We received the rejected response submitted by Mr*** ***Upon further review of the account, Mr*** disconnected the call on 11/27/prior to speaking to a specialist that would have provided him with the cancellation proceduresWe returned Mr*** call on 11/29/but were unsuccessful in reaching him; Mr*** returned our call that same day and was given the correct cancellation proceduresIn the call that occurred on 11/29/2017, we verified his email address and sent out the link that Mr*** needed to sign in order to process the cancellationBecause the cancellation link was not signed on 11/29/2017, our system sent Mr*** several reminder emails to sign but to no availWith that in mind, Mr*** account remained active since the cancellation email was never signedThe remaining balance is valid and was for services we provided to Mr*** prior to his account’s cancellation date 3/31/If there are additional questions, please contact us at ***-***-*** Sincerely, Customer Protection

I am rejecting this response because:
When I first started with this company I agreed to monthly billing by bills only. I have years of bills that were mailed every month. This company is lying and does not care for there customers with there very rude and threating behavioralThis company trys to set you up with questions and allows employees to give out personal addresses for copies of my private copies which I suspect for fraud. I guess it's time I shop for a real company that does value customers. I have every legal right for a copy of my bill. They have refused. There employee even told me I no longer owe anything. So there debit collection is illegal

I would encourage Protect America to review their customer service in regards to issues not related to start up services, as those calls are answered quickly. Satisfactory customer service should not have wait times of over an hour. This happened on multiple occasions, the day of the week and times made no difference as suggested by an employee. I would also suggest that they include the statement of their "day cancellation in writing" be posted on their web site under terms and conditions as it is not listed thereWe have tried to call numerous times regarding equipment that does not work and because of this should not be billed for August

I am rejecting this response because:Attached is the bills mailed to me that this company says they never mailed to me. Clearly they are lying. I have a history of getting bills and then mailing a check. I have more copies of bills mailed but I did not want to delay this reply any longer. Again, mail me the bill and I will pay the bill if I owe it. I have every legal right to a copy of the bill but they are refusing to mail me a copy of they bill(s). I dispute these amounts owed under federal debt collection laws and hereby require proof by mail.

I am rejecting this response because:1) Protect America ignored my clear request to terminate monitoring in February in their response. 2) I accepted their response to replace the NON-WORKING equipment because I was hopeful at that time that it would be possible to become a customer of theirs once again in the future, without further payments. I discussed termination of service with them in July as well, and there was no mention at that time of any requirement for further payments, even though they had not been providing monitoring service since February.3) Given their attitude that I needed to continue paying for services that I was not getting, I will not use their services again. I think their charge of $for September, after three requests to terminate service, are unethical and inappropriate. They were unwilling to make any effort to resolve this dispute during my phone calls with them in any reasonable manner.My request for a refund of the September charges remains my request for a reasonable resolution to this dispute
