We were misled when we went over the documentsIt was not the loan we expectedWhen I complained, the manager was not very knowledgeable of the lending processI requested a copy of our loan documents, which I receivedI also filed a complaint with the state banking commission They also received a copy of my documents However the copy they got showed more information than what I receivedThe way interest was being calculated was not on the paperwork I receivedAfter two payments, my payoff was still $higher than what I borrowedNever again!!!

I needed OneMain Financial Services because I was having a financial crisis and it was the middle of the day, however when I called OneMain the representative listened to my concerns schedule me an appointment same day and was able to take care of my crisis as well as provided me additional money to help me further They are awesome and I will use them again should I have a financial crisis

my experience was mostly good - the online application was very convenient and Susan in the office was helpfulmy only issue was that I agreed to added insurance (disability and unemployment insurance) at the time of signingbut when I found out that my personal insurance would cover this in many ways, I opted out of the coverage (less than days like the signage in the office states) but was informed that it wouldn't change my monthly payment at all, that the payment would still include the additional coverage and that it would fall off at the end of the life of the loanthis is very deceptivethis needs to either be explained better up front when someone opts for the coverage (explain what it means to cancel in the first days) OR the signage needs to be more clearI would have opted to not purchase at signing but investigate my private coverage first and then add the coverage if neededthe other employee who I signed the form with (to cancel the extra insurance on the loan) was not friendly and was very matter of fact - which I don't mid direct communication - but she missed any empathy for the fact that I wasn't given the best information to make an informed decision at the time of signing - and I feel that the lack of information is a systemic issue, not necessarily a customer service issuebut otherwise, I have been pleased with my experience

I think that OneMain Financial is good cause they give a person an opportunity to get a loan and able to fix their creditThe next time I need a new loan I know where to go

The experience of obtaining a personal loan through one main wasn't what I expectedThe banker herself was pretty nice at first but we kept going back and forth through the phone for her to process my applicationI understand she was trying to be helpful, but at some point it just felt unprofessionalShe even gave me the wrong fax number for me to send her my personal information which I was pretty upset about and she didn't even apologize for the incorrect informationAt the end she just wanted to hurry and get the loan docs signed Through the paperless disclosures she didn't offer for me or my husband who was also in the loan to read and sign off on it She just clicked away and semi explained what it was forI was very upset to uncover, after everything was signed off l, that I was being charged a $loan processing feeWhich is actually ridiculous to me, given the fact that the interest is really highOverall for me getting a personal loan was the worst experience and the banker that helped didn't make it any better

Service was the worst ever! We basically had to beg our location staff for a loan, even with a year tundra double cab truck with miles as colateral and a credit score they only gave us a dll loanWhen asking for more money on our loan we were deniedDon't even know the lady our location but the manager does what ever she saysWe asked to be serviced at another location but we were told we had to use our location!
