I would like to say, thank you Optima!
You worked wonders for me with my tax debt and I did indeed pay a fraction of what I could have paid (not including Optima fees) but I am still way under what I could have had to pay
The whole process took longer than I though it would, but that was due to the IRS, not Optima
So, again Thank You, staff at Optima

When I first contacted Optima tax relief, *** told me they would handle and negotiate all my tax needsAfter I paid them $4045.00, they will only file state taxes and there will be no negotiating with the state franchise board
*** also told me that he would be my contact for the entire process, not trueI have been passed on to different people with their company
They rushed me to get all this paperwork in to them, threatening that if I don't, the IRS would garnish my wages sooner than later
The last time I heard from the via email was July, 27th I have emailed them since then and I haven't heard ANYTHING from themI am not able to call due to the fact that I work in construction with a hour commute each way and cell service is not very good
I have gone to their client portal and it states that my account is in investigationsI don't know what that meansBut, if they're investigating me, you would think that they would have questions for me and at least try to get ahold of me
I cannot believe that they have had so many good reviews which is the reason I decided to go with them in the first place
Be very cautious if you do business with Optima Tax ReliefI wish I would have used someone elseDon't get taken like I did

I can only praise Optima Tax Relief LLC for the help they gave me to resolve an issue of back taxes owed to the IRS!
The process that I went through was extremely fair in many ways! The time that it took to reach an offer in compromise (Fresh Start) was fair! The actual offer in compromise was more than fair! The fee that I was required to pay Optima Tax was also more than fair! I went from owing the IRS $13,000+ to reaching an IRS accepted offer of $100!
The company should be very proud of each and every employee that they have working for them! Each person that I came in contact with, through the different departments, was very helpful in getting through each phase of the process! Each employee was very personable and made you feel that you were not alone in getting the help you needed!
I would not hesitate to recommend Optima Tax LLC to anyone that may be seeking a resolution of IRS tax debt! If you need this kind of help, don't hesitate to call them right away! You won't be sorry!

management contacted the client regarding her claim as outlined in the

verification call, which recorded client’s acknowledgement of Optima’s services, it was
evident that the client did not hire Optima to assist with any state tax
issuesHowever, when the client brought this concern to our management, out of
our commitment to provide excellent customer service and as a courtesy,
we decided and had advised that we would only assist in a limited capacity at
no cost, i.eto prepare her state return and to provide limited guidanceIt
is regrettable that the client had perhaps misunderstood the scope of our
service at the time, however, as supported by both verbal and written evidence,
we had clearly conveyed the extent of our courtesy service to the client. Per our decision to provide such courtesy
service, the team assigned to her case prepared the necessary paperwork and to
finalize, the client was given an instruction to sign the document, gather
certain financial documents and mail everything to the stateAfter one of our

I was kind of unsure about Optitax at first, simply because there were no guarantees, my private information was being sent online, and just not sure what could be done for me with the IRS And although it was a slow and thorough process, I am free of a $45,debt with them for a compromise of $00! Although the client failed to make timely payment to Optima Tax, this in no way affected the tax resolution that Optima Tax had previously established for the clientTherefore, the client’s suggestion that Optima Tax mishandled the client’s case because of the missed payment is unfounded As stated in our initial response, Optima Tax successfully negotiated a favorable payment arrangement of $on behalf of the clientUnfortunately the client failed to make manual payments to the IRS, as instructed by Optima Tax, in order to comply with the agreement and before the direct debit took placeIn turn, this put the arrangement in default statusThe client was given both verbal and written instructions on how to make manual payments until the direct debit was processed by the IRS Each client that is set up on a direct debit payment arrangement must make 3-manual payments before the electronic debit is processed by the IRSThe IRS’s processing of the direct debit does not happen within a month or two as the client indicated in their complaint As stated in our previous response, once the client informed us that their direct debit did not take place, we established communication with the IRS and reinstated the payment arrangement on their behalf in October Although at a slightly higher amount, we did this as a courtesy even though Optima Tax finalized their case March 28,
