We have reviewed your account and documentation provided Paramount Acceptance apologizes for the misunderstanding on the buyout cancellation It seems that some of it was done at the club level and some of the cancellation was done with Paramount We have cancelled out your account and refunded the 8/and 7/payment Thank you

Thank you for reaching out to us about your accountAfter doing extensive research we were able to locate your email sent to us on July 19th, To cancel it is a day notice which would be the August payment and $cancel fee per your agreement Due to our error we will refund September's payment, waive the $cancel fee, and cancel the account with nothing further owedThank you

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: My contract agreement says day 'advance' notice and all payments must be 'current'My account is current with a balance of zero per my online account (see attached)I only owed for the months of (Dec, Jan & Feb) and my monthly membership dues were $I paid the total balance amount of $(which obviously include some other charges) and left my balance at $My account still shows zero balance as of 3/6/I am giving advance notice to cancel my membership and it seem like my account is being held hostage until I pay something that is not due yetI do not want the termination of my contract to be delayed any further for a payment that is not dueI also would like a breakdown of the additional charges Sincerely, [redacted] ***

The first contact we had from you in regards to a cancellation was the middle of November It was mentioned letter were sent to the previous finance company and not to Paramount We will be happy to backdate the cancel if proof is shown those letters were sent to previous billing company back in September The proof can be sent to us through email or attached to this complaint If there is no proof, the cancellation department is willing to compromise will waive the fee's on the account and settle to cancel for $(September payment).Thank you

After further review of the account It appears there was a miscommunication between club and Paramount Acceptance about the cancel notice We apologize for the miscommunication that happened The account has been cancelled and your contact information has been removed from the account.Thank you

The gym is absolutely closed as September 19, Paramount will not attempt to pick up the phone and called this locationOr even call other Rivera Fitness centerI spoke to Jay 901-327-2727,( Rivera Fitness at a different locationHe confirmed that the it has closedThe other location are more than miles from my homeCancel my membership I'm going to go back the location and take a picture of the sign on the door and send it to you This company should be ashamed of their behaviorComplaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sincerely, [redacted]

Thank you for reaching out to us After reviewing your account I apologize that we did not handle your account correctly When you called on 7/the cancel information should have been given to you Any cancellation we need a day written notice and a $cancel fee Because that information wasn't given to you back in July we are going to backdate the notice to 7/ At this time we are willing to waive the day payment due to our error We will need the 7/payment of $and the $cancel fee in order to complete the cancel Robert one of our Customer Service Supervisors will call you to answer any questions.Thank you,Julie

Do you have proof of your cancel with the club? What was the official site you cancelled on? Paramount Acceptance handles the cancels for Fitness Advantage, we do not have a website to cancel on We can take your proof of cancel at the club and verify it with the club and possibly back date the cancel with Fitness Advantage's permission If you do not have proof we can take this complaint as a cancel notice However the past due amount will have to be paid to cancel the account Please let me know if you have any questions.Thank you

Again, we are sorry there still seems to be some confusion There was no call or record of a call that a refund was promised on for that amount Paramount Customer service reps have no authority to issue refunds There was no supervisor who requested a refund or was even notified of any refund of that amount on your account Again, I apologize for the confusion that has taken place Your account is cancelled and there will be no refund issued.Thank you
