I want to take a moment to share my experience with Optima Tax Relief
After many years of trying to resolve my case with the IRS by using tax attorneys and spending lots of money doing so, I finally came to a point where I felt I had to try one last timeMy tax liability had grown to around $178,My only source of income was from Social Security and the IRS was taking 40% of that

discuss his claim as stated in the complaintIn order to clarify, Optima’s
services are separated into a two phase approach, Investigation and Resolution
As outlined in our Client Services Agreement, the client engaged Optima to
perform an investigation of his tax liabilityContrary to the client’s
assertion, Optima contacted the IRS and gathered extensive information which we
use to develop our proposed Resolution ServicesMoreover, to satisfy the
client’s concerns, Optima has provided the client with the name and employee ID
number of the agent that it spoke with during the Investigation
After the
conclusion of our investigation, it appears that both the client and Optima had
difficulties with timely communication in order to go over the resultsDue to
the long gap in communication, it is our protocol, that we conduct another
investigation to assure we have the most up to date information related to the client’s
tax liabilityAfter explaining our protocols and also providing the client
with some options we are confident that a mutually satisfying agreement will be
metThe client is currently weighing his options and will inform Optima Tax once he makes his final decision on the
route he’d like to go with his case

phases, an Investigation Phase and the Resolution PhaseOptima Tax conducted a
thorough investigation on the client’s case and concluded that the client may
qualify for multiple resolutions, which Optima Tax did pursue resolutions that
were presented to herUnfortunately, and as the client indicated in her posting,
during the course of her Resolution Phase it was determined that the client’s
income was too high to negotiate a reductionHowever, Optima Tax was in the
process and using its efforts to set the client up on an affordable payment
planAs a good faith gesture and without admitting any wrong doing, Optima Tax
provided the client with a partial refund of her fees

I was in real trouble, which I have only myself to blameI hadn't filed taxes in about yearsI heard about Optima Tax Relief, so I gave them a callOne can't imagine the relief I felt from that first callYeah I had to pay a good sum, but what that got me was unbelievable! diligently working on the client’s casePrior to the client being levied by
the IRS, Optima Tax had been
consistently requesting the client to provide us with pertinent information
that was critical to his caseAlthough the client did provide us with some of
the requested information, the remainder was either not provided or was
incompleteAs a result, the documents that the client did provide Optima Tax could not be sent to the IRS agent for
review as it was not a complete financial packetUltimately, the IRS levied
the clients because the client was not timely in providing Optima with the
correct information and due to the extent of the client’s tax liability

statements Optima Tax made in our initial reply still remain trueAs was
stated, we have documented evidence that the tax years 2010, 2011, and
were included in the Installment AgreementPer the IRS agent, of which
the client has a name and employment identification number, the client did not
show a balance for the tax year and was issued a PIN number for the year
to protect her from identity theft
When the
client initially brought this matter to our attention, we asked that she send
in the documents to show that the IRS has indeed initiated enforcement action
Our associate also presented the client with the option of conducting a
Compliance call to ensure that the agreement we negotiated, per the IRS letter
dated July 28, 2015, was still in placeThe client subsequently refused to
perform all actions
Unfortunately,
the client will not allow us to validate her claim and is unwilling to comply
with our requests to assist her in this matter and rectify any potential
discrepanciesOptima Tax was more
than willing to look into the matter at no additional cost to the clientThis
situation can be easily resolved if the client will accept our assistance in
the matterOptima Tax is more than willing to continue engaging in
conversation with the client and hope that the parties can soon reach a mutual

stated in his complaint, he hired Optima Tax Relief to represent him before the IRS, due to an outstanding tax liabilityAt the conclusion of our initial phase, the Investigation Phase, the client was presented with our findings and a formulated strategy to help resolve his case in the second phase, the Resolution Phase After presenting the client with the services that Optima Tax Relief could offer, the client signed up for Resolution representationHowever, at no point did Optima Tax Relief promise or guarantee that the client would receive a reduction of his tax liabilityThe services the client engaged Optima Tax Relief to perform included IRS Representation, IRS Compliance and setting up an affordable Installment AgreementAfter a thorough review, Optima Tax had been performing its services as outlined in the Resolution Servicing Addendum, and set the client up on an affordable payment plan that will protect the client from any enforcement action the IRS may initiate to satisfy the debt Prior to commencing the Resolution services, the client went through a voice recorded Verification CallDuring this call, the client is provided a set of legal and contractual disclosures, and each disclosure requires the client’s affirmative confirmation that they understand before moving forward with the callOne of the disclosures covers, in detail, the services the client contractually agreed toAfter reviewing the voice recorded Verification call, all disclosures were presented to the client and the client provided a “yes” answer to all legal disclosuresThe client also provided a level rating as to their level of understanding of the disclosures, with being the highest rating a client can give Although the client may have been on an Installment Agreement prior to hiring Optima Tax for representation, that agreement ultimately would have gone into default status due to the new balance for Therefore, by establishing an Installment Agreement for the client, Optima Tax Relief completed the services that the client engaged Optima Tax to performOptima Tax is extremely transparent with the services that will be provided to our clients and at no point was the client promised a reduction of his tax liabilityWe are confident in saying that the assigned team worked the case as outlined in the agreement and with the utmost integrity At Optima Tax we strive to uphold the philosophy that "clients come first" and all of our representatives go through rigorous training to assure we abide by that philosophyWe take all complaints very seriously, and we do our best to turn them around when possibleOptima Tax believes it has addressed the client's concerns appropriately and considers the matter closedPlease do not hesitate to contact Optima Tax with any questionsThank you
