Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: They have not offered any solutions, I have called in for months trying to resolve my issues I was forced to work with another company, ADT, as they were able to offer me the services I requested I spome on the phone with another lying individual earlier in the week from protect America The rep again stated that the services I requested are not available thru proect america Because of protect america' s failure to resolve my issues I had to sign up with a different company Protect America Claims They Are Helping Me, But All They Are doing Is trying To Get Me Too find someone else To take Over My contracts Protect America needs Too waive My cancellation Fees Now! This Is Absolutely Absurd How Much Time And Money If Mine They Are wasting They AreNot trying To Help Me one Bit! Protect America has received the complaint submitted by Mr [redacted] ***We appreciate the opportunity to address his concernsEnclosed is a copy of the Monitoring Agreement for his reviewAs per Protect America's Monitoring Agreement terms and conditions, we require that the Customer agrees to maintain an automatic bank debit payment or credit card payment arrangement with PAI for the entire term of the Agreement, including renewalsMr [redacted] was advised of these terms and conditions when he initially set up the accounts on August 04, and April 01, respectivelyWe recently reached out to Mr [redacted] regarding past due balances on the accountsHe was advised that he would need to have the accounts current and establish a consistent payment history in order to have his request for Direct bill consideredMr [redacted] has been a valued customer since We request that he contacts Customer Service at phone number: 1(***) ***- [redacted] to receive assistance in resolving his billing issues

We have received the rejected response filed by Ms [redacted] and found that we experienced a massive cellular outage that impacted not only Protect America customers but many other businesses and customers as wellWe’ve also applied free month to Ms [redacted] for the inconvenienceAt this time we are obligated to assure that Ms [redacted] ’s system is functioning properlyWe ask that she contact Protect America at her earliest convenience to install and test her new equipment

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: None of this should have ever happenedThere is a constant give and take in communications with ProtectAmerica: I get Visa Fraud on the phone and they agree to refund, but la [redacted] they don't refund the amount as agreed, and start calling me explaining why they don't have to refund the moneyThey continue to distort and misrepresent the facts of the case Here are the facts:The fax to discontinue service was sent in AugustThe September billing should have been the last amount billedSince they 'discovered' this February bill, the amount billed in October should have been used to cover the February billNo bill should have been submitted for NovemberNo services were requested in November or expected or usedProtectAmerica agreed with me and the Visa Fraud unit that the November charge should be refundedProtectAmerica has not refunded the November charge as agreedDon't do business with this company unless you are ready for a 'Til death do us part relationshipYou'll need a good divorce lawyer if you ever try to leave them!This is all happening because their system is set up to make it as difficult as possible to cancel so they can ride the gravy train as long as they canAnd all they have to do to get another few months of fees is lie lie lie(Oh we never got this Oh we never said that ) Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: despite the fact that PAI could not continue to defend its proven failure to provide adequate service, it has the audacity to repeat its unreasonable expectationA breach of contract is a failure to do what one has agreed to do in a contract The terms of the contract indicates that “PAI warrants to Customer that “Equipment” provided by PAI is suitable for originating signals to the Monitoring Facility and will be free of defects in materials and workmanship.” The “Equipment” includes any supplemental products, and they are part of the service as described in the contract The sensor and the motion detector are among the essential parts of the alarm system So is the timing of the delivery of the replacement They are material elements of the contract Therefore, failure to replace the essential part in a timely manner alone defeated the performance of the alarm system and the very purpose of making the contract This is clear representation of a breach of contractPAI’s statement: “At this time we are unable to reach an amicable resolution,” suggests legal action The possibilities of the mishaps caused by employees and parts are mentioned in the contract but only for the purpose of PAI’s protection Whether its one-sided contract will be challenged in the court remains to be seen When signing a contract, both parties to the deal must be given something of value in order for the contract to be enforceable I have always fulfilled my obligations To my detriment, I had to deal with the non-functioning system, the break-in, the runaround, and the blatant denials My loss and damages are irretrievable and significant What value did PAI give me? To avoid the appearance of a predatory business practice, PAI can immediately refund or rescind the contract in writing so neither party owes any obligation to the otherRegards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I do not have any records of the attached contract prior to what was e-mailed by Protect America's sales representative on June 12, In addition, I asked the same sales representative to provide a copy of the voice agreement he stated I may have entered and did not receive that.Finally, I have sent and Protect America has accepted a final payment in the form of a cashier's check that was noted "Balance Paid in Full," with a letter enclosed requesting they contact me directly to discuss why I would still be required to pay monthly fees for a service I was no longer using The organization did not respond, but instead continued to send notifications to my previous address even though I notified them of the address change and called me continuously for weeks after I would appreciate Protect America's honoring my request to cease trying to collect additional payments from me As stated in all communication to them for the past eight months, I am no longer using the service Regards, [redacted]
