Having a serious problem with the IRS, is not something to be ignored To hide from the reality that an issue with far reaching and potentially devastating impact on your personal and family future, can and will adversely affect your ability to conduct a 'normal' life Optima Tax Relief was instrumental in addressing the necessary actions to facilitate a favorable outcome to the tax issues facing me The process was defined and all my questions answered in a timely manner The only issue was the IRS's lack of urgencyOptima Tax Relief responded to any and all inquires from the IRS in a day, but then had to wait for the Bureaucratic Leviathan to react Optima Tax Relief requested information from me and acted on it to build and support a case defending my current financial positionThough this process was methodical and meticulous, I understood the importance of the need to be patient Optima tax Relief represented everything that they stated initially to me with confidence, credibility and competenceI would not hesitate to recommend them as a company that follows through and understands the needs that individuals are seeking to resolve their tax issues Though my issue has been resolved, would I use them again if needed?This is a no-brainerYES

SUMMARY - Optima Tax's management made contact with the client to discuss his concerns as outlined in the complaintUnfortunately, we have yet to hear from the client and we are awaiting his response RESPONSE - Optima Tax’s management has attempted to contact the client to discuss his allegations as outlined in the complaint but he has yet to return any calls or emailsAlthough it’s unfortunate he had experienced the frustrations as he described, we made multiple attempts prior to receiving the complaint to address his concernUnfortunately the client never responded to those attemptsIt is regrettable that the client was having issues with faxes, however, although we receive a large amount of faxes daily, there has not been any indication that there was a problem with our faxesIf the client had returned our initial phone calls we could have better ascertained the issue and possibly forward it to our Information Technology team to fix any technical issues In light of client’s nonresponsiveness, however, we have no choice but to close this case per his request but we will continue to make contact with the client to address his concerns At Optima Tax we strive to uphold the philosophy that "clients come first" and all of our representatives go through rigorous training to assure we abide by that philosophyWe take all complaints very seriously, and we do our best to turn them around when possibleWe will continue our efforts in reaching the client Thank you

There is only one word to describe the service they provided, "UNBELIEVABLE." I'm lost for wordsThey did it, where other companies have failedFurthermore, all their staff members who helped are very professional, compassionate, and respectfulI will definitely refer them to anyone, that needed this type of service

SUMMARY - Optima Tax's management had reached out to the client multiple times prior to receiving the complaint, in an attempt to address their concerns RESPONSE - Optima Tax’s management has been in contact with the client since May of to address their questions and concerns as outlined in the complaintAs the client stated, the client hired Optima Tax Relief to represent him before the IRS due to an outstanding tax liabilityPrior to engaging Optima Tax’s services, the client was provided with a breakdown of the services to be provided and the cost associated with such serviceThereafter, the client made the voluntary decision to utilize IRA funds to pay for Optima Tax’s servicesAlthough the client may have incurred additional penalties for early withdrawal of retirement funds, Optima Tax did not require the client to use IRA funds Although we understand and appreciate the client’s concerns, at no point did Optima Tax delay providing our services on the client’s caseWhile the client was enrolled in Optima Tax’s services, Optima Tax informed the client that we had to wait for the IRS to process certain documents that had been filedAs a result of the client’s tax circumstances, the processing of these documents by the IRS would take several months to be completedOptima Tax conveyed this information to the client on numerous occasions, and informed the client that we were preparing options to protect the client from continued collection activity from the IRS in the interim while the documents processed Moreover, the client’s statement that Optima Tax “scared and bullied” the client is falseOptima Tax’s respoinsibility is to fully inform our client’s of the various actions the IRS can and will take to collect on any outstanding tax liabilityAs an example and as the client stated in the complaint, the IRS can place a lien against a tax payer to secure their interest in the debtTherefore, the client’s claim that we were using scare tactics in order to persuade the client to entering our services is falseOptima Tax merely provided the client with all relevant information in order for the client to make an informed decision about engaging our services Optima Tax employs numerous tax professionals, whom represent our client’s before the IRS and establish tax resolutionsIn addition to our tax professionals, each client is provided a Case Manager, who acts as the liaison between the client and the tax professionalThis provides our tax professionals with the efficiency to review the case and establish the best resolutions for our clientsTherefore, although the client was not able to directly meet with the Tax Professional, Optima Tax was more than accommodating to arrange in-person meeting between the client and the Case Manager In conclusion, we fail to see how the client determined that there was any misrepresentationOur advertisement is clear as well as our contractTo ensure that there is a complete understanding to the services our clients sign up for, each client will go through a voice recorded Verification CallIn this particular case, the client went through the Verification process that covers the contracted services as well as various legal disclosures with each disclosure requiring a “yes” answer before moving forwardAfter reviewing the Verification Call the client answered “yes” to each disclosure and gave us a rating to their level of understanding of the contracted services with being the highest rating a client can give At Optima Tax we strive to uphold the philosophy that "clients come first" and all of our representatives go through rigorous training to assure we abide by that philosophyWe take all complaints very seriously, and we do our best to turn them around when possibleOptima Tax believes it has addressed the client's concerns appropriately and considers the matter closedPlease do not hesitate to contact Optima Tax with any questionsThank you

When I first heard of Optima on the radio I was skeptic but after calling and talking with them I was convinced they could help me so I signed upThey always called to update me on my situation and progress and to a if I had any questions or concerns at that timeAnd after all was said and done I went from owing more than 55,to less than 3,I would recommend to everyone that has tax problemsThey changed my life by helping me get it back on track

