seriously at Online City Tickets and would like to take the time to address Mr [redacted] concerns. It should be noted that Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. This fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: “We are a resale marketplace. Prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue.”
When Mr. [redacted] selected tickets and was taken to our checkout page, they were directed to review their itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed all fees, the price per ticket, that all prices are in US Dollars (USD) and the total price in bolded text. Mr. [redacted] was then directed to review our terms and conditions—visible in a text box below this order total—and presented with the bolded message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” At this point, Mr. [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkout. After checking the box and clicking “Review Order”  they are taken to the checkout page which features an even more in-depth order summary that displays the number and prices of their tickets, delivery and service fees, and the total charge.
Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process—from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Additionally, all sellers on our site are notified as soon as an order for their tickets is placed, which means we are unable to cancel orders or offer refunds. 
We have been in contact with Mr. [redacted] regarding this issue and have reiterated our policies, specific to the price in US Dollars. As a one-time courtesy, we have also provided a resolution, which Mr. [redacted] may pursue by contacting us through any of our contact information posted on our site. Our management team is available to handle any additional concerns that Mr. [redacted] may have; as it stands, however, we consider this matter closed.

It should be noted that in addition to this current claim, Mr. [redacted] has also filed a dispute with their credit card company regarding this order, which has ultimately ruled in our favor. Any other issues regarding the outcome of this dispute should be handled directly by the bank they filed the dispute with. We have been in contact with Mr. [redacted] regarding this issue, but have been unable to reach an amicable resolution. While our management team is available to handle any additional concerns that Mr. [redacted] may have, we consider this matter closed.

Fast and easy! Even received my tickets sooner than expected!

I am rejecting this response because: Nothing they say in response to my complaint addresses the point that they used a deceitful practice (misleading URL) to lead me into their site.  There are over 135 similar complaints at the Consumer Affairs website.
The web page gives no clear indication that you are on a Resellers page -- The big header reads OAKLAND TICKETS, the next biggest header says BROWSE EVENTS AT FOX THEATER OAKLAND and only when you read the small print does it say anything about their being a reseller.  
Online City Tickets used an intentionally misleading URL to trick me into thinking I was purchasing my ticket from the box office of the venue I was buying tickets for.  In my case, I wanted to buy tickets for Van Morrison at the Fox Theater in Oakland.  Online City Tickets uses the URL fox.theatreoakland.com.  This is intentionally deceitful. 
Online City Tickets may be a legitimate business (I hope so for my sake) but they operate in a sleazy fashion.

I received the tickets fast once I see game I will know more if I like this company or not!

Received tickets fast. Outrageous "service fee" which is not revealed until you go to actually pay for the tickets.

facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.As we are not affiliated with any venue, we sufficiently notify customers to print tickets prior to their event. Our customer placed their order on 6/19/2017 at 2:13 PM CST and immediately received their valid tickets via email to print and bring to their event. This email clearly states, “Your tickets are ready to print!" and "Click here to download and print your tickets. You must print out the PDF document to gain entry to the event. The PDF document is your ticket. This email is not valid for entry to the event.” As a courtesy, this email was re-sent to our customer on 8/10/2017 and 8/11/2017 prior to their event later that evening. We encourage customers to print their tickets prior to traveling to their event as we are unable to ensure the venue will scan tickets from a mobile device or provide assistance in printing.Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter and, as a courtesy, a representative offered a resolution in the interest of customer service stepping outside of the agreed to terms. Our customer declined this offer as an amicable resolution. If our customer has any additional concerns pertaining to their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service department; at this time, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Online City Tickets

Quick reply to order. Would use again.

I was able to order my tickets online without any problems and received my order confirmation on the same day. I had a nice experience.

generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Though Ms. [redacted] has indicated that the event has been cancelled; this is inaccurate. Ms. [redacted] selected tickets for 2017 Houston Rodeo with a featured performance by [redacted]. However, the event later announced that there would be a featured artist modification. As the main event is the Houston Rodeo and Ms. [redacted] tickets would still be valid for the event, she is not due for a refund per the agreed upon policies. Prior to placing her order, Ms. [redacted] was adequately notified of the “all sales are final” policy Online City Tickets has in place. Additionally, our policies clearly state, “All sales are final. A full refund of the purchase price will be given for cancelled events” and “Event date, times, venue and subject matter may change… We shall not be held responsible for any such change and will not be obligated to provide a refund or any other compensation in the event such a change occurs.” Prior to placing her order, Ms. [redacted]  selected a check box signifying her agreement to the sales terms and proceeded to place her order.Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are typically unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.This information was clarified to Ms. [redacted] when she contacted us on 2/16/2017. Nevertheless, in the interest of customer service, we have attempted to contact Ms. [redacted] to offer a one-time courtesy resolution. We were unable to contact her via telephone and have provided a resolution to Ms. [redacted] via email in the interest of customer service. As such, we consider this matter resolved and encourage Ms. [redacted] to contact our customer service if she has any additional concerns regarding her order.Regards,Online City Tickets
