SUMMARY - Optima Tax's management has been in contact with the client and have come to a mutual resolve RESPONSE - Optima Tax’s management has been in communication with the client to address his concerns as outlined in the complaintAlthough the client feels that the initial investigation of his tax matter was not necessary, it’s imperative that we perform this service to ensure we have a clear understanding of the client's liability and in order to formulate the best possible resolution strategy for the clientFurthermore, if the client happened to be facing IRS collection efforts the investigation would reveal this information and give us the ability to work with the IRS in an effort to cease collection activityOnce the Investigation Phase was complete, the client was presented with our findings and our formulated strategy to resolve their tax liability Per his complaint, the client feels that Optima Tax took unnecessary steps to resolve his tax matter however, he agreed to the terms of our approach after all details were thoroughly explained to him and thus, we moved forward accordingly and ultimately resolved his caseAdditionally, we are pleased to announce that we have come to a mutual agreement that will allow us to part ways amicably At Optima Tax we strive to uphold the philosophy that "clients come first" and all of our representatives go through rigorous training to assure we abide by that philosophyWe take all complaints very seriously, and we do our best to turn them around when possibleOptima Tax believes it has addressed the client's concerns appropriately and we consider this matter closedPlease do not hesitate to contact Optima Tax with any questionsThank you

I had a great experience with OptimaI was years behind filing taxes due to a life changing event that took time and money to healMy money went to paying medical billsThe case workers and accountants at Optima were always kind, courteous and helpful in explaining legalitiesI fully trust their guidance and appreciate their competence as your representative with the IRS

As stated in our initial response, Optima Tax does not lie, mislead, provide expectations, nor use scare tactics to obtain business from our potential clientsIt is our job to fully inform the client of his situation and provide the client with the opportunity to make an informed decision about whether to move forward with our servicesAlthough the client may not agree, Optima Tax performed a thorough Investigation as outlined in the Client Services Agreement and presented the client with our formulated strategy to help resolve the caseUnfortunately the client has decided not to move forward with our service but, we are pleased to be parting ways on good termsThe client now has the ability to take the information Optima provided to him and utilize it to his advantage while attempting to resolve his debt

I am currently enrolled in their program for over three months now I have been charged for over $6K and to be paid over timeNot satisfied with their service I have been called by different people from their company and every time somebody calls they don't know what's going on with my case and don't know where my paper works at So, I have to start telling them my case every time If I hadn't call earlier I would not know that my case manager is no longer connected with their company and that I was assigned to a new case manager (who hasn't contacted me either) I have tried to escalate my case to no avail Until now there is no resolution to my case All I have experienced with this company are more stress, frustrationsThe promise on their ad that they are there to help their clients is not true! And guess what, I have been an existing client right?, this morning, one of their representative called me to offer their service, clearly they don't have a clear communication or documentation within their company And they claim that they have a great team that will work on my case, however, isn't good communication a great foundation for a great teamwork? Clearly they have not displayed that

I feel that I have been taken advantage of and I paid for services that I did not receive. I stand firm in my belief that if I were told up front, in the very beginning that I'm only eligible for you to work out a payment plan with the IRS, I would have never agreed to pay you $2,000.00! I am not incompetent and I believe I was intentionally misled and misinformed. In addition, I cannot keep quiet about what happened to me. I am outraged and I feel I need to share my experience on media websites and to my colleagues. Putting me on a payment plan with the IRS is not worth $2,000.00! Your company has been in business long enough to know when a client is eligible for reduced tax debt, a payment plan or C & R! You should be forthcoming with your clients and spell it out for them completely! In addition, I am confident I could have done the same thing (as I had done in the past) and it wouldn't have cost me a dime! I had to make sacrifices to make those payments to you and I don't feel I received the services to justify me paying you two thousand dollars! I wish I could get an itemized breakdown of the services rendered. This is not ok!

to respectfully clarify our position to the Client, however, we understand that
we are not able to keep all of our clients satisfied. As such, although we believe we have properly
fulfilled our obligations to the client, we have decided that it is best to
part ways and have consequently offered a resolution that fully meets Client’s
demand, as an attempt to settle this dispute once and for allWe are pleased

I highly recommend Optima Tax ReliefThey lived up to what was promised in the adsThis can be a nerve wracking process but the case managers assigned to my case were able to take the stress awayI am more than happy with the results from my caseI am also very happy that I did not have to talk to the IRS at allI would recommend Optima Tax Relief to anyone that is facing difficulty with their taxes

I hired Optima to resolve back filing issuesAfter paying them almost 7k I feel they did the absolute minimum! They also did not file all the correct forms with the IRS and I now have a lien against meWhen I started to get letters from the IRS about the lien my calls to Optima never got returnedAfter I contacted the IRS to try to solve the lien I called Optima again to let them know how disgusted I was with themI could only reach a CSR and not anyone that would helpAfter being told numerous times that someone would be back in touch with me and never did, I was told once again I would get a call from someone in their customer satisfaction divisionHAha That was two months ago and I am still dealing with the IRS to get the lien removedSAVE YOUR MONEY!! They have shown me how bad they really are!

Optima Tax Relief was all they say they are Navigating the IRS was daunting alone They took charge and handled everything They were always ready and willing to answer all of my questions
The end result was wonderful Much better than I dared to hope for A payment plan much lower than I expected and something I can actually afford

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I'm attaching emails exchanged between myself and Optima Tax Relief regarding the fact that my Tax Return had not been filed yet. The dates of these emails range from 8/1/thru 1/22/You will see from these emails that I had difficulty with the E-Signature process in signing the IRS Tax Return DocumentThe password Optima was giving me did not work. I finally got it to work one day and completed the process, but did not receive any kind of confirmation. I sent an email on 8/after the last attempt appeared to go through asking if they had received everything they need from me at that point. The same date 8/11/I received an email saying "no I don't believe we need anything else from you at this time'. At that point I felt that everything was fine with my 2014 Tax Return. I found out in December that the return had not been filed yet. The dead line for filing extensions was in October. No on from Optima ever contacted me to say there was anything wrong with my signature. I signed the return manually in December 2015, because that is first time I was aware there had been an issueI'm going to run out of time on here, so I'm just going to attach all the relevant emails. I should be very easy to see that Optima dropped the ball on me and twisting the facts around to try and blame me

Optima Tax has been in contact with
the client prior to
receiving the complaintFollowing our discussion with the client, we are happy
to report that we have addressed all her questions and the client is now satisfied
with the outcome
RESPONSE -
Optima Tax’s management was already in contact with the client
to address her frustration as outlined in the complaintAfter hiring Optima
Tax, it was apparent that unfortunately, the client was having difficulty
paying for our services. Although any nonpayment
warrants a hold or termination of our services, Optima Tax continued to meet
its obligation under the Client Services Agreement, and made multiple attempts
to accommodate client’s financial hardship.
Despite our efforts, the client eventually became unresponsive and did
not return any of our phone calls or emails.
In light of such efforts, we
believe that we have exceeded all expectation assisting the client and we have
adequately explained our side to the client; but ultimately affordability was
an issueAccordingly, we parted ways in an amicable manner and to the client’s
satisfaction.
