Very good company l am happy with my out come thanks otr

STAY AWAY FROM OPTIMA!!! They are the biggest con artist I have ever had to deal withI gave them all of my financials in the beginning and they said that we fit the programTHEY NEED TO BE TAKEN DOWN!!! I paid them about $to help me with my tax situationThey said we make to much money for a resolutionAppartently they said they set up a lower payment and we were supposed to be paying since MarchIt is now November so I know I am going to have problems with them nowI gave them my financials in the beginning they should have told me then that they couldn't help meITS A BUNCH OF CRAP!!! I totally put my trust in them and they totally screwed meNow I owe my life to the IRS and I'm down $which I had trouble paying themI could just cry because money is so tight for me and my family

importantly, we were able to educate the client on various actions he can take

We called Optima Tax to get help for a subcontractor of ours that had not filed a tax return for years He had tried to settle with IRS before but the process of just catching up on the returns was overwhelming and he just gave up Optima Tax had a process that helped us step by step to provide the correct supporting documents, then they created and filed the missing tax returns so we could figure out exactly what was owed, and then negotiated an offer in compromise that was well within the ability of our subcontractor to pay The entire process took about a year but considering that Optima Tax settled years of tax debt (including their fee) for 16% of what was originally due, it was well worth the time invested!

Complaint resolved!Thank youI believe Optima Tax Relief resolved the issue timely, because of my initial complaint filed with the Revdex.comA letter of cancellation was e-mailed and the debit of $was credited back to my account 4-7-

I filed a review with Revdex.com and now Optima keeps calling me and emailing me even after I ended up paying my FULL back taxes and penaltiesOptima will harass you and dupe you into talking with them by saying are you requesting a refund? I never asked for a refund, although I should as they did nothing for meTo get them off my back I finally answered the call and they asked why I was unhappy with OptimaAs soon as I was telling the person she said I could not say that??? You asked and I told you why I was unhappyShe kept cutting me off stating the companies procedures and policies, she believed her people over me so why even bother asking me? The bottomline is this company is a very shady business, it seems they will choose who they can help but if you are a difficult case as mine you get nothing but dragged out and paying for their services for nothingPlease if you need tax help see a bonifide tax lawyer and check that persons ratingI was in dire need of help and therefore hired Optima blindly and it was a costly lesson

The counselors at Optima Tax are very professional, knowledgeable and very helpfulFrom the beginning they are very understanding of the situation you may be in, they never make you feel like you did something wrongI would highly recommend Optima Tax to my family and friends

deeply regrettable that there was a misunderstanding about the scope of our
servicesAs we stated in our previous response however, our records - both
voice recorded calls as well as a Resolution Addendum (contract) - clearly
state that the client had hired Optima for IRS representation onlyFurthermore,
when the client voiced her concerns in June of 2014, we had repeatedly
explained the scope of our services, however, out of courtesy, we had informed the
client that we will only provide limited guidance on her state tax issuesAn
email was also sent confirming what was discussed during that conversation

relaying this information to the client, she believes that there may have been
a misunderstanding on her part regarding the actions Optima would take on her
behalfIn light of such mutual understanding, we are asking the client to sign
the necessary paperwork, and send in the required documents to submit for a resolution
In an effort to ensure clear understanding of the terms just explained, we are
waiting for the client to execute an agreement with us as well. Once we receive all the documents, including
the agreement with Optima, we will package and mail the documents to the state
on her behalfOnce the documents are mailed out, any and all service that has

Optima Tax Relief did a great job handling my tax issue with the I.R.SI would surely refer anyone having a tax problem to this company

the client both verbally and electronically via emailUnfortunately, the
client has yet to respondBased on our review of the client’s records, communication
with the client has been an ongoing issue on this matterPrior to receiving
the complaint, the client’s assigned Case Manager had made multiple attempts to
reach her via phone and email to obtain financial documents, however, no
response were given by the clientSuch issue has been thoroughly documented
and could be provided upon requestUnderstandably so, the issue has severely limited
our ability to provide our services
The
client contends that she had requested a new Case Manager twice but we
respectfully disagree as there is no evidence of this request yet. On the contrary, after months of not
receiving a response from the client, we received an email to her Case Manager
claiming that she had previously made the request to have a new representative
assigned to her caseImmediately after receiving that email, the assigned Case
Manager’s supervisor attempted to contact the client address any concernsA
message was left and an email was sent requesting a call back to discuss her
file, however, there was yet again no response from the clientBased on client’s
inability to respond to any of our emails and or phone messages, a day
suspension email was sent to the client per Optima Tax’s policyOur Client
Services Agreement (“Agreement”) clearly states that any and all requested
documents must be sent in within business days of the requestAlso per the
Agreement, Optima Tax has authorization to terminate the agreement if the
client is found in breach of contractWe believe we have given the client
multiple opportunities to provide us with the requested documents, yet with no
successDespite our best efforts and against our hopes of resolving this
matter amicably, it appears the client is unwilling to return any of our
messages and we have no choice but to consider this matter closed

client, he felt that the overall process to resolve his case was taking too
longTo justify his belief, the client compared our services with a scenario
that a friend of his had that occurred roughly years agoThe client was
under the impression that his case would be resolved rather quickly when in all
actuality, and depending on the client’s circumstances, a case can take an
average of 6-months to resolveThe client had been enrolled in our
Resolution Phase for only months before filing the complaintWith a case as
complex as the client’s, months is not enough time to resolve his outstanding
liability
Some of
the issues we experienced while servicing the client’s file were obtaining the
appropriate financial documents to submit to the IRSAlthough the client did
provide Optima Tax with the
appropriate documents, the client had his secretary send them in which caused additional
delayThroughout our relationship with the client, per his request, most of
our communication had to be done through the client’s secretaryWe believe that
this contributed to the communication issues the client mentioned in his
complaintMoreover, our tax professionals had to coach the client’s secretary
on the various documents that she needed to gather and send to us so that we could
submit them to the IRSUltimately, this contributed to a delay in the process
which was beyond our controlHowever, once we obtained all the requested
documents, Optima Tax packaged them
and sent them into the IRS via USPS Priority MailWe provided the tracking
information to the client for his review and to help relieve his stresses
during this difficult time
After
educating the client on the overall process and the steps we have to take to
resolve his case, he feels that he may have jumped the gun on filing the
complaintAlthough the client is satisfied with the outcome he decided to work
with the IRS directlyWe did inform the client that we can provide any and all
information necessary to help resolve his case
