While this company was fast to provide the loan I needed, I have issues with how I can manage my accountI cannot set up automatic payments even though the website encourages me to do it every time I make a payment I go through the process and then it tells me my verified bank account is not eligible for automatic payments I also cannot view ANY statements online nor do I get statements by email although I have signed up for electronic statementsThe only thing I can do on the website is make payments and view payment history I can't even see how much interest they are charging me each month

I came to OneMain for a loan when I was in a tight spot with some debt Although the interest rates are ridiculous, I did get the loan, which I continue to make monthly payments on My only (nonstop) gripe with this institution is I CANNOT MAKE ANY ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS TO PRINCIPAL IF AND WHEN I WANT TO, and that's just awful! When I've inquired about this, I've simply gotten "pay on the due date to avoid extra interest." WELL I ALSO WANT TO PAY DOWN MY PRINCIPAL AND GET RID OF THIS *** LOAN ALREADY! They really should add a feature to their website with a button that allows you to make payments to JUST PRINCIPAL when you want, like other lenders have, or simply give you the option to do so

This is by far the worst company to deal withThey constantly hound you trying to push you further in debtWhen you try to resolve your debts and get things completed, they take the longest possible amount of time to return your paperworkThen they chose to return the title to my vehicle and instead left me with charges through the state to have a title search completed and a new title issued because they couldnt be bother to maintain accountability of sensitive documents, like the title to a vehicleDO NOT BORROW FROM THEM FOR ANY REASON!

The rep who signed me up lied to meI applied for a regular loan and she came back with a vehicle title loanI told her it doesn't make sense since the car will be paid off in year and she promised me after a year I can call up and have them release the titleI have called numerous times and reps tell me they have to have a manager call meA manager never called and I literally called over 10x'sI finally got a call form a rep relaying a message for the manager saying they cant release the tittlePoor Customer service and horrible managementWouldn't recommend them to anyone

I was very happy with my transaction at OneMain Financial I have already referred one of my children, who had a good experience as well

Your Wilkes-barre pa office has the worst employees to deal withThere is never the same people thereThey force you into something that you don't want to do with your accountThey talk down to you and are not willing to work with youI would like to try to get my payments down to something that I can afford right now and they are not willing to even listenI will never do business with you again after my account is paid off
