I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] My house is now in full forclocsure for over 65000$because of your negligence in resolving this in a TIMELY manner..My documentation from the mechanic that solved the problem with the fact that YOUR $ part of the ignition coil pack was too weak a signal to cause the whole problem that I bought the part to fi x???? I have already sent documents that show your error in crediting my account dollars then a withdrawl of over the total cost !What is the resolution here?? In regards to the complaint that Mr [redacted] has filed we would like to respond furtherOur manufacture warranty covers defects due to metrails or workmanshipAfter careful examination and extensive testing by the manufacturer, it was determined that the failure was not related to any defects in the material or workmanship of the productAs a result, the manufacturer has denied the claim due to embedded carbon debris particlesAt this time Advance Auto Parts supports the manufactures findings; but is still sending the $check as a gesture of good will.As previously advised, we have claim # [redacted] that we opened just days ago after receiving this complaint Our warranty claims team was not contacted regarding this claim; so AAP was unaware of this opportunity We see that [redacted] was recently contacted by [redacted] regarding this, however our warranty claims team at [redacted] can be called to check on the progress.Our promise is to provide superior customer service and offer high quality products when you need themThank you for allowing us to respond

Thank you for bringing this to our attentionMs [redacted] daughter was not the “purchaser” of the alternator; the repair shop purchased the alternator from Advance Auto PartsWith this being said any warranty provided to Ms [redacted] daughter would normally be through the repair shop that purchased the alternator from Advance Auto Parts since the warranty is not transferable From the information provided, Advance Auto Parts has already gone above the warranty and provided an exchange on the alternator on separate occasions in an attempt to help out the end user of the alternator At this point we will not be able to provide labor reimbursement for these repairs
