Once again, we need a proof of purchase showing the unit was purchased within a year in order to receive warranty assistance Based on the serial number the unit is years old and cannot be repaired or replaced at no charge At this time we can assist the customer by offering a discount on a new camera of his choice, pending availability I can be reached at the contact information below This is our final position on this matter

I am rejecting this response because: I do not accept this response from PanasonicIt is a stamped and pre-cut answerThis unit was never used as indicated in my letter to Panasonic and did not work at all when taken out of the box wheather it was a day later or ten years laterThat is why I wrote my complaint to themI am a year old retiree and am sorry I bought a Panasonic itemJust because one may buy a can opener in a box- we may not open it until we need it as is this caseI am asking for an ounce of customer service from Panasonic not the moonBest Buy seemed to think they would replace it if they would just look at it which is why we spent the money to return it

Regretfully we cannot sell parts to end users, only authorized Panasonic service centers Also, we cannot offer a refund or replacement as the warranty on this model is one-year from date of purchase and the customer has not purchased an extended warranty on the product However, as a one-time goodwill gesture, we can offer you a refund of 25% off the purchase price (before tax) of 50" LED television model TC-50AS530U The MSRP on this model is $so the refund amount to you would be $ The unit would have to be purchased from our website at www.panasonic.com and the invoice emailed to me at [redacted] We can keep this offer open until October 31, pending availability Thank you for allowing us to respond to your service needs

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: First of all, Panasonic has offered to cover the cost of the replacement part because they know too well this SC board has issuesTo confirm, simply Google the key words “blinking lights of death” and the numerous complaints from unsatisfied customers just like me will come upI took Panasonic’s offer in good faith and in order to rapdly resolve the situation, under the belief that this would occur immediately upon giving the repair shop the authorization to proceed with the service orderHowever, it took seven weeks for the replacement part to arrive and, for my despair and disbelief, the replacement part was defective as wellThe repair shop had to reorder the part and presently it has no ETAConclusion: I have no TV for over three (3) months now, the replacement part is in back order and the only response I could get from Panasonic for an ETA is that they will ship the part as soon as it becomes available.Honestly and truthfully, isn’t this enough of an ordeal? The information about the HDMI cable being included with our Home Theater system on our website was in error as the unit does not come with the cableHowever as a gesture of consumer goodwill, the customer can purchase a HDMI cable and sent the receipt to my email address below and we will refund her for the cost of the purchase of the cable

The training course this student signed up for is a guaranteed courseAs our contract states we shall guarantee the student to pass their CDL road test, however we are just a training school and are not the organization that administers the testThe Motor Vehicle Commission of New Jersey is who gives the tests, and they determine whether someone passes or failsDue to the fact that we have no control over who passes the test our guarantee states that if a student were to fail we would provide extra training at no charge and truck rental for the road test at MVC until the student passes his road testThat is what the contract states, and that is what the student agreed too So that is what we will do

I am rejecting this response because: Regardless of contractual terms of the warrantee, the manufacturer knowingly continued to produce and sell a defective product If there were class action suit, they would probably lose Nevertheless, they have no legal obligation to refund or exchange and I will have to accept that I do not have to accept their response or purchase any of their products in the future

I spoke with MsReed today and since the unit is most likely uneconomical to repair out of warranty, we offered her a $refund off new LED model TC- [redacted] which is currently on sale for $on our website www.panasonic.com Original price is $ Subject to availability MsReed said she will consider the offer and call me back

This client came to our school for hours of training and a CDL road test in Staten Island NY, he received all of his training according to our schools agreementIt takes about hours of training to learn how to drive a Tractor trailer, this client took hours of training anddrove the tractor trailer to the road test site, while traveling to the test site he almost had accidents, came with in one inch of smashing the truck on the bridge tool booth, where I have to pull the emergency brakes so I the instructor would not die in that accident.His contract is complete and he will not get any refund .?

We no longer manufacture Plasma Televisions, thus why the customer is receiving a refund. The customer was advised of this by our service representative. The trucking company that is to pick up the customer's unit has made several attempts to contact the customer to schedule a pick up and the... customer has not responded. A pick up request was sent to Pilot (the carrier) on 12/17 advising them of the location of the TV. The customer was sent an e-mail as well on 01/05 that Pilot had been unable to reach him and provided the phone number for him to contact Pilot to schedule the pick- up. Our service representative then e-mailed Pilot on 01/12 for an update and was advised that the local terminal reached out to customer on 12/28 but had not heard from customer. Pilot is stating that they have left messages at phone number [redacted] , but still have not heard from the customer. The customer has the number to contact the carrrier as well to schedule the pick up of the unit. We cannot process a refund until we receive the unit in question.

Sorry that the wrong contact number was called for the customer, however the e-mail address for the customer is correct The customer has all the needed information to contact the carrier to get the unit picked up so a refund can be issued We again today requested that our carrier contact the customer to schedule the pick-up
