Paramount Acceptance is the third party billing company for World Gym. As such we have to abide by agreement terms. Attach is a copy of the agreement, it should help answer the concerns on this complaint. As for the rate fee we cannot waive that fee it is part of the
agreement. Please let us know if you have any further questions.Thank you

After further review of the accounts, I noticed the mistake was on Paramount's end of not updating the correct card information to both accounts. I apologize for the mistakes and misunderstanding on your accounts. We have refunded the $bank fee charged and waived the
fee. We have also refunded $due to the account being overpaid. Both refunds were sent back to the card ending in ***. I appreciate the feedback on your experience with our representative. Paramount Acceptance works at providing great customer service and apologize for not having a good experience with us. We will be dealing with our representative internally. I am rejecting this response because: I went to French Riviera to confirm what I already knew -- the staff takes down your information and then "signs you up" onlineDuring this process they omit any cancellation feeI was never informed, was not given a fee schedule, and the young man Sean who signed me up did not give me a physical copy of any online agreementThe online signature is not mine, and isn't even my initialsTo attempt to enforce a document that French Riviera staff are completing on "behalf" of the customer without the customers knowledge is criminal

Paramount Acceptance asked Riviera Fitness to search their records for a cancellation notice for your account. They were unable to locate any email cancellation notice. Being the 3rd party billing company for Riviera Fitness we have to abide by their agreements.
Unfortuntely without proof of your June cancellation, we cannot backdate the cancel and refund. If you do find proof of your cancellation Paramount will be happy to backdate and refund.Thank you

Paramount Acceptance took over the billing for this account 9/15/ Paramount Acceptance is willing to backdate and honor the cancel request from October if proof is sent that the letter was sent to National Fitness in Layton, Ut Is there a certified letter receipt or acknowledgment
from National Fitness a letter was received by them? Was the letter returned to you, but postmarked? The proof can either be attached to this case or sent to **@paramountacceptance.com.Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: I cancelled my account through the website nationalfitness.com/memberinfoI was asked to put in my name and my member numberI received an email on April with that information and cancelled my account on or around late JulyAs stated before, the owners of the Norton VA branch were notified, as was your company in early AugustIf you wish to accept this as a cancellation of my account, that is on you, however, I do not feel it is fair to make me pay for a membership I have not been able to use since August 31st, and had taken the steps given to me to cancel my membershipI also feel it isn't fair to make me pay for a membership that was cancelled and voided due to me moving from Virginia to Oregon

I am rejecting this response because: they have not addressed
the how they continued billing after I notified them of my medical condition with the appropriate documentation or the fact they they have never provided the actua policy they cite I do accept them waiving the final payment, but I want a refund of all charges dating back to the first withdraw from my checking account last summer I spent countless hours trying to reason with them, but they continued to play games with me, no doubt hoping I would give up

I have looked at Mr*** and *** ***'s accountsWe have not received any request to cancel Mrand Mrs***s accountsIn our system anytime an account is looked at it logs it and there are no logs that we have looked up his account here at ParamountOur records also show that both
Mrand Mrs*** have been using the facilityIf Mr*** needs to go through cancellation:We need day written notice normally either mailed in or email into our officeI will accept this complaint as his days noticeAll payments will be due within this dayYour finaly payment will be due on 12-27-2015.If you have further questions or concerns and are still saying you cancelled at the gym, this complaint needs to be directed to themBut again you have been using the facilityYou used it on 11-28-and *** just used it yesterday

Subj: Paramount Acceptance
I disagree with the Paramount Acceptance response due to the
facts I have provided this information on the one accountsWe have never made
any attempts to get out of any accounts only requested to add another person to
the account due to the relocation of a child with a disability, whose name is
not correct on the account. Riviera Fitness
has tried their best to fix the contract.
In addition I renewed my contract the same day not knowing I would have
to go through this to have one contract corrected. Again, I paid for individuals to attend a
Fitness Center and have repeatedly been charge for six for over a year
1.
All information required to put these contracts
back in order was provided several times
2.
No call back from the third party billing
company - Paramount
3.
Riviera Fitness
who wrote the contract also has requested these contracts be updated by the
third party billing company and have repeatedly informed us that Paramount (the
Third party Billing Company) will not listen to them either and I would need to
contact them myselfThis is a fact
4.
Rivera Fitness in Crestview FL and I together
have spoken with Paramount about this issue and Paramount refuses to make the changes
5.
Riviera fitness has also informed Paramount that
the names on the account where incorrect several times and Paramount (The third
party Billing company will not make the change)
6.
If the contract is with Riviera Fitness and
Rivera Fitness has been requesting to fix the problem why will Paramount not
listen to the contract writer and the other party in the contract agreement?
7.
I personally witnessed Riviera Fitness make the
change within the computer system and Paramount continued to bill me
8.
Again, Paramount will not assign this issue to
one person and to-date we are still getting calls from multiple individuals at
Paramount with no information on the issue in front of them when we are
contacted. Each time we began discussing
the issue from its beginning

Last contact with a Paramount employee was
9/22/that did not know about the issue and had no authority to fix the
issueEnd result: We will get back to you.

Bottom-Line the statement Paramount wrote to the
Revdex.com is their cop-out statement of doing nothing to resolve the issue

If Paramount statement is true why are we continuously
getting multiple calls from different employees who have different or little to
know information on the issue?

In addition, if paramount statement is true, why
will Paramount not listen to Riviera Fitness Crestview, FL who wrote the
contract?