SUMMARY - Optima Tax's management has made multiple attempts to contact the client to address his concerns but we have yet to establish communication RESPONSE - Optima Tax’s management has attempted to contact the client and we are hopeful that we can come to a mutual resolveThe client alleges that Optima Tax is not diligent in its operations because it requested documents from the client multiple timesWhen Optima requests documents from the client it instructs the client on the specific requirements that are required by the IRS for each documentOnce we receive requested documents from the client, we provide them to the IRS accordinglyThe IRS agent receiving the documents will review them and make the final decision of whether to accept the documentsIn the event that the agent decides not to accept a document, Optima Tax must ask the client to resubmit the documentGiven the sheer volume of documents the IRS processes, there is often a lapse in time between when we send documents to the IRS and when we are given a responseThis explains the lapse in time between our requests that the client identifies Although the client believes his case is not complex, the IRS does not treat any case with less scrutinyMoreover, Optima Tax believes all of its client’s cases are important and seek to provide the best possible result for our clients Therefore, we thoroughly analyze each case and this process can take timeIn contrast to the client’s belief, we were on the verge of finalizing a resolution with the IRS on the client’s behalf when he became non-responsive Once we were advised that the client wanted to cancel our services and was seeking a refund, one of our Executive Relations representatives immediately reached out to the clientWe have no record of the client returning her callsThe agent also sent out a non-responsive email urging the client to contact us to discuss his concernsUnfortunately the client never gave us an opportunity to address his concerns prior to receiving the complaint At Optima Tax we strive to uphold the philosophy that "clients come first" and all of our representatives go through rigorous training to assure we abide by that philosophyWe take all complaints very seriously, and we do our best to turn them around when possibleOptima Tax will continue its attempts to make contact with the clientWe are hopeful that we can come to a mutual resolve if the client returns our attempts to reach himThank you

Started in November of with a very large debt to the IRS, it took two years, but it was well worth it, yes sometimes I did get upset because things weren't moving as fast as air would have like, but well worth the waitWe are debt free, thanks to OptimaThanks again

My experience with Optima Tax was very positiveThey always kept me informed on their progressI would recommend Optima Tax services to all in need

I am so disappointed that I hired this company to do absolutely nothing that they said they wouldThey charged me $and after their investigation, said there was nothing they could do for me because my income was too highThat was totally disclosed with IRS documents and verbally before they took my caseThey said all they could do was set up a payment plan for me with the IRS and the stateI told him I can set that up myselfI hired them to do principal reduction that they said they were going toThey said my income was too high after the results of their investigationAgain, that was disclosed from the first conversation and the first set of documents I sent them but I was still told they were going to do the principal reductionTotal scam

There was a bit of a communication issue when I found out half way thru the process that Optima would not be taking care of my delinquent state tax issuesThat being said my Federal tax issues were resolved with a greater than 99% savings with acceptance of my offer of compromiseMy Federal tax issues were resolved beyond my expectations and I would highly re commend Optima for your Federal tax needs

I finally contacted Optima Tax Relief to help me I had been putting it off because you just don't believe anything anymore Well I wish I had called sooner The people were wonderful We followed all of their instructions Then the next phone call I received from them was "now that you no longer owe any back taxes" I couldn't believe my ears The biggest weight was lifted from our shoulders I couldn't be more pleased with this company

Optima Tax Relief helped relieve a lot of stress with owing unpaid taxes! They stopped all liens and garnishments and resolved all my issues in a timely mannerThey were very professional and patient throughout the entire process! I will definitely use them again in the future!

SUMMARY - Optima Tax's management has been in contact with the consumer and addressed their concerns accordingly RESPONSE - Optima Tax’s management has been in communication with the client so we may formally address their concerns as outlined in the complaintAlthough we have various clients that reach out to Optima Tax with a resolution in place, at no point do we advise our clients to cease making their payments to the IRSHowever, if there will be an additional balance for a tax year that is not already included in the clients resolution they are advised that it will default and a new resolution will need to be negotiatedIn this particular case, the clients did have an additional tax year that had an unpaid balance, which resulted in their original Installment Agreement being defaulted As a result, Optima Tax was able to establish a new Agreement on their behalf which included this additional balance and will protect them from future enforcement actions being taken by the IRS Upon completing our review, the client inaccurately states the amount that was paid to Optima TaxIn fact, the amount that the client contractually agreed to pay and ultimately paid to Optima Tax is less than half of the amount that the client states in the complaintIn addition, in contrast to the client’s claims that Optima Tax did not do anything, it is Optima Tax’s belief that it has performed all of its obligations as outlined in the AgreementOptima Tax provides each client with clear disclosures as to the services that it will perform in order to establish a clear expectation from our clients on what they can expectAt no point does Optima Tax use misrepresentations or fraud to induce clients to engage our services In regards to the client’s statement that we did not prepare his tax returns, it appears that Optima Tax was prepared to file the client’s tax return and requested the appropriate information from the clientOur records indicate that the client decided to prepare his own taxesHowever, upon the client’s request, Optima Tax did review his tax return for him to ensure complete accuracy It’s unfortunate that the client feels as if Optima Tax did not service his case as outlined in the agreementWe fully respect his opinion but based off our review, his case had been worked as outlined in the agreementHis assigned team worked towards the best resolution possible given his financial circumstances and based off the IRS guidelinesAlthough the client had the ability to contact the IRS on his own to work out an arrangement, the fact of the matter is, he hired Optima Tax to perform the services on his behalf, which it successfully completedWe are pleased to say that we were able to come to a mutual resolve with the consumer At Optima Tax we strive to uphold the philosophy that "clients come first" and all of our representatives go through rigorous training to assure we abide by that philosophyWe take all complaints very seriously, and we do our best to turn them around when possibleOptima Tax believes it has addressed the client's concerns appropriately and considers the matter closedPlease do not hesitate to contact Optima Tax with any questionsThank you
