 day trial. Tried to cancel the trial, but you have to download the app in order to cancel. How ridiculous is that? I can't download the app because I have a Windows phone. After countless emails and posts on the company's facebook page I cancelled the recurring payment that I set up. This "business" is a scam and should face legal penalties!
I purchased Noom to help with weight loss. I quickly realized it wasn't everything it promised, so I stopped using it after I looked at my account and saw it didn't say anything about subscription or any fees after what I payed. My Coach knew I was inactive. I was recently charged $99 again without notice and when I contacted them, they refused to give me a refund, but said I can still use their services, even though they know I haven't used it in months. All responses I receive from anyone even my coach is scripted and not personal at all like it advertises. They take money with no warning or any way to get it back. Horrible services and communication.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I signed up for the free trial and they charged me $1 through my paypal account. Ater the trial ended they proceeded to take $129 out of my paypal account. Thankfully I acted quickly enough where paypal was able to refund the amount, but do not get this app!!
I signed up for the one week trial, but the app was not for me. I also had issues with accessing all features and the app lagging. Something seems to have gone wrong with canceling the payment on ***, I did absolutely not mean to start a subscription and yet I received a charge of 119€ on my card today, without a warning or notice and against my will. This is poor practice, and clearly meant to trick people into paying. I would like my refund.
I cannot possibly afford this kind of charge at the moment, and would like to request a refund/reclamation. I hope you can help me out. I am signed up with this same e-mail.
I am dissatisfied with the service and tried to cancel my subscription and the company did not refund my money. They have an automatic billing set up, could see I wasn't using the service, yet I received a message that there was nothing they could do. I was charged $159.00 for an absolutely virtual plan that has no personal interaction.

I wished I had read these reviews before signing up for the free 14 day trial, which just ended up costing me $129. Apparently my free trial ended on 6/24/18 and I just found the $129 today and tried to cancel the subscription. The only thing I was able to do was cancel future payments. Because I'm 2 days past the trial period ending they will not refund me any of my money. This is nonsense. I think they should alert you that your trial is about to end and ask you if you would like to continue the subscription before automatically taking your money. An expensive lesson to learn; buyer beware.
I joined Noom 2 weeks ago with a 2 week free trial. The app noted a monthly fee of $34 (I believe) after the free trial. My bank account was hit for $129, which I did not agree to. Which caused 2 back fees of $35 each. When I go to the app today requesting a free trial, it shows a fee of $49 after 2 weeks free. NO WHERE does it say $129.
From their Facebook page there are lots of others feeling scammed also. This appears to be normal practice for them.

I was icorrectly informed of the correct procedure to follow to cancel their subscription. After following these instructions, I was informed that cancellation was completed.
I continued to be charged for their services. I reached out to the company and initially they were confused about the issue, informing me that it appeared my account was already unsubscribed.
Later I was told that the procedure I was told to follow was incorrect.
I was refused a refund for being misinformed and was charged for 3 months of subscription against my will.
If needed, screenshots of these conversations can be supplied.

Be sure to write yourself a note about the end of the trial period! The company gives you no warning at all before charging your credit card.
Great for the first 6 weeks then the program changes. For the first 6 weeks I would give it 5 stars then the program pretty much drops to tracking food and exercise, with a group and coach on the side: NO DIFFERENT FROM WEIGHT WATCHERS. The psychological aspect and habit building all but disappear, and there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER!!! You can email but the quickest response I have gotten is 2 weeks and they basically just tell you to tell to your group leader or goal specialist who then feed you scripted lines like 'you're in the drivers seat' and 'you can always scroll back and look at day one again'.
So you sign up for the trial and its awesome and you love it. They say its gonna take you ____ long to reach your goal, you think heck yes and sign up for that long. Little do you know that everything after 6 weeks will not be like your trial and you're stuck with a lesser program (every single person in my group quit losing weight after 6 weeks, when the program changed) and you can't even call and ask for your money back (they wont refund you btw, even though they deliberately mislead you, even though the product you paid for is not the product you receive for the majority of your subscription).
TL;DR: DO NOT SIGN UP FOR MORE THAN 6 WEEKS OF THIS PROGRAM!!!
I went on this app and canceled my subscription in JANUARY before my free trial ended just like they suggested on the app. Apple app store told me I canceled it and even on the noom app it gives me the option to restore it so it was VERY obviously cancelled. Yet a few days ago I got charges $129!! I have sent multiple messages to the noom customer support and I have received NOTHING back in response to my complaints! So, now I have to dispute it with my bank because there is no customer service number. This company has been horrible all around and I want my refund and at the very least I want them to address my concerns to me personally. Email me noom!
Business like Noom Inc. is a disappointment to anyone who joins them with lot of hope and eagerness. I got an email with UPID that did not work. Without the UPID, I could not login to see their 'blue chat bubble' and without the bubble there is no way to request the coach to cancel the subscription. This is not at all a user-friendly service any business would think of and that has led to immediate loss of trust in Noom Inc.. I have requested cancellation of my subscription immediately after realizing that this could be another business with questionable ethics. Unfortunately the only phone number they have, directs the caller to the same internet app cycle that is described above. I do not know how to reach out to someone and request in 'good faith' to cancel my subscription. Is there anyone who could help me please?
No phone number to contact them. No easy way to cancel No notification that you will automatically be enrolled after the trial. Contacted via email and got no response.

I would not recommend this company or program. They claim they offer personalized support but nothing is personal and all you get is canned responses. They change the material 4 weeks in with no notice or explanation and then the material starts repeating even thought what you have been set up for is up to an 8 MONTH program. It’s difficult and slow to get in touch with anyone and can’t even talk to anyone... all through email only. I could go on... not worth the time!
