I reviewed your complaint and account. Attached is a copy of the email sent to us to cancel the guest pass back in August.  The August payment was past due, and the September would have been owed due to the 30 day notice.  The September payment is the one that we have been contacting you about.  Attached is the transaction history showing that the August payment was paid, but the September payment kept returning.   In your complaint you mentioned you cancelled at gym prior to August.  Unfortunately we have no record of that cancellation taking place, and had to go off the email sent to us.   However, in the spirit of compromise we will waive the September payment and cancel out the account.  Please feel free to contact me with any further questions.Thank you,Julie

Thank you for reaching out to us.  After reviewing your account I apologize that we did not handle your account correctly.  When you called on 7/14 the cancel information should have been given to you.  Any cancellation we need a 30 day written notice and a $25 cancel fee....

 Because that information wasn't given to you back in July we are going to backdate the notice to 7/14.  At this time we are willing to waive the 30 day payment due to our error.  We will need the 7/7 payment of $20.00 and the $25.00 cancel fee in order to complete the cancel.  Robert one of our Customer Service Supervisors will call you to answer any questions.Thank you,Julie

I am rejecting this response because:I asked them to update their policy on EXPIRATION Dates and inform their clients that they are changing their expiration dates on their credit cards and also, inform them that if they have to reprocess their credit card that has expired that after they personally take it upon themselves to change the expiration date to get the charge to go through that they will charge a re-processing fee. I want it in writing so that everyone that has an account with them is aware of their fraudulent activites, and or change the policy. Pretty simple. This was not about the [redacted]FEE[redacted] This is about customer protection and security. If Paramount Acceptance has questions they can contact the FTC, and brush up on policies and procedures that are in place for consumers.

We have reviewed your account and documentation provided.  Paramount Acceptance apologizes for the misunderstanding on the buyout cancellation.  It seems that some of it was done at the club level and some of the cancellation was done with Paramount.  We have cancelled out your...

account and refunded the 8/8 and 7/7 payment.   Thank you

Paramount Acceptance is the billing company for [redacted].  As such your agreement is valid between [redacted] and yourself.  If the concern is about the agreement and how everything was handled please take this complaint up with [redacted].  We are unable to assist you in your claims.

The first contact we had from you in regards to a cancellation was the middle of November.  It was mentioned letter were sent to the previous finance company and not to Paramount.  We will be happy to backdate the cancel if proof is shown those letters were sent to previous billing company...

back in September.  The proof can be sent to us through email or attached to this complaint.  If there is no proof, the cancellation department is willing to compromise will waive the fee's on the account and settle to cancel for $39.00 (September payment).Thank you
