I see from reading your email from Optima that this lady stated that she had reached out to me numerous times she is lying as do all people who defraud peopleI heard from this woman only once and I replied to her email saying that I wanted so see in a pdf format all of the documentation that Optima did on my behalf with the IRS to this date 03/17/I have never received any documentation from Optima showing where they did work for me with the IRSThe response this lady gave to you Revdex.com is a load of BS these people all all lying and they have no intentions of forwarding me the documentation I have asked forThese people have never reached out to me for the last months that alone shows they have committed fraudThey even told me that they do income tax returns this is a lie and a joke come to think of itIf these people were honest and did what they say they do then I would not be writing this reply to you Revdex.comAlso have this lady produce the emails and phone calls to me if any to prove she has tried to contact me numerous times!!! I am actually having a moment of disbelief and internal euphoria right now because I just got the call that my case of multiple years in back & unfiled taxes has been brought to a close, Amen!!! I know each persons case is and will be different but anyone having Tax Issues may have the same anxiety, fear, frustration, and naïveté when it comes to all the financial jargon associated with the IRS and taxesI'm telling you the fear and anxiety caused even further procrastination in me to rectify my tax problems I called the office outside the gym before my workout and spoke with an AMAZING worker, Nancy H This was such a strange place to call about taxes but I couldn't ignore the issue any longerWhen I tell you that she put me at ease and gave me honest hardcore TRUTH, I just prayed and thanked God for this godsend The turnaround time to resolve my taxes wasn't a day thing like an H&R Block caseIt took some time (approx 1yr) to get to this point of resolve- this is customary with someone who multiple years- EVERY STEP OF THE WAY things were laid out to meI could ask questions and they would go over EVERY SHEET WITH MEIt was like having a tutor help you with homework With Optima there's no need to be afraid of the unknown, just ask!!! Contrary to the client’s statement, the client had been given an opportunity to review all necessary paperwork in order to present any issues or questions they had before Optima Tax received their paymentThe Client Services Addendum clearly outlines the services Optima Tax will perform during the Resolution PhaseAs stated in our initial response, those services include but are not limited to, IRS Representation, IRS Compliance and negotiating a favorable monthly paymentAt no point did Optima Tax change our method, our strategy, or the services the client would receive after the client paid for services he contractually agreed to The initial conversation between the client and our management revolved around potentially looking into resolutionNo promises were ever made regarding any type of reimbursementTo ensure the client had a full understanding of that conversation, the manager involved followed up with the client in writing which clearly stated that the matter will be looked into Since receiving the complaint an Optima Tax associate has reached out to the client both verbally and via email with no response from the clientTo our knowledge, three messages were left along with an introductory emailOptima Tax will continue their efforts to establish communication with the client and will continue to address their concerns in an attempt to come to a mutual resolve

SUMMARY - Optima Tax's management has been in contact with the client prior to receiving the complaint and we are working towards a mutual resolve RESPONSE - Optima Tax’s management has been in communication with the client to address their concerns as outlined in the complaintAs the client stated, he hired Optima Tax for representation as they had outstanding IRS tax liability balances for various yearsOur approach to each case we assist with has remained the sameThe first phase, Phase one, we investigate the client’s liability, gathering information from both the client and the IRS, and analyze and formulate a strategy to help resolve the case and present it to the client accordingly Once we completed our Investigation the client received a thorough breakdown of our strategy and decided to hire Optima Tax as their representatives to help resolve their caseThereafter, the client's assigned team went to work immediately and finalized his case as outlined in the Client Services Agreement provided to the client While reviewing the complaint, the client stated that he can submit a hardship letter that could reduce the feeWe are assuming the fee he references is our Resolution Retainer to take on his caseAlthough we have an option that we can offer our client’s that find themselves in a position where affordability ultimately is the deciding factor to move forward this is in no way unethicalThis is an option the client can take advantage of if it brings financial relief Additionally, based off our Investigation the client was never on a payment plan with the IRS prior to contacting Optima Tax as they have claimedFurthermore, the client was deep into collections activity with the IRS which required Optima to negotiate a hold on the collection activityAlthough the client did not have a lien in place the IRS at any time can file a lien against a tax payer to protect their common interest in the outstanding balanceConsidering the client’s balance exceeded a certain threshold it is likely for the IRS to issue a lien in these situations Lastly, the client was thoroughly informed of the services Optima Tax will be providingThe Resolution Addendum Agreement was provided to the client before any payment was drafted from their accountThis Agreement thoroughly explains the services to be provided and outlines all details of the client's enrollmentTo ensure that the client had a full understanding of the services Optima Tax was to provide they went through a voice recorded Verification Call that covers all legal disclosuresAfter each disclosure is given the client must respond with a yes answer acknowledging they fully understand the disclosure before they are able to move forwardWhen we disclosed the services Optima Tax will provide, the client promptly answered with a yesThose disclosures also state that a reduction is possible but not guaranteedAgain, the client answered with a yes and continued moving forwardFor the record, Optima Tax submitted the necessary paperwork to the IRS in an effort to reduce any penalties associated with the balance and achieve the best possible outcome for the client At Optima Tax we strive to uphold the philosophy that "clients come first" and all of our representatives go through rigorous training to assure we abide by that philosophyIt’s unfortunate that the client is dissatisfied with our services but we worked their case as agreed uponWe do take all complaints very seriously, and we do our best to turn them around when possibleOptima Tax believes it has addressed the client's concerns appropriately and will continue to reach out to the client until we come to a final resolvePlease do not hesitate to contact Optima Tax with any questionsThank you

