Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaintIn fact, this is exactly how Optima duped me as a consumer - very clear and repeated verbal promises were made, based on which I agreed to proceed with the servicesYet as soon as the company received my money, they promptly changed their position and since that time they have been hiding behind "if you do not have it in writing, then you are out of luck !"Furthermore, in an attempt to achieve a resolution, [redacted] (from Optima) and I agreed that the company would obtain a tax penalty abatement, the amount of which would then be deducted from the disputed amount of $10,000.00, and the balance would be refunded to meUnfortunately the IRS refused to extend any penalty abatement, and although I repeatedly approached Optima after this resolution, all my emails have gone unanswered, as well as my last two messages that I have leftBased on Optima's response to this complaint, it is very clear that the company has no interest in resolving the issue, and at this point I see no other alternative than to pursue a public media campaign and legal action in an attempt to put a stop to Optima's fraudulent business practices Regards, [redacted] ***

After trying to get my tax nightmare resolved with another company and failing miserable after spending $I heard an ad on the radio about Optima TaxThat phone call was the best thing I could have ever doneThey stopped the harassing phone calls and finally helped me negotiate a solution which Io was comfortable withI no longer have to walk around worrying about my $25k debtThat's all over nowTheir staff was knowledgeable, very informative and definitely professionalThey always kept me up to date with the status of my case from start to finishI would definitely recommend Optima Tax Relief

SUMMARY - Optima Tax's management had already addressed the client’s concerns listed in his rebuttal in our initial response, however we are happy to further clarify hereRESPONSE - Optima Tax management's initial response to the complaint was clear, accurate and preciseContrary to the client's claim, at no point did we fail to file his tax returnIn fact, due to filing the return that included an outstanding balance, this is the only reason why his Installment Agreement amount increasedWe have made it very clear to the client that Optima Tax had no influence on the increase of his payment plan and the decision to increase his payment amount is strictly up to the IRSThe IRS has certain protocols in place that we cannot override nor ignoreThe client was thoroughly educated as to why his payment increased but he refuses to accept the facts of his caseFurthermore, and as the client stated, he was previously set up on an Installment Agreement for with the IRS that he negotiated prior to contacting Optima Tax ReliefWhen the IRS accepts any agreement there are certain stipulations that the tax payer must follow to ensure the agreement stays in tackPart of that agreement is the tax payer must file their tax returns on time and pay any outstanding balances or the agreement will become null and voidSince the client had a balance for his original agreement was cancelled and Optima Tax established and negotiated the current agreement that is in place on his behalfTo provide further reassurance and proof to the client we provided the client with the name and employee ID number of the IRS agent we were woking with on behalf of the clientTo claim that we did not provide this information is another inaccurate statementAdditionally, the client breached the agreement in June of that unfortunately caused a long term delay on his caseOnce we resolved the matter in October of 2015, Optima Tax began working his case as outlined in the agreementOnce the client reached back out to Optima Tax after his unfortunate health issues, he requested that we continue servicing his caseWe presented him an option regarding his resolution that the client acceptedWe are also pleased to say that we were able to reduce the client’s liability as wellOptima Tax is happy to address any further questions or concerns that may arise regarding this matter

Optima Tax was fantastic solving my IRS issues They had an entire team assigned to my case and I could have never asked for more professional team They did what they said they would do and moreFrom the time I made the first call, they made me feel at ease, and assured me they would be able to help I would recommend Optima Tax Relief to anyone who has to face the IRS

I would really like to take the time and thank Optima Tax Relief for all that they have done for me Since 2001, I started getting into debt with the IRS I was really young and naïve, made a few mistakes, which led me into owing the IRS up to about $15,I was lost and had no where to turn As skeptical as I was, which I am about most things, I called OTR and moved forward with my tax resolution This process didn't happen over night, but in the end it was all worth it OTR was able to help me qualify and get an Offer in Compromise, in which we settled for $ Plus a few other requirements Although everyone's situation is different, I highly recommend OTR to help you with your tax situationI also owe a huge gratitude to [redacted] and the rest of the team, they helped me move through the process with not a whole lot of stress and ease Once again thank you A tax debt that has been looming over my head for about years is now settled, and I can now move on Thank you OTR!

It's was a very competitive experience the one I had with Optima Tax they was always there for me when I needed or when I have a question ,they realy brought me back my tranquility of be free of the fear I was living ,thanks to them I can sleep at night now and the result was the best I can imagine

I am not incompetent and I believe I was intentionally misled and misinformed In addition, I cannot keep quiet about what happened to me I am outraged and I feel I need to share my experience on media websites and to my colleagues Putting me on a payment plan with the IRS is not worth $2,000.00! SUMMARY - Optima Tax's management has attempted to make contact with the client but they have yet to return any messages or emails RESPONSE - Optima Tax’s management has made multiple attempts to reach the client both by phone and by email without a responseAs the client stated, she contacted Optima Tax regarding her outstanding tax liabilityHer assigned Tax Associate educated the client as to our process and why we must conduct a thorough investigation into her case and the client ultimately agreed to move forward During our recorded compliance calls, which every client goes through, the client is asked a serious of questions covering all disclosures and all details of the program they are enrolling intoDuring the call, we inform the client that some of the information we obtain from the tax authority during our investigation of the client’s tax situation may be information the client already knows ofAfter all disclosures are made and the client clearly expresses they fully understand the terms of their program enrollment we then continue moving forwardIn this particular instance, the client agreed to move forward after full disclosures were made and they had a clear understanding of their program details Subsequently, Optima Tax conducted and completed their investigation servicesThe information we obtained from the IRS is used to formulate our strategy to help resolve the client’s outstanding liability The information we gathered and relayed to the client came directly from the IRSThis also includes the possibility of the year she mentioned in the complaint having a different balance than she originally anticipatedAfter going over the details of our summary and proposed services to help resolve her liability the client explained to us that she felt she had to do some research on the year she thought had a lower balanceAt that point the client ceased all communication with Optima TaxHer assigned agent followed up with her on multiple occasions, but the client stopped respondingUntil her balance reaches zero, the IRS will continue to add on penalties and interest At Optima Tax we strive to uphold the philosophy that "clients come first" and all of our representatives go through rigorous training to assure we abide by that philosophyWe take all complaints very seriously, and we do our best to turn them around when possibleOptima Tax will continue their efforts to make contact with the client until a resolution is metPlease do not hesitate to contact Optima Tax with any questionsThank you
