I understand NWT mint has filed for bankruptcy. What I don't understand is why...
they can't refund my money when they were doing business as usual through their web site as of April 11, 2016.
I originally indicated I did not want a refund, just the 200 oz of silver I paid for. I'd like to amend that, and I will accept a refund at this point.
Does their filing for bankruptcy mean they don't have to honor orders that have been paid for? Or does it mean that I will eventually get my money back?
I don't understand.... I had bought with them many times before, and they always got my order to me (though it took awhile). Does that filing, which had nothing to do with me, really mean they don't have to refund the $2,892 I have paid them? Please, please, help me.

[redacted]'s order [redacted] (ordered 9/23 Expiration Date 1/19) order shipped on 01/18/2016 tracking [redacted]. His other order, [redacted], was closed for refund 1/13 (order placed 09/09/2015). In order to issue a refund, we must first release his position on the metals that he originally ordered, confirm with shipping and handling that it has not been packaged and shipped, confirm with production that it is not in the process of being produced, and contact the accounting department after all these steps have been taken. We were able to expedite his refund within 5 days and his refund check was mailed on 01/19/2016. Check number [redacted] in the amount of Three thousand Two-Hundred Two ($3,202.98) Dollars & 98/100's.
We will amend our response to this complaint when delivery confirmation is available on the order shipped and clearance information on the check is available from our bank. Other than these two additional details, there is nothing further for NWTM to do in this matter.

Mr. [redacted] requested a refund on this order on 11/03/15. Mr. [redacted] refund check #[redacted] in the amount of Nine Thousand Six Hundred Forty-Three ($9,643.96) Dollars & 96/100’s (for all Mr. [redacted] remaining orders [redacted]) was cut and mailed on 11/30/15.
Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: because this is unacceptable behavior. I am taking legal and civil action now and these legal and civil actions will ensure that if any compensation is available at any time you will be responsible for restitution!!!!
Mr. [redacted] deposited the original check that cleared our bank on 08/31/15, before the stop payment could take effect. The second check that was cut today has been pulled and destroyed. This order is now closed.

state of Washington. This is no explanation as to why they accepted my money under false claim and failed to deliver merchandise At what time and date were the bankrupt proceedings filed???. If they took my money after the bankrupt proceedings were filed, this constitutes what I believe is Felony theft. I want to know when my money will be repaid???

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have received the check for $5121.00. This response does not address the timeliness of these refunds nor why it takes better than 6 weeks to process a refund when the company insists on their money within 72 hours. When I receive the other refunds for $4092.00 and $3320.00 and actually receive the final shipment of 200 1-ounce rounds (the 1 shipment I did not cancel) then I will consider this matter resolved. I still feel the timeliness (6-months to finally fulfill an order) is not truthful on their website which states 8-10 weeks for shipment and a possible extra 30 days if needed. My orders were placed starting May 9, 2015; June 3 and June 5, 2015; and last order July 17, 2015. Note that my first refund check arrived Oct 19, 2015 and the next 2 refunds will not arrive until after Nov 10, 2015. May to October is 6 months --- nowhere on their website is this stated or even indicated. That is fraudulent advertising or at the very least very deceptive and I feel it should be corrected for other possible consumers so future consumers won't get caught up the fiasco I have endured.