We have promptly reviewed the client’s rebuttal to Optima Tax initial response, and we offer the following response and explanation in continuing hopes of coming to a mutual resolve with the client: Our records reflect that since her enrollment into our Resolution Phase, her Case Manager had informed her multiple times to make timely Estimate Tax Payments and if otherwise, we also informed of the possibility that the client would likely be leviedSuch information continued to be ignored by the client unfortunatelyAnd as a result, the client had failed to make her Estimated Tax Payments, which in turn was a direct cause of her levy As such, Optima would like to respectfully point out that her levy was not a result of Optima’s communication, or lack thereof, with the IRS agent, but of her inability to make her Estimated Tax Payments Furthermore, although we could have easily set the client up on a payment plan, that would not have been the best solution for the clientOptima Tax will represent their client’s to the fullest extent within the applicable laws and regulationsIn this particular case, we are confident we could achieve more than a payment planIn fact, Optima Tax had prepared and packaged necessary documents to place the client on a Non-Collectable status while we review for an Offer-in-CompromiseThat Non-Collectable package was mailed to the IRS and the client’s Case Manager called her on December 31, to provide an updateThe client seemed pleased but has now decided to part ways with Optima Tax even though we are on the verge of resolving her case Accordingly, given the work that Optima’s associates performed on her case, we are more than confident that we have earned 100% of the fees paid to dateHowever, we still value providing excellent customer service and we are in communication and working towards a resolution that will hopefully be satisfactory to all parties

My wife and I had several tax issues with the IRS dating back to We tried a different tax relief agency in who did absolutely nothing for us except drain our savings account We heard about Optima, read the reviews and decided to talk to them From day one they actively acted on our behalf and in our best interest It ultimately took approximately months but they got our $70K + tax debt completely eliminated and for the first time in many years relieved a lot of stress and anxiety from our lives Our only regret is not contacting them sooner A lot of tax relief company's promise a great many things and do nothing but Optima does what they say they will If you have tax issues, don't try and deal with the IRS alone Believe me, they will eventually come after you and without professional help you will be overwhelmed If you need help, call Optima We did and we highly recommend their services

SUMMARY - 's management has been in contact with the client and have come to a mutual resolve. RESPONSE - ’s management has been in communication with the client to address his concerns as outlined in the complaint. As the client stated, he initially contacted Optima Tax to address his tax liability. After we concluded our first phase Investigation the client signed up for our second phase Resolution Services thereafter. As we do with all of our clients, we thoroughly analyze and determine what the client may or may not qualify for from a resolution standpoint based on their overall financial standing in correlation to their overall tax liability. When the client first enrolled onto the Resolution Phase, we performed a meticulous Audit Reconsideration analysis to determine if we could have potentially reversed the IRS’s findings as to his liability based on their Audit Examination Report. Client unfortunately was not able to provide any documents or substantiation to alter the outcome. We then began the process of preparing and filing client’s 2013-2014 Amended Tax Returns. Generally, any form of tax preparation and or filing compliance is required prior to negotiating any tangible or long term means of resolution with the IRS. Client had his 2015 Tax Return prepared and filed through his own accord and would have received a refund but this was taken by the IRS and applied to his overall outstanding liability. Although unfortunate that this was the case since client had been anticipating this refund, any and all refunds will be applied to one’s liability if still owed. It is unfortunate that client expressed that communication and or timely follow up was a primary issue for them because we have been diligent in our level of communication throughout this process and we have kept client reasonably informed as to the next steps and or the overall trajectory of his case. Client had also expressed concern as to the time frame involved and is of the notion that no tangible progress has been made on his file. While this process overall can be lengthy, we are at a point or stage in his case where a substantial amount of time and effort has been spent on client's file and that is why we are now at a point to determine if he is a candidate for a Hardship or Reduction program. Is so (based on his financials), we will move forward with a balance reduction submission. If not, we will work with the IRS to establish a feasible alternative on his behalf. After further explaining the situation to client, we are happy to announce that he has expressed a desire to continue with services and come to a mutual resolve on this matter. Both parties have set proper expectations and understand what is expected of them in order to avoid any future issues and ensure that client's file moves along in a timely fashion.
