Protect America, Inchas received the complaint filed by Ms***In reviewing her alarm event history with the Central Monitoring Station it appears that the alarm was tripped & disarmed simultaneouslyCancel/Abort signal came in first, but during same second alarm signals started coming throughCMS records also show that someone in the home was able to enter a valid disarm codeWe suggest Ms [redacted] allow us to set a delay in alarm signal transmittal

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to address Mr [redacted] concernsOur records show that Mrand Mrs [redacted] signed their agreement with us on 8/4/through one of our partnersPrior to mailing the security system to Mrand Mrs***, our account executive that handles the outside sales partners, contacted Mr [redacted] and explained that he was calling from Protect America, his security companyMr [redacted] acknowledged the introduction and our account executive explained he needed to go over the important items for security reasonsHe proceeded to verify the account information and made the necessary corrections with Mr [redacted] then explained the monthly monitoring is $54.99, and that’s billed separately by Protect AmericaThe account executive also stated he wanted to be sure that was explained to their satisfaction by the outside sales memberMr [redacted] stated he was told about the Direct TV bundle from the salesmanOur account executive explained that Protect America is not bundled that it is billed separately because we are a separate companyWe also explained that they give a bundle [redacted] but we bill separatelyMr [redacted] stated let's go ahead and proceedOn 8/8/17, Mr [redacted] called and stated he has our security system and he would like assistance installing the systemWe assisted him step by step installing the security system and everything functioned properlyOur records show that Mr [redacted] acknowledged that he understood we are a separate entity from Direct TVAt this time we ask that Mr [redacted] contact our office at (***) ***- [redacted] in an effort to reach a resolution with him Regards, Customer Protection

Protect America, Inchas received the feedback submitted by Ms [redacted] It is outlined in the signed agreement that Protect America, Incmust receive written notice of cancellation from the customer thirty (30) days prior to the end of any subsequent renewal term in order to cancel service Because there was no such notice received, the agreement was not cancelledAttached is a copy of the signed agreement

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I called the company and canceled my account after my year contract expired They told me I needed to sign contact and pay an extra days which I did but they never mailed my a contract to sign after calling times for months in a row It is documented in their system that I called and requested a contract to sign but was never mailed out The customer service verified it is documented in their system but they will not mail me a contract to sign to cancel so they keep billing me month after month Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: 1) the contract attached first is incorrectSee the correct contract2) the I did want to send the cancellation but Protect america stated that the cancellation notice can not be recieved prior to the end of the contractbut the contract only states that I need to provide a day notice to cancel the contract.3) the offer given was that I extend my contract by additional months...which is a promotion that protect america is providing to people currently...not put my current contract on hold for monthsI am not trying to buy another contract from protect america I am trying to complete the contract I have and have the opportunity to use the service during that timeIf I choose to extend after the end of my current contract then I would but my request for the holding my account for a few months should not come with the automatic requirement that I have to stay with protect america for additional two yearDo a good job giving me reliable service that I use then I will continue to be a customer but I refuse to be a hostage Regards, [redacted]
