Working with customerChecking to see how we can assist himUfortunately, the TV's falls out of warranty due to the terms in which customer purchased TV"used - like new" Open boxSCR

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this
resolution is satisfactory to me
However, the practice of requiring a receipt to get products covered under warranty without stating it in an obvious location makes it difficult on a consumer since the only time you typically read a warranty, other than noting the warranty period, would be when you have a problem

Regards,
*** *** Dear Revdex.com Representative I am writing in regards to the subject claim which was unilaterally closed by Revdex.com alleging lack of response from my partI was traveling on business and just now had a chance to review the status of the caseI respectifully disagree with the disposition which will only benefit the large corporation that is PanasonicAnd by acting this way, the Revdex.com is not helping on keeping them honestAfter all, there is definitely a chronic problem with the TV model in questionTo validate this, visit the numerous forums on the internet and consider the fact that when I went to pimy set from the repair shop, there were other sets awaiting the same part I had to patiently await months for Panasonic to react (which they only did after we filed a complaint with the Revdex.com). Conclusion: we remain disappointed and believe it would be only fair for Panasonic to accept full responsibility for the case as I ended up having to pay for the labor plus go through all the inconvenience this has caused me and my family. Regards***

Mr*** spoke to our customer service representative at McAllen centerHe was offered a new SC-BTT465, which he acceptedSCR case closed

Thank you for contacting Panasonic. The warranty on our digital cameras is one-year parts and labor from date of purchase. The bill of sale is required when requesting warranty assistance. Model DMC-Fcamera is a model and therefore out of warranty.
At this time, we
can offer to sell you a new digital camera at a discounted price or the customer can ship the camera for replacement with a refurbished working camera of the same or similar model at their expense

I am rejecting this response because:
It is brand new camera gifted last Christmas and it is still in warranty, and as you can see the camera is still in brand new condition with brand new box just not workingIf it is a few years old, how the box and everything is brand newDenying warranty based on the year of manufacture is unfair, Walmart still sells a lot of things manufactured a few years back

We are currently researching this complaint. Once completed we will respond

This client came to our school for 4 hours of training and a CDL road test in Staten Island NY, he received all of his training according to our schools agreement. It takes about 40 hours of training to learn how to drive a Tractor trailer, this client took 4 hours of training anddrove the tractor...

trailer to the road test site, while traveling to the test site he almost had 2 accidents, came with in one inch of smashing the truck on the bridge tool booth, where I have to pull the emergency brakes so I the instructor would not die in that accident. His contract is complete and he will not get any refund .?

The training course this student signed up for is a guaranteed course. As our contract states we shall guarantee the student to pass their CDL road test, however we are just a training school and are not the organization that administers the test. The Motor Vehicle Commission of New Jersey is who...

gives the tests, and they determine whether someone passes or fails. Due to the fact that we have no control over who passes the test our guarantee states that if a student were to fail we would provide extra training at no charge and truck rental for the road test at MVC until the student passes his road test. That is what the contract states, and that is what the student agreed too.  So that is what we will do.

The customer sent an email inquiring about the status of his order on 1/14. The customer was replied to on 1/16 with the tracking number and telephone number to contact [redacted] Freight for further assistance. The customer emailed back that evening stating that he received an email from[redacted] indicating...

the TV was never shipped to the final station which would have been Raleigh, NC. Customer was advised on 1/19 that a Lost shipment claim will be filed, and to please allow 7-10 business days for disposition.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and while the request for a full refund was not met, the business has offered an alternative option which we have accepted.  We have had to sign a general release agreement, which was not in the initial response from the business.

I am rejecting this response because it is dishonest and disingenuous response.  Everyone understands that Winsor is a training school and does not administer the test. This is stating the obvious. The real issue is that they guarantee passing or your money back. However they are unwilling to give the additional training that is needed to pass the test. They now say they will give 3 hours of training the day before the next test but this is insufficient to pass the test. There is nothing in the contract that allows them to limit additional instruction to 3 hours the day before the test. Moreover although they have the ability to arrange a more prompt retest they deliberately are not doing so. It seems their tactic is to make one wait in the hope that one will go away. For example in my case the retest date is March 29, 2016 although the first test date was on November 20, 2015. Ask them where the contract states that additional training is limited to 3 hours the day before the new road test date. If I did not pass the first test after 100 hours of instruction how will I pass the second test after 3 hours of instruction, not even taking into account the loss of knowledge between November and March. Lastly it should be noted that I told Mr. M[redacted] that I was not ready to take the test in November but he insisted that I take the test although I felt I was not ready.

We investigated the customer's claim and have been advised that the ribbon cables which are dedicated to this specific model have been removed. Therefore, it is apparent that the unit had been serviced prior to our being called in for repair. As such, the television has been compromised which breaches the manufacturer's warranty. Thank you,[redacted]Consumer Affairs Dept.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
First of all, Panasonic has offered to cover the cost of the replacement part because they know too well this SC board has issues. To confirm, simply Google the key words “7 blinking lights of death” and the numerous complaints from unsatisfied customers just like me will come up. I took Panasonic’s offer in good faith and in order to rapdly resolve the situation, under the belief that this would occur immediately upon giving the repair shop the authorization to proceed with the service order. However, it took seven weeks for the replacement part to arrive and, for my despair and disbelief, the replacement part was defective as well. The repair shop had to reorder the part and presently it has no ETA. Conclusion: I have no TV for over three (3) months now, the replacement part is in back order and the only response I could get from Panasonic for an ETA is that they will ship the part as soon as it becomes available.Honestly and truthfully, isn’t this enough of an ordeal?
